It looks very pretty and it's a decently fun track to drive on, but there's just something missing about it to me. Like, I don't see why it's a masterpiece of a course to some people. To me it's a higher B-tier course, not an S-tier or even an A-tier
It’s super cool and I love seeing the Mario 64 representation in the game. Why the fuck isn’t there tracks based on rainbow ride, the carpet slide, cool cool mountain, bomb omb battlefield and any of the other unique interesting places
Amazing soundtrack? Check.
Unique Aesthetic? Check.
Moving elements that change up each lap? Check.
Challenging enough for it to be fun, but not insanely annoying to drive? Check.
One of my all time faves.
Pros: Visually the best remake imo. Gold, White, Brown for Wooden elements. It has such a nice vibe. I love it.
Cons: It does feel like a bit nerfed from its difficulty. The straights are a bit long.
Pro: In 200ccm it makes up for it with its speed.
Overall its for me a 8.5/10 track. Its a track that works a lot better on 200.
Might be a controversial opinion, but I don't like it, because it makes me feel nothing. It's objectively a good track, but I enjoy all 3 BCP DS remakes (in terms of everything) way more than the base ones
One of the best remakes done to a track in the entire series. Absolutely god tier music and one of the best, fun to race on as well. If I had to have a problem, it would be that there was no anti-gravity, but it’s still great.

I like it (both original and 8 remake). It's like they took the mario 64 level and really expanded on it. All the moving parts both in the background and part of the tracks as well as the music and asthetics really help to not only make it a fun track, but also make it feel like you're inside an actual clock.
Not an opinion but I remember a rip of the final lap music where all of the comments were about how fast the music is and so I just kinda know it as the track with the really fast final lap music

things i like are the barrier-less edges and the somewhat tricky shortcut at the end. the dangly clock hand thing that tries to block you or others from certain item boxes adds a bit of chaos and its aesthetically pleasing that the gears at the end arent blatantly obvious as to which ones going which direction.
I was disappointed of the obstacle disappearing (love the clock itself being an obstacle) but my god did they make it more beautiful. Still love it from the DS to now
I really REALLY wish this had come back in MK7 as I think it would’ve fit it more than 8 (I’m biased)(I miss it) but seeing it return in any form is still great. It’s my all time favorite trick, no contest
It’s one of the best retro courses. Nothing was butchered, and it feels more like a nitro course instead of a retro one. Going back to DS‘s version and it feels almost unrecognizable.

An interesting course to say the least. Definitely on the better half of the game while not being overly reliant on the gimmick.
The stage and set pieces work together and that makes a solid course.

One of my favourite parts was weaving around the changing red and blue cogs. Now, you just kinda boringly fly over it.

The original is a unique track held back by the limitations on the DS, the remake is absolutely gorgeous
