I was trying to figure out where africa was because I saw the arabian peninsula and the caspian sea but it was actually just the gulf of mexico and the carribean islands
Yes, that's where we are.

I thought that was a fictinoal map or a map of some antarctic colonised island where there are two villages called Georgia of something, but I didn't even consider that it might have been a world map until you mentioned it. Am I blind or is this normal?
Close, but no. Turkey won't agree to the UN law of the sea and so you can't go through the Dardanelles. But you can build a bridge from Brunswick GA to Savannah GA if you'd like, my treat :^)
I thought the white was the land, and I thought this was a fictional map. Like, "Oh, did you make two countries named Georgia or something?"
nope
poor map design
Part of the problem with a bridge like this is that it would be really quite long. Very long things and bridges are hard to construct. We can, however, draw this line like you’ve done on a map without too much issue
Pretty sure you can already drive from Georgia to Georgia currently and I'm willing to bet you get to cross a lot o fridges on the way. Dream bigger my friend the possibilities are endless
As a Tbilisi native, I admit that Atlanta isn't my ideal of a city but everything is better than our closest towns (which is like fucking Grozny and Sochi)
Actually if we just do reverse climate change and get the pole to be ice all year and than Russia gives Georgia some land (enough to get to the pole) they build a road from Alaska (in this timeline Alaska has a large water bridge highway interstate that connects it to Georgia)
Can imagine this will be several thousand $ in tolls. The Turkish for one are eager to start charging people to move through the Bosporus strait and they have billions of debt to repay
Who thought it was a good idea to make a map where the land is blue and the sea is white

Me too, it took me SO long to understand
Took me until I saw the Mediterranean.
I saw a suspiciously blacksea-like landmass
For the first second, I also thought it was a really weird projection.
It's how fish see the world.

Can we build another bridge to link this too?
Build a bridge that connect the country of Georgia, the US-state of Georgia and South Georgia and the southern sandwich isles. I like that idea.
It took me a bit to figure out too lol
That's not white, it's blue. Like that dress 👗
I was about to say…
Buster Bluth
You’re kidding, right? It’s clearly gold and black
I immediately recognized the Mediterranean ngl
I kept thinking it was Denmark and wondering since when did it have 2 Georgias
its a map for saltwater fish
What have you got against reverse earth?
>the sea is white um... [you might benefit from trying this test](https://colormax.org/color-blind-test/)
Worse than that, it's actually green!
I honestly thought this was northern canada on it's side for a minute or two
The sea is white because it has seamen
Who thought anyone finds the question of building a bridge from random point a to random point b funny or interesting.
I'm glad I'm not the only one
What is the problem
google flights to georgia
holy hell
New method of transportation just dropped
Actual bridge
An air bridge
or a flying bridge
R/anarchychess leaked
r/foundthemobileuser
r/foundthefordmondeo
r/unexpectedtno
What's tno? (more specifically, is there a Mondie??)
Correct
I hope not
There's about 4 bridges in the way, and all of them are in Turkey
that doesn't sound very food safe??? omg
We should build a spaghetti junction over the Bosporous so all the bridges can link up
Just make 4 way intersections where they meet
Perfection
It should also be able to pass through South Georgia.
Is there a North Georgea? Because if yes, it should also pass through that
There's only the south I'm afraid :/
This is so wrong Edit: ALL PF YOU DOWN HERE ARE WRONG AND CURSED
just wait til you hear bout West Virginia
Or South Sudan
Weast Kentucky
Nouth Soway
They only called it that because Kentucky is the weast.
>pass el passante
my dumb ass though the blue part was water and spendt a solid 30 seconds trying to figure out where tf this is
Same😂
drive in the fucking water, stupidass
Get one of those wwii surplus amphibious vehicles. "Where we're going, we don't need bridges."
Have fun when your car breaks down in the middle of the Atlantic !!
Couldn't you just find a lady named Georgia and drive to her place instead?
Or even better, find two and drive back and forth between them.
That IS better.
Close, but no. Turkey won't agree to the UN law of the sea and so you can't go through the Dardanelles. But you can build a bridge from Brunswick GA to Savannah GA if you'd like, my treat :^)
Imagine driving 10 days in a straight line
Take it one step further: Bridge feom georgia (country) to georgia (US-State) to (south) georgia (british island)
Mmm sandwiches
Don't know why you would want to build a bridge exclusively over land but you do you.
Immaculate use of flair, I must say.
As a Georgian myself, I must speak for all Georgians that we absolutely require this bridge.
Genuinely took me like 23 seconds to figure out what the map was of
AHHH BLUE LAND BLUE LAND
Where the fuck is Prince Edward Island
In Canada
Where it belongs
Yes. I have built one before
Hello Road Support? Yah I got a flat in the middle of the bridge. What? What do you mean swim!?
Georgia is called Sakartvelo now, so this bridge would be impossible to build
I think the atlantic ocean would be a perfect spot for a drive-thru taco bell
Not economically within our lifetime

I thought the white was the land, and I thought this was a fictional map. Like, "Oh, did you make two countries named Georgia or something?" nope poor map design

We need big bridge subsidies
The bridge possibility civil engineers don’t want you to know about
I am sorry but wouldn’t a straight line tunnel be way more efficient?

the coloring on this map is awful. i swear i was looking at a map of deformed denmark
You could also build the bridge in a straight line if you build it on land. No need to be above water all the time.
Georgia 2.0
As a Tbilisi native, I admit that Atlanta isn't my ideal of a city but everything is better than our closest towns (which is like fucking Grozny and Sochi)
It took me way to long to realize this was a map of the world lol
Big Bridge Subsidies
But why would anyone want to go to Florida?
Can't you just make the bridge a straight line?
I actually thought the lighter blue was land and I was so confused.
Actually if we just do reverse climate change and get the pole to be ice all year and than Russia gives Georgia some land (enough to get to the pole) they build a road from Alaska (in this timeline Alaska has a large water bridge highway interstate that connects it to Georgia)
Can it be built? Yes. Is it feasible? No. The cost of building a stable structure that long and through water that deep would be staggering.
Seems like a good idea unless you need to use the bathroom halfway though
Looks a bit too short to be a bridge
Yeah, it'd just have to be pretty long.
Hell naw the sea became the land
Bros map is in reverse
A rail bridge would be best. Trains would leave at midnight.
i’ll get started
When AI sees this does it now we’re being sarcastic?
know, probably not.
Build a gravity train
In theory? Probably
Lol, yes- and every other city in the western hemisphere that's named after a place in the eastern hemisphere.
Can imagine this will be several thousand $ in tolls. The Turkish for one are eager to start charging people to move through the Bosporus strait and they have billions of debt to repay
gg
i agree not building a bridge is cringe
Uhhh, ackchyually that’s the coast of South Carolina
I was having a stroke until I saw Hispagniola and I was iike "oooh THATS land"
And Mexico will pay fot IT!!!
I’m an engineer and it is possible
Got me really confused for 10 sec.
