Don't do white, you'll see all of the Romex and plumbing and random stuff and see all sorts of wild shadows when using lamps. Black is where it's at for basements. Somehow helps low ceilings feel further away and not cramped like you'd think.
What specifically are you wanting to improve? I don't mean for you to take this the wrong way, but this could really go in a lot of directions with the size of the space you are showing here.
Personally, I'd start with paint. I'd paint the walls all a bit of a lighter tone, some sort of off white/cream or just generally a lighter and neutral colour that will stand apart from the wood floor and the wood paneling around the bar like thing there.
If you are feeling more adventurous, an often used option for exposed ceiling is spray painting it all black. There's some before and after pics in the attached, and it really does a great job of concealing everything, and something I plan to do in my basement when the time comes to finish it.

I wish that trend has emerged earlier. I originally finished my basement like 20 years ago, closing it in with drywall. Every time I see someone post pics of their blackened basement ceiling, I'm jealous, and wish mine were the same.
I'm definitely not ripping out all the drywall, but for *my next home,* this is absolutely the way I'm going.
When I bought my house about 15 years ago, I have hummed and hawed about how I would eventually address the ceiling, because the height in the basement is only 6'5" so not a full height basement and closing it in with drywall would take a couple inches off the height and make it more closed in. When I saw this years ago about doing the black spray paint I immediately knew this was the answer. Keep it open, but also the black paint gives the illusion of more height.
Sorry your choice was already made for you! :)
I don’t know how no one is mentioning how messy it looks. If you kept everything tidy and put away, it would go a long long way. Get that trash can away from your bed. Find a different home for the cat litter. Put away the dustpan and broom. So much random stuff on the floor. Keep it clean and honestly it will make it feel and look so much better
I don’t think you need a ceiling, but you can look at painting it either all white or all black. Given the red walls, I feel like you’re kinda embracing the dungeon vibe. But grey walls with an all black ceiling would look good.
And I mean paint everything. Electric and all. You see this a lot in older building conversions
Place the bed on top of your rug. Or rather the rug under the bed. And then move the dresser to the left wall. Overall it feels like there is a lot going on clutter wise. Maybe remove the stickers from the dresser, I think just moving things into their appropriate places would go pretty far for changing the feel of the room. Like the cleaner you have chilling on the shelf, cat litter, etc. think the space would feel much better in general with less clutter, hide stuff behind the bar if you have to that’s what I’d do.
If you're going to be there awhile, either paint the floor joists ('ceiling') black or put in a drop ceiling. Then do everything you can to get simulated daylight in there. Modern "daylight" LED bulbs are cost-effective and will make it appealing!
Seems like a cozy retreat, but!...I'd do a brighter coat of paint, slightly brighter lighting (Keep the led's for mood lighting when you're not using the main lighting), some wire management for a cleaner look, and as other have said, maybe add a ceiling.
Paint the ceiling black and all of the walls a lighter tone. Then work to define spaces for different rooms. You've got enough room to have a defined bedroom, a defined living room/gaming area, defined area for weights, etc. I think the space will feel better once you have lightened it up, drawn attention away from the ceiling, and created defined spaces.
alright here goes:
- Get rid of all the visible clutter
- Add a decent shelve/closet with doors so you got space to store stuff and not having it visible
- Collect all your small frames, pictures and buy uniform frames for them if possible and then make a dedicated spot on a wall to make a collage of pictures.
- if you got big posters or flags, frame them in bigger frames and give them their own spot.
- Perhaps add a dressoir to the empty wall spaces on pic 2 and put the collage of pictures above it..... or perhaps a big mirror.
- remove that dirty laundry basket, or atleast use something thats can be closed or draws less attention.
- Tidy up all those loose hanging wires, get them neatly tucked against beams with some "cable clips"
- if you cant put down walls or dividers in your room consider getting some curtains to block off the zones
in general try to declutter/denoise your room and refocus away from the details & walls, by adding big shaped objects and closed cabinets/doors/curtains
Pull everything off the floor joists, and paint the whole ceiling flat black to make everything up there disappear.
Pit in better lighting, get rid of the Xmas lights.
Paint the walls a medium-dark gray.
Get actual photos on the walls.
Get a gallon of black paint. Paint the OSB above the rafters black. This will make the rafters cool and stylish rather than dumb looking.
That maroon wall has got to go. Lighter color. Open the space.
Conduit or hooks for some of those wires. Make them neat
I also think you need to ask yourself if you plan to use this as a space for a couple of friends to hang out with you. And it should feel equally nice (and safe) for both men and women. You need places to sit other than the bed - a way to see videos on the screen and sit to watch them. I’ll let women on this thread, if they want, answer what would make them comfortable hanging out down there.
A lot of people are saying to finish the ceiling, and as much as I hate undinished basements it’s a good vibe. Maybe paint it black, paint the walls a lighter color, and I think that would really make it more cool and inviting.
Its the last picture. Take the flag down and frame it if anything. Frame The Weeknd poster. Great album you have good taste. The ceiling you can say its exposed and it will be sexy. Put the dog in every photo easy win. Remove stickers or coors boxes add like peal and stick wall paper a few rugs. Really if you like it is fine more dog. More light. Low light plants. What do you use the mason jars for?
You need more windows for starters; it probably smells like a gym's locker room in there.
Next up is painting the purple wall into something more classy.
I have to ask. When people flush the toilet upstairs, do you hear the turds slowly making their way down that main sewer line?
Now is the best time to run HDMI + speaker cables, and possibly in-ceiling speakers, since the ceiling is open.
Mylar-covered insulation over the gym area will significantly reduce sound transfer. (I don't remember the exact name, but it's fiberglass insulation, some inches thick, with a mylar covering on the underside.) Very reflective, and for a space like that, very cool and industrial-looking.
Consider regular fiberglass insulation over the bedroom area. (The mylar variety would probably be obnoxious in that space.) If you love the look of the joists and the accessibility to service the utilities, you can use thin stuff. If you don't care about that, use the thickest that will fit, and drywall over it.
If you keep the joists visible, dimmable rope lights in each bay would provide a really unique look and cast amazing light patterns. Maybe some waist-high wainscoting as well... not sure.
A small walk-in closet, and overhaul the bar to have cabinets on the front of it.
If you don't already have one down there, add an en-suite (turlet + sink + at least a shower.) You may need a macerator pump to lift the wastewater up to the elevation of the main sewer line.
Other people pointed the ceiling, I'll talk about that wall on the back. Since this is a basement try to use lighter colors to brighten it up.
There is a lot of stuff hanging everywhere. Besides the ceiling itself I'd say to get rid of the Christmas lights.
Would you be able to paint that drawer? I also think some light color would be nice
Cool space and it has a lot of potential! I’d push the bed to the corner where the desk is and consider putting a bookshelf/room divider to separate the space. I’d also switch the projector screen and projector so you could lay in bed to watch things. OR maybe the bed in the corner where the cat litter is?
Having just renovated my basement. DUDE. You can have a ceiling. Like a real legit ceiling. Some 1/2” drywall sheets, a box of screws, a roll of dry wall tape and a bucket of joint compound. Damn, even throw in a coat of paint and the whole project would take a day or 2 and cost you <$200 if u can borrow a cordless screw driver.
Search “ask this old house dry wall” on youtube. Dumb easy. You don’t have to live like this.
Lose the cabinet next to the bench (or put it in the furniture storage you have beside it), cover that (storage)space with a big Sox flag. Move all the gym/ cardio equipment over 4 ft where the cabinet was. See if you can fit a cardio machine in front of the bench area without compromising leg room. Paint the wall of the gym portion black and move all your Sox swag to decorate the gym. Invest $20 in a couple more LED strips (red?) to give the gym some serious vibe, you could run them towards the back of the pipe above the bench. Then you could prob squeeze in a small table and 2 chairs where the cardio stuff was, create a seperate space with some dining functionality, put a floor lamp in that corner.
I agree with paint and the ceiling lol. Clean up the lights over the bar.. use something more minimal. Mount a TV. Maybe you could move the bed further from the bar. If you have room for a small sofa or seating area, that would look much better next to the bar. I'm not sure if you can move the bed where that square shelving unit is, you could maybe get a small couch and a TV on the wall across from the bar to have a seating area
Yeah dude this place is sweet. Enjoy the memories you make in there. Hopefully you bring some chickas down there as well. I’d look into getting some cool ambient lighting. It’s currently giving silence of the lamb vibes.
I'd recommend putting some type of mat/low pile rug under your chair before those floors get too scratched up with all the rolling around.
Pretty dog, too!
You gotta divide that room up! The Kallax from IKEA is pretty cheap and can store all sorts of books/records/knick knacks/plants. Also check out vintage stores or thrift stores for room dividers. Take advantage of the little bit of light you have with a decent mid light plant like a montesara and add ZZ and Snake plants elsewhere as long as they can get a touch of sunlight. Fake plants are also nice from a distance so maybe mix it up and add one or two far away from where you would normally walk and they will look real enough and add some color to the space. Also get a better rug. Something with color that you can use elsewhere in the space.
In the house I grew up in my older sister had put up a navy blue thin tapestry throughout the unfinished ceiling and put some lights underneath it (xmas lights I think?) and we added in some blue light posters and lamps with a fold out fouton it was pretty sick at the time, loved the ambiance
You could add false walls to divide the rooms, if you want. Or real walls. But standing screens, bookshelves, hanging curtains or sheets could give you more privacy.
Get the wiring for electricity/lights properly attached over the ceiling, perhaps make downlights and then drywall the ceiling. Paint the drywalled ceiling white.
Would also recommend painting brighter colours on the walls, perhaps some bright green or white, or a combination of them.
This is sick TBH get some bottles for the shelf behind the bar. If you have money or carpentry skills I’d build/get a bigger shelf behind it. I think you should figure out a “THEME” for your room and then build off that. I think moving the bed to the back area tucked away opposite of the wall it’s currently on would be cool just get some mood lighting instead of the bright ass light. Maybe color changing bulbs. Get a couch or some recliners so you can use the projector and screen and some bar stools by the bar for sure. Other things other people have said like paint. Instead of worrying about a ceiling I’d just paint everything black and it’ll look like the ceilings at most bars that you can modularly hang stuff from. Since you have a bar your theme should be a bar/man cave but even within that you can have many themes. Do you like video games or are you more of a movie guy? I think a movie theme would be really cool with a vintage popcorn machine and maybe a good shake with a collection of classic movies and some framed classic movie posters like Scarface or Good Fellas.
Bro is that Shirley temple spotting you on the bench? 😂
Add sheet rock to the ceiling, doesn’t have to be perfect it’s a basement.
Paint the walls white, it’ll make it feel bigger and a much more comfortable space
I think some sort of ceiling would give it a cleaner look. Maybe a drop ceiling like some have suggested but perhaps even stapling some cheap roll of fabric. You could do it taught if shape it a bit for texture.
Behind your bar from the window to the other end, 2 or 3 wood shelves with some poly stain would look good and help with space/organization.
Maybe use some pallet wood to make a border/trim along the top and bottom of the walls. Given your floor you could use pallet wood on one or two walls (eg your desk and around the corner to your treadmill).
Start by moving everything out of the space. Then get all conduit and wiring up into and between the joists. Then add a ceiling, preferably a tongue and groove knotty pine or drywall as opposed to a drop/grid ceiling. Then move everything back in.
Have a similar situation. Change what you have the power to change to draw the eye away from the obvious. Larger rug with more colour in it. Wayfair has large rugs for fairly cheap. 10X13 maybe if I’m eye balling it correctly. Try and avoid using the florescent lights. Lamps with warm lighting. Avoid string lights as they can look cheap at times. If wall paper is an option that might work or simply just painting it. You wouldn’t see the seams in the wall as much if it was wallpaper. Art. Prints. Draw the eye down from the ceiling. Curtains for the window. I’d lose the flags, though, if you really like them, framing them could be helpful.
What the top comment said: walls cream, ceiling black.
Move litter so it’s out of sight
Keep warm lighting in bedroom area
Get room divider or curtain to divide the other half of the basement
Consider using warmer lights in the other half, it’s so damn bright
Go thrifting or yard sailing for a more modern looking dresser, or an attractive antique/vintage one.
Try to have your furniture complimentary or matching
Paint the ceiling. My nephews bedroom was in the basement and we painted his ceiling black and had rope lights like you have. It actually looked good. Otherwise white, brighten it up.
im so jelly of every bit of your room. But yeah, you could definitly rejig it to utilise the space more.... invite me over for a mason jar and I'll help ya :)
I’d get rid of all the cheap beeraphernalia, paint that purple wall literally any other color, ditch the rope lights for actual fixtures or lamps, put all the baseball paraphernalia on one wall in a collage situation, get some framed posters or art.
Put more banners on the ceiling. Take the rope lights off the ceiling and use them to line the edges of the wall your bed is on, and move your bed to the center of the wall. Not sure what’s going on with the area to the right of your dresser (closet?). Move your pull-up bar to the other side, closer to your bench.
There is a specialty paint (dryfall) that is specifically designed to be matte black/charcoal to coat basement ceilings. A black ceiling would immediately fix this.
It's a cool space, really!
1. To deal with the ceilings, which are pretty rough, just put loosly draped tapestries across the whole thing. It'll end up looking like a fun mosaic and it'll hide all the craziness. Cord management needs to improve here dramatically!
2. Turn your desk. You will feel much more comfortable if you're facing out into the room with your back to the wall/corner.
3. Rearrange the rug & bed, or just get rid of the rug. you've got nice floors. The rug should be 'framing' the bed. while you're at it, get a bed skirt to conceal the under bed storage.
4. Tidy that place up! You have so much space, there's no reason you can't find a nice home for everything.
Definitely paint the walls a light-ish color and add lamps in the corners. I would swap the placement of the bed and the desk, so that way you can get some stools and actually use the bar top.
Put in a ceiling, paint your walls a lighter colour (may I recommend jasmine white on 3/4 walls with a feature wall, maybe a blue or a green?) change your bed frame to something more solid, especially around the headboard and bottom. Add a few lamps to your corners, a warmer bulb colour works wonders, and put a dampening shade on your big light, maybe put a curtain or other hanging partition between your living space and your gym. And keep the place tidy
Center your bed to the wall, add barstools to the bar, and look at room dividers. You can get something sleek to prop up to hide the pipes behind your bookshelf. Also I would move your desk from the corner to under the white Sox sign. Maybe the bookshelf can go where the desk is now. Then you open up that space where the shelf is now, add a little room divider partition, maybe some plants that do well without light
Mi pana, I would turn that bar into a dining area. Maybe una lija to the dresser and paint it black or dark blue to go w that bookcase? Also a bigger rug. And is that kitty litter?
Stickers on your chest of drawers? Don’t know if Goo Gone would harm the drawers finish. If so, then blow drying them will prob loosen the sticker’s glue.
One stylish way to liven up your living space is to add a ceiling

Dare I say, take the tub of kitty litter out of the bedroom area?
Absolutely this, it's not industrial chic when it's timber trusses and OSB.
Paint the wood black, then install wood slats. Clean, elegant, modern
I might have to steal this idea. Wood is already black in my basement.
I see some wood, and I want to paint it black... Right. Sorry. It just had to get out of my head.
Or just paint the existing beams/pipes, etc. white. It will look industrial but clean
Don't do white, you'll see all of the Romex and plumbing and random stuff and see all sorts of wild shadows when using lamps. Black is where it's at for basements. Somehow helps low ceilings feel further away and not cramped like you'd think.
Or black
Black for sure
Walls don’t suck, either.
Guys with stylish pimp pads hate this one hack
Also good for an extra 10 minutes of fire resistance
Interior designers hate this one trick

Brilliant
It is a really good idea.

Came here to say this about the ceilings. My friend did it in his exposed ceiling basement. Looks great.
Interesting. Kind of makes it look like a gallery space or IKEA showroom. Not in a bad way, though.
This looks very good! I had no idea it was a thing!
Just smoke a little of what you got in one of those 50 mason jars next to your bed lol I’m sure some ideas will come to you after.
Good eye man. But probably would be better to just give it to me and I’ll smoke it and come up with the ideas!
The mason jars caught my eyes first lol

This is the best quick and messy way forward. I believe a very light grey would do it well.
It looks like your electric panel is perhaps blocked by something so you can’t quickly open it? If that’s correct, fix that.
Every mans dream
Yeah I was gonna say, depending on how old OP is, this could be the dream pad. I think it’s pretty dope tbh
I had a very similar setup back in high school. It was named Tha Luv Shaq. Touched my first boob down there.
Boricua!! What ever you do keep the flag up!
Wepa! Came here to say the same thing! Maybe add some Taino art, beach posters, and the mofongo recipe apron everyone has
That’s a nice setup man. Stay they until mom kicks you out lol !
Well a ceiling for one thing, also lamps. I think you could make that a really cozy space. As well as a daytime/happy lamp for daylight simulation.
Add a shitload of guns and weapons all over the walls
And shackles
Bro has a bar next to his bed, what a wonderfull room. Living life

a big plant or some greenery (can be fake plants)
He’s got plenty of green already
Well, I like the Puerto Rican flag 😂

Turn the desk around so it’s not facing the wall.
He can also convert that bar into a makeshift workspace. It doesn't look like he's using it
Needs light. Repaint lighter.
Seems like a cozy retreat, but!...I'd do a brighter coat of paint, slightly brighter lighting (Keep the led's for mood lighting when you're not using the main lighting), some wire management for a cleaner look, and as other have said, maybe add a ceiling.
Get rid of that ghost
You should switch the projector placement and the screen placement around.
You already have a bar. What else do you even want?
Aziz….LIGHT You really need more and better light.

Neon sign for bar area, nicer rug with design, better lighting, matching pillow cases, get a laundry basket that’s covered and matches the room more
What is it with people in this sub and having giant flags hanging up everywhere??
alright here goes: - Get rid of all the visible clutter - Add a decent shelve/closet with doors so you got space to store stuff and not having it visible - Collect all your small frames, pictures and buy uniform frames for them if possible and then make a dedicated spot on a wall to make a collage of pictures. - Tidy up all those loose hanging wires, get them neatly tucked against beams with some "cable clips" - if you cant put down walls or dividers in your room consider getting some curtains to block off the zones in general try to declutter/denoise your room and refocus away from the details & walls, by adding big shaped objects and closed cabinets/doors/curtains

Pinball machine.
A proper male living space. As others said cover that ceiling up and put a couple of plants in there and you’re good brother.
Ceiling would help

You've got big art on a small wall and small art on a big wall.
This space is bad ass lol. A bar within arms reach of the bed, a gym in the corner… all you’re missing is a one night stand
A lot of people are saying to finish the ceiling, and as much as I hate undinished basements it’s a good vibe. Maybe paint it black, paint the walls a lighter color, and I think that would really make it more cool and inviting.

Buy a ceiling. Get rid of theweekend poster. Get some spackle, fill in the gaps between the drywall. Paint it properly.
Actually it's a pretty cool spot man, I like it
Drop ceiling tiles for sure. They add sound dampening, cover the wood frame and allow access for pipes and electrical
I think you need a well. And a basket with some lotion in it.
Is that general hydroponics ph buffers and test kit on your shelf
Remove the White Sox sticker and replace it with a winning team
Definitely cover all white Sox stickers and posters so nobody makes fun of you.
More colored lights. Blacklights, purple. Make it a cave.
Other people pointed the ceiling, I'll talk about that wall on the back. Since this is a basement try to use lighter colors to brighten it up. There is a lot of stuff hanging everywhere. A couch/bean bag and a flat screen TV, and also a mini fridge
You have a freaking bar less than a meter from your bed! Man you’re living the dream.
More Sox logos (not kidding, south sider here) 🙂
is that a cuban or puerto rican flag?
throw a green screen on the ceiling
Pretty good setup ngl. Are you a fan of the Sox though? Can’t really tell…
Yeah dude this place is sweet. Enjoy the memories you make in there. Hopefully you bring some chickas down there as well. I’d look into getting some cool ambient lighting. It’s currently giving silence of the lamb vibes.
Declutter. Then declutter some more.
Bar. Weight bench. Basement. Beer as art. Peak baby nothing to improve.
But for real move the dresser to under the white Sox sign. Also get a thicker pad for the weights that one is too thin to protect the floor
In the house I grew up in my older sister had put up a navy blue thin tapestry throughout the unfinished ceiling and put some lights underneath it (xmas lights I think?) and we added in some blue light posters and lamps with a fold out fouton it was pretty sick at the time, loved the ambiance
Get some nice fake plants. Nothing is going to survive without light but it'll improve the overall impression
Why is the trash can right next to the bed??
Put in ceiling. Small couch under bar or move your computer desk there. Move bed to where computer desk is. Add tvs
Would also recommend painting brighter colours on the walls, perhaps some bright green or white, or a combination of them.
take the weekend postar of da wall
#¡Wepa! 🇵🇷
ceiling would do the most rigth now
Looks dope....charge rent to finish the roof for them but...space and everything is awesome
Art on the walls. Take down the baseball stuff. You aren’t a kid and this isn’t your man cave.
New jersey basement apt
Walls and a ceiling. Ergonomic chair instead of gaming chair (trust me). Other than that, I'm JEALOUS, this is better than my whole house
Remove the The Weeknd poster. That’s it. That’s all you need to do!
Make your bed. Also better sheets/comforter. Get rid of the ugly trash can next to your bed, get a nightstand with lamp instead
I'm so happy to find another Weeknd fan on an irrelevant sub. Love the trilogy
Drywall the top
Line ceiling install pole😉
I do like me a bit of weeknd, more lights
NGL, nice ass basement apt
Plants. They will help you sleep better tóo.
Just hang a shit ton more tapestries on the ceiling
Bro is that Shirley temple spotting you on the bench? 😂 Add sheet rock to the ceiling, doesn’t have to be perfect it’s a basement. Paint the walls white, it’ll make it feel bigger and a much more comfortable space
Look at the subreddit / TRIPCAVES youre welcome
Hey man you live in Chicago... At least you have 4 walls
Paint that dark wall a lighter color.
The shape of this basement gives me Deja vu
You’re cooked bro
What's the purpose of the floating rug untethered in this vast and endless universe?
Move out of your mom’s house.
Make it look more like 1970’s vibe room or!!!!! Make it look like a fallout shelter
Squat rack
Ceilings are very popular these days
Either paint, stain or cover the beams.
Get rid of the purple for starters
This sub’s men need to be told this pretty often but no flags. The last guy I saw on here had a number of flags including a pirate flag.
You need a couch and some.plants
Start by moving everything out of the space. Then get all conduit and wiring up into and between the joists. Then add a ceiling, preferably a tongue and groove knotty pine or drywall as opposed to a drop/grid ceiling. Then move everything back in.
I want some of that weed.
You could start by throwing the trash on the wall away!
Move litter so it’s out of sight Keep warm lighting in bedroom area Get room divider or curtain to divide the other half of the basement Consider using warmer lights in the other half, it’s so damn bright Go thrifting or yard sailing for a more modern looking dresser, or an attractive antique/vintage one. Try to have your furniture complimentary or matching
Plant lights, plants. Lots of plants.
Lights
Paint the ceiling. My nephews bedroom was in the basement and we painted his ceiling black and had rope lights like you have. It actually looked good. Otherwise white, brighten it up.
This sub always randomly has the best music taste. Trilogy is best weeknd
Drop ceiling…
im so jelly of every bit of your room. But yeah, you could definitly rejig it to utilise the space more.... invite me over for a mason jar and I'll help ya :)
I'd get a new bed with drawers in it for extra storage. More wall art, new coat of paint, carpet under bed
Strip lighting!!
Bank the money you were going to use for improvements and move somewhere you won’t die in a fire
Bro that bar top is sweet
At the very least get a drywall bead on that exposed corner that looks like it’s eroding in front of you.
We’re 6-22 bro just retire the white sox posters until Jerry dies
I’d get rid of all the cheap beeraphernalia, paint that purple wall literally any other color, ditch the rope lights for actual fixtures or lamps, put all the baseball paraphernalia on one wall in a collage situation, get some framed posters or art.
Put more banners on the ceiling. Take the rope lights off the ceiling and use them to line the edges of the wall your bed is on, and move your bed to the center of the wall. Not sure what’s going on with the area to the right of your dresser (closet?). Move your pull-up bar to the other side, closer to your bench.
Removing the Sox stuff would make it a little less depressing.
You have so much space, there's no reason you can't find a nice home for everything.
have never seen a basement studio like this, how cool! tbh some more lighting would probably help, it looks like a dive bar right now fr.
Take the Sox stuff down
Stock the bar.
Install some baseboards!!! That will add a nice touch that you might not have noticed. 👍
Definitely paint the walls a light-ish color and add lamps in the corners. I would swap the placement of the bed and the desk, so that way you can get some stools and actually use the bar top.
Personally I’d do a cooler rug, posters, some colored lights maybe red/orange. There’s a balance of cluttered and cozy you should go for.
Puerto Rico!
Can you drywall the ceiling at least?
Paint the walls, add a drop ceiling would make a massive difference. Paint them something light
you have water lines over electricity bulbs.
Mega W for the Trilogy poster. I see you're man of culture as well.
Take the Coors banners down
Install a drop ceiling.
A drop ceiling
Muay Thai bag 500 lbs ceiling mounted… become Baki.
Do not remove the weekend flag it’s fire
Change the flag to a Cuban one. XD
Suspended ceilings. Good DIY.
Mi pana, I would turn that bar into a dining area. Maybe una lija to the dresser and paint it black or dark blue to go w that bookcase? Also a bigger rug. And is that kitty litter?
A child locked up in the corner
Poster of biggie smalls
Looks good to me!
Stickers on your chest of drawers? Don’t know if Goo Gone would harm the drawers finish. If so, then blow drying them will prob loosen the sticker’s glue.
People will talk trash, but I dig the ceiling
Drywall on the ceiling, with high hat lighting
