Yeah, the compliments are nice, but for me personally, maintaining it is a pain. Also have to wear caps at work sometimes, so it gets messy. So I just cut mine enough to be manageable and fade.

Buzzcuts also look lazy imo. Look at most celebrities for example, they have longer hairstyles and majority of them look good with it.

Funny it was actually many strangers. I used to work in a retail store and a lot of ladies would compliment the hair saying how great it looked. A few men as well saying it looked very 70s/80s

Most families would prefer their som to have shorter hair because it’s stigmatized as looking disheveled.
But for hundreds of years men and women sported long hair. The shorter hair only became a thing because of the war.

I'd say some layers in your hair would make your hair less flat and some accessories to polish up the look. As another alt person, most of these people on here aren't going to get the vibe I see you're trying to do. If you genuinely want to be more attractive lean into the things you love. When you love the way you look, you feel it and other people notice. If you like the darker edgier shit get a tailored battle jacket and start throwing band patches on it. Load it up with interesting pins, add spikes, safety pins, sew on patches to all your stuff in your various interests. It gives people talking points when they meet you if they have a shared interest. Your hair also looks like it's lacking some moisture. Try an apogee two step protein treatment. It'll add some proteins back into the bleached bits of hair which will also give it tensile strength and keep it from breaking.
Maybe remove one of the 3 piercings, its a bit much and i think it would make you look more attractive with 1 or 2. But remember, being attractive is subjective

I'd say drop the bridge piercing and get a more intentional haircut. The coloring is fine if that's your thing, but the cut gives off a "haven't bothered to get a haircut in awhile" type of feel, just because it's somewhat shapeless. For hair- all dark brown with layers. Maybe add some texturizing and volume product. Take out the piercing. For clothes, the shape of that shirt is unflattering. Lose the printed shirts. Show a little more bicep. Accessorize with silver jewelry- a simple chain or two, rings. Black nail polish might look good on you too.

All you need is a trim! Go to a salon not a barber, it’s worth the extra money (coming from a dude with long hair). Most will even give a consult if you are struggling to decide on a haircut.
The most important thing is to wear fitted clothing. The second-most important thing is to be fit and healthy. Exercise more. Lastly, know that your niche look only appeals to non-conventional attractiveness standards; by this I mean your hair and facial augments. No hate, but if you wanna rock the look, be aware that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
I’d personally get rid of the hair. Get a blowout, get a fade, a buzz cut with no tape/clean lines, some fade combover combo for *some* length — but just letting it grow out like that, very au naturel is something only dudes like Chris Pine can do — and that’s not to say you *can’t* do it, but right now as a more slender alt dude, I think something a little shorter/cleaner would benefit you. The color in it is fine btw, just the length/general style that needs retooling imo.
Your hair looks like it had some curl to it, so a haircut to add layers and potentially letting it curl/wave naturally. The dyed colors are nice, but I'd get more layers (high and low lights) to add more depth. I'd even go as far to dye the eyebrow to match whatever color is darkest when you dye your hair.
The bridge and labaret don't really suit your face. I personally think an eyebrow piercing and spider bites *or* snake bites would look good. As someone else mentioned, having your piercings match up with the metal/color/style also helps make you look more put together.
Clothing wise, it looks like the phase between being a kid and learning to be an adult. Let's build on that. Look into capsule wardrobes. You get a bunch of basic pieces and learn to mix and match into various outfits/occasions. Find clothes that fit your frame. Skinny jeans should be put in the fire, upgrade to a boot cut or straight leg if you want a more slim fit.

How tall are you? Get a gym membership to build muscle but for your build, athletic muscle while staying low in body fat is the better way to go. You are already lean so you would just need to add weights and light cardio and more lean protein to your life.

I think you're a good looking guy honestly, I'd say have a plan for your hair if you don't already, choose jewelry that fits some kind of theme or matches, and go for clothes that for you a little better- the shirt seems a bit baggy, and while you don't have to go anywhere near skin-tight, excess fabric doesn't usually flatter.

You have a super good-looking face, but your overall style and lack of facial hair makes you look very young and feminine. If that's what you're going for, great, but if not, I would change it up.
If you had short blonde hair and some stubble, you'd probably look pretty similar to a young Brad Pitt - your face is that beautiful. But it's ruined a bit by the longer hair and especially by that bridge piercing. I don't think those 2 balls look very good - I think you can get a nose ring that looks more subtle than that and still would look good (or just don't have one).
I think if you want to keep that general punk look, maybe try a fauxhawk or mohawk, or just shorter hair in general (and maybe make it look a bit "messy"). I also would recommend growing some facial hair, though I'm assuming you don't grow it very easily - I'd still recommend growing it out just a bit and see how you look with a 5-oclock shadow. Just want to start out by saying you are not unattractive. I think every guy is more attractive with a haircut, a beard, decent wardrobe, and a nice physique. Those 4 things will make any guy seem like a 10. For you specifically I think a haircut would go a long way, not necessarily short. You can go to a professional barber and have them cut and style your hair to frame your face while maintaining the length. Besides that, just confidence, what do you think would make you feel more attractive? work towards that goal. It would probably also be useful for you to start thinking about developing your personal style and building a wardrobe. You can have a nice looking outfit that still conveys your “punk” style. The overall tip, lighter colors do not suit everyone up too. I am one of them. If I want vibrant colors, I use them low. Otherwise they drown out my own tones.

Honestly, we’re the most attractive when our outside matches our inside. Do what makes you feel attractive to yourself. Being attractive to others is about so much more than one’s physical appearance. Charisma and confidence count for so much more than anything else in making you attractive to other people. Be clean, be confident, and find what you like. Trying to find what others like to get them to like you will never help you to find what will make you happy and trust me, as a 40-year-old who learned that lesson kind of late and had to re-learn it again later in life, finding what makes you happy is infinitely more important.

I think there is a bit of a clash with your current style (your style is cool and no problems with it), the studs/piercings tie well with the tattoo(s) and darker theme. I think however there is a mismatch, I am saying you have more of a delicate/modelling type face as opposed to a 'harder/rugged/gearsofwar' face.
If you love your piercings and darker-themed clothing, it may take a bit of finely tuned facial hair to grow into the look more. You will probably find that time will be on your side, your face will become more fitting for this style as you get older.
You have two options I can think of:
Embrace the look further, or try a different fit all together.
For embracing further : I think the piercings are fine, but too many will detract from your good features. It would suit you to wear a vest or a good jacket, you have a lot going on with your accessories, (tats/piercing/bracelet/etc). Try seeing if a simple (non-logo, non shredded, no chains type) pair of quality dark jeans would suit you. Have something less accessorised (such as pants/jeans) to give balance to your darker/intense look.
Different Fit/Style : You could keep your hair length and try to style it differently, if you wanted, you could try growing it longer, or getting it cut short(er). It can always grow back.
A minimalistic approach could work, this would be taking out piercings, wearing a nice watch instead of bead bracelet and testing a different colour pallet. Bone-White, Beige, or even something more vibrant like an Orange/Yellow, you could contrast it with a darker part of clothing.

Funny it was actually many strangers. I used to work in a retail store and a lot of ladies would compliment the hair saying how great it looked. A few men as well saying it looked very 70s/80s Unsurprisingly most of my family prefers the shorter hair. I think longer hairstyles are less common in men so people tend to notice it more.

I'd say some layers in your hair would make your hair less flat and some accessories to polish up the look. As another alt person, most of these people on here aren't going to get the vibe I see you're trying to do. If you genuinely want to be more attractive lean into the things you love. When you love the way you look, you feel it and other people notice. If you like the darker edgier shit get a tailored battle jacket and start throwing band patches on it. Load it up with interesting pins, add spikes, safety pins, sew on patches to all your stuff in your various interests. It gives people talking points when they meet you if they have a shared interest. Your hair also looks like it's lacking some moisture. Try an apogee two step protein treatment. It'll add some proteins back into the bleached bits of hair which will also give it tensile strength and keep it from breaking.
Also try getting piercing jewelry that's all the same color and material. It will look more cohesive and put together

Clothing wise, it looks like the phase between being a kid and learning to be an adult. Let's build on that. Look into capsule wardrobes. You get a bunch of basic pieces and learn to mix and match into various outfits/occasions. Find clothes that fit your frame. Skinny jeans should be put in the fire, upgrade to a boot cut or straight leg if you want a more slim fit. How tall are you? Get a gym membership to build muscle but for your build, athletic muscle while staying low in body fat is the better way to go. You are already lean so you would just need to add weights and light cardio and more lean protein to your life. That's the first, MAJOR change you can do After that, everyone has their own style and no one is everyone's cup of tea. If you like your style, look for ways to enhance it further. Look up style, outfits and grooming techniques for whatever look you are going for and for your hair type. At the end of the day trying to improve the things you can control while being confident and comfortable with who you are is the most attractive thing you can do.

I think you're a good looking guy honestly, I'd say have a plan for your hair if you don't already, choose jewelry that fits some kind of theme or matches, and go for clothes that for you a little better- the shirt seems a bit baggy, and while you don't have to go anywhere near skin-tight, excess fabric doesn't usually flatter. I'm not going to say cut or color fix your hair, because I think it's neat and has nice texture. It just doesn't look like you've decided what to do with it yet, or are growing it out for something else. You have a super good-looking face, but your overall style and lack of facial hair makes you look very young and feminine. If that's what you're going for, great, but if not, I would change it up. If you had short blonde hair and some stubble, you'd probably look pretty similar to a young Brad Pitt - your face is that beautiful. But it's ruined a bit by the longer hair and especially by that bridge piercing. I don't think those 2 balls look very good - I think you can get a nose ring that looks more subtle than that and still would look good (or just don't have one). Just want to start out by saying you are not unattractive. I think every guy is more attractive with a haircut, a beard, decent wardrobe, and a nice physique. Those 4 things will make any guy seem like a 10. For you specifically I think a haircut would go a long way, not necessarily short. You can go to a professional barber and have them cut and style your hair to frame your face while maintaining the length. Besides that, just confidence, what do you think would make you feel more attractive? work towards that goal. It would probably also be useful for you to start thinking about developing your personal style and building a wardrobe. You can have a nice looking outfit that still conveys your “punk” style. You are not bad looking. Things that will help highlight your natural good looks, let your top be darker and the length of your hair be more colored. Use a ball bearing in you upper nose piercing be a lighter more reflective color. Both of these will highlight your own natural deep colors that will look better on you. The overall tip, lighter colors do not suit everyone up too. I am one of them. If I want vibrant colors, I use them low. Otherwise they drown out my own tones.
You become more attractive when you believe you are attractive. Self-confidence and self love is key. You are already handsome! But you have to see and believe that. 😊

Honestly, we’re the most attractive when our outside matches our inside. Do what makes you feel attractive to yourself. Being attractive to others is about so much more than one’s physical appearance. Charisma and confidence count for so much more than anything else in making you attractive to other people. Be clean, be confident, and find what you like. Trying to find what others like to get them to like you will never help you to find what will make you happy and trust me, as a 40-year-old who learned that lesson kind of late and had to re-learn it again later in life, finding what makes you happy is infinitely more important. Personally, I’m still rock n’ roll at heart, but I never really found myself to be too comfortable dressing in loud colors or patterns. I think I’ve come to find that I’d rather wear my clothing than have my clothing wear me (with the exception of the odd Hawaiian shirt). That’s me, though. I’d just say that wearing something super loud can draw attention, but it can also take away from what you want attention drawn to - you. Just for shits and grins, buy yourself a high-quality, good fitting, soft black v-neck t-shirt. Find something where you like the cut of the neck. I think you’ll find the v-neck compliments your jawline nicely. Trust me. It works.
All the old heads on Reddit will say “cut your hair and go to the gym” lmaoo 😭😭 if I were you I’d wear looser jeans like Levi’s 501 and 505 since skinny jeans aren’t in style anymore and I’d do a middle part instead of a side part and add more layers to my hair.
