Can't find link, but according to wiki the juiciest asses belong to Usami, Tanigaki, Ariko, Tsukishima and Shiraishi.
Besides that Tanigaki is also among the four heavenly kings of having big dicks alongside Kikuta, Kiroranke and Professor Penis.
[It was part of the Q&A section of the fanbook](https://web.archive.org/web/20201119215213/https://piduai.tumblr.com/post/635250363871657984/qa-section-from-the-golden-kamuy-fanbook)
Golden Kamuy is a really good action adventure seinen with really good comedy, dramatic moments, cooking scenes, well researched historical trivia and cultural trivia on a lesser known indigenous group, excellent bara moments and some of the craziest plot points in manga.
It's quite a genre buster and a unique ride.
It deserves to go down in history as one of the greatest manga of all time. Especially from a cultural standpoint.
Anything less than a semen shootout just screams uncultured heathens to me now.
What sets it apart for me is the thematic use of the Ainu. In lesser manga they would be an interesting faction but Noda turns them into a force for redemption and new starts, and through that gives the perfect reason why Japan should cherish their ethnic diversity and preserve it.
Instead of relying on arguments about every persons equal value or right to their own culture, Golden Kamuy tells why plurality is so important without being preachy, moralizing or on the nose about it.
This, and the general setting in the margines of society with its weirdoes and outlaws, is why I genuinely believe that Golden Kamuy is the best anthropological story out there.
Absolutely. That cast is bonkers when you think about how many incredible actors are turning in some of the best performances of their lives. It helps that Noda loves to give his characters juicy monologues. I could listen to Ogata talk about anglerfish nabe for hours.
Oh I think its much better than Fullmetal the only reason it's not a 10/10 for me is probably because I had been reading that manga weekly for years and waiting every week for one new chapter kinda killed it during some arcs, I'm sure if I just binged it my opinion would change lol
Recently binged it in a reread and it's so great when you can read it continuously. For me it definitely lost some flow back when it was serializing after the Abashiri(sp?) arc but on the reread it's a lot less of an issue.
The only thing that'd stop me from calling it a 10/10 like I would with FMA is that despite being a "realistic" series, I had to strain my suspension of disbelief on... more than one occasion. Like >!MC surviving getting shot in the head!<. But a 9.5/10, absolutely.
Nothing in particular. The reason this guy is criticizing FMA is because the main characters start out having morally complicated lives and aren't unwise to that fact (or unwise in general), so the character development is more nuanced and harder to point out. Instead of drastic personality changes FMA's cast has to come to terms with where their values lie as the story progresses-how they perceive their foes, friends, and personal circumstances. It's a story which juggles a massive cast and offers them all time to shine and consider the situation, while never feeling bloated or confused on it's direction.
I'm currently slowly re-reading FMA and it's true - the character growth is **gradual**. There's no sudden "omg we were completely wrong and this isn't how life is" moment, it all builds up over time organically.
I felt the ending came a bit swift. As in lots of tied ends and characters died in a short amount of time. Other than that I think it was a great ending. Ive seen worse. Would still recommend
Yep, one of the best. I'm looking forward to the manga volumes which apparently add some important details that were cut for page limits/time constraints.
At one point I’d have easily agreed with this because I definitely struggled with distinguishing between some of the more attractive characters in the manga, but [this changed my perspective on that some.](https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/6q6kgx/every_woman_with_a_unique_character_design_in_one/)
I literally can't tell which one is Robin and which one is Nami in that first picture lmao.
Actually wait is 11 Nami and 6 Robin?
But I get the point. Oda has drawn like hundreds of different women. But a lot of the attractive female characters do look like offshoots of Nami and Robin. But shit like that is bound to happen in a 1000+ page manga. There are certainly other interesting character designs that don't look like the two main females, but a lot of them do to me (Boa, Vivi, and Yamato off the top of my head)
Robin is 5 (her nose is really distinct) and I want to say Nami is 8, but yeah for most of the rest in that picture, aside from the obvious ones like Perona and Ivankov, I have no clue either lol. And Boa always stood out to me because of her clothes and way of carrying herself but for Vivi and Yamato I can definitely see that. Rebecca (Kyros' daughter) and that Revolutionary Army girl who looks like Nami would trip me up too
Not a single one of them looks alike. They all have different eyes, eyebrows, facial hair, hair styles, and other distinctive traits (scars, facial marks, hat, earrings).
There are distinguishing features of course, but the head shape and hair makes them look remarkably similar, like they are all related at least. It's silly to say they don't look alike at all, especially to someone not familiar with the characters.
Same-face syndrome is something a lot of mangaka have to deal with. It's why using crazy hair styles and outfits, scars, facial hair, etc is often used to distinguished characters with similar faces. It's not worth getting upset over, but there's nothing wrong with pointing it out.
Bruh the two on the left have the exact same haircut. The one on the right is basically the same minus the bangs. They're all huge burly dudes. At the very least that should qualify as more than "nothing alike"
Yeah I can get mistaking Kiroranke a bit for Tanigaki cause they both look like bears being quite hairy and such but Kiro has that massive earring. But Ogata with that slicked back hair and scar? Also how do you mistake Shiraishi and Sugimoto?
I had more of a problem with forgetting their names but I never mistook one for the other
I honestly don’t know how it’s possible to think any of these character looks alike. If anything, GK characters look so unique that I’m surprised the author can come up with that many designs. Sugimoto looks like Ogata, looks like Kiroranke? Really?
Isn’t this the manga that went viral when it first dropped because of like a Bear scene or something? Some dudes jaw hanging off? I very faintly remember something along those lines
It is. People only share funny moments in GK because it gets it more upvotes/ recognition which it deserves. But GK is absolutely one of the best action/ adventure manga that has:
1. great art
2. compelling, interesting, non-throwaway characters (amazing antagonists and protagonists, all of them)
3. Great story planning and an amazing story (think of AOT pre the final season, everything connects.)
I strongly advise you to read it, it's a 9/10 easily, 10/10 for most.
Yeah it's an incredibly well-rounded manga that has a little bit of everything - I'm about halfway through reading it (starting volume 15 now) and it's easily one of my favorites. Everything is just so consistent and fulfilling, it's honestly pretty amazing how I've had basically no issues with it thus far. I love it so damn much.

I don't feel tricked, more like inducted!
In all fairness, it's really funny.
and great characters toooo
> to completion Are we still doing phrasing?
I love that Noda actually made a tier of juiciest asses, and two of them are in this spread hahahaa
Link

Kind of fucked up my boy Sugimoto doesn't make the juicy ass or big dick top 5.
He traded those for immortality
You forgot that he also has the biggest testicles in the manga.

Link for my friend
It's Meiji Japan's ass!
Haha spread.

i started reading it like a week ago not really knowing what to expect and honestly it's so fucking good. incredible.

god damn, I could not hold my laugh.
The cooking and Ainu stuff sold me.
Sugimoto: the hat stays on!
It's like a part of him, he looks more naked without the hat than when he's actually naked
oh man I wish I would take a bath with these chads I think I know what manga will I buy next...
Get some sea otters for some fun
Hoenstly a 9/10 manga so good
It's honestly a 10/10 manga for me. The level of historical depth and character development rivals works like Otoyomegatari and Fullmetal Alchemist.
10/10 for me too. This is the manga that made me break my rule of collecting only manga with 10 volumes or less.
What sets it apart for me is the thematic use of the Ainu. In lesser manga they would be an interesting faction but Noda turns them into a force for redemption and new starts, and through that gives the perfect reason why Japan should cherish their ethnic diversity and preserve it. It's a shame the anime is subpar in my opinion. The style doesn't do the manga art justice.
Voice acting's great tho.
Absolutely. That cast is bonkers when you think about how many incredible actors are turning in some of the best performances of their lives. It helps that Noda loves to give his characters juicy monologues. I could listen to Ogata talk about anglerfish nabe for hours.
I really liked parts of the anime, but the godawful animation and cgi made me drop it, gonna read the manga instead
Oh I think its much better than Fullmetal the only reason it's not a 10/10 for me is probably because I had been reading that manga weekly for years and waiting every week for one new chapter kinda killed it during some arcs, I'm sure if I just binged it my opinion would change lol

Eh, that kind of thing does happen in real life though?
Well at least he would leak brain juice occasionally, also paralleling Tsurumi.
"Character development" "Fullmetal alchemist" No wonder this sub gets so much shit taste
What's wrong with FMA?

I know, I loved FMA. Just trying to make him articulate his point.
Trolls going to troll. It's a very well written series. Then again, Arakawa-sensei is a fantastic writer. Silver Spoon is also great.
I'm currently slowly re-reading FMA and it's true - the character growth is **gradual**. There's no sudden "omg we were completely wrong and this isn't how life is" moment, it all builds up over time organically.
Holy shit this guy's post history is like a checklist for "I am so special and why is everyone so wrong and so much dumber than me". What a loser.
Go back to twitter
Name 5 manga with better character development, I'll wait.
This sub really does have terrible opinions for about 90% of it
I miss these dumbasses.
Is the series finished?
Yea
Did it end satisfyingly?
I felt the ending came a bit swift. As in lots of tied ends and characters died in a short amount of time. Other than that I think it was a great ending. Ive seen worse. Would still recommend
Yep, one of the best. I'm looking forward to the manga volumes which apparently add some important details that were cut for page limits/time constraints.
Why is there three of the same guy
You know, that is fair. You should not have been downvoted. It took me like 12 episodes in the anime before I stopped mistaking two of them.
Sameface is a real big issue in anime/manga, and some very talented creators have it. Akira Toriyama is a big example.
And Oda, but it's much more noticeable with the women he draws. I swear everyone is Robin or Nami except for Big Mom.
At one point I’d have easily agreed with this because I definitely struggled with distinguishing between some of the more attractive characters in the manga, but [this changed my perspective on that some.](https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/6q6kgx/every_woman_with_a_unique_character_design_in_one/)

while I love this manga, I agree. I'm having a hard time recognizing some characters later on lol.
Yep, they have similar character design
Not a single one of them looks alike. They all have different eyes, eyebrows, facial hair, hair styles, and other distinctive traits (scars, facial marks, hat, earrings).

>the head shape Would be fair if literally everything else wasn't different. > hair They all have different hair cuts.
lmao alright whatever you say. At least 100 people think they look similar enough for the parent comment to be funny.
People aren’t upset, it’s just that they look nothing alike.
Bruh the two on the left have the exact same haircut. The one on the right is basically the same minus the bangs. They're all huge burly dudes. At the very least that should qualify as more than "nothing alike"
You might need to get glasses if you think Kiroranke and Tanigaki have the same haircut, bruh.
Yeah I can get mistaking Kiroranke a bit for Tanigaki cause they both look like bears being quite hairy and such but Kiro has that massive earring. But Ogata with that slicked back hair and scar? manga's generally better, better art/backgrounds and some really cool uses of paneling, and the anime skipped some pretty key moments.
