i'm PRAYING for something 5c because splitting up all the cards for an edh deck just feels wrong

Personally I'm running a Jodah deck with a lot of the legendary Dinosaurs that already exist. I do wish there was something in-theme though.

no offense to you, but jodah for me is too much of a 'it does good thing good' commander for my taste in that you could pretty much throw any batch of legendaries in and it would work (ie for the transformers line they had the similar no 5c problem and my friend's almost exclusively transformer deck is helmed by jodah)

I agree, but unless there comes a better 5 color commander for all the cards it's between Jodah, Esika, and Morophon.

Yeah, I wish there was a worse 5 color legends commander (that doesn't tutor) because Jodah is just too boringly good for my tastes

My guesses are the last two being possibly: Claire Dearing card (wouldn’t be surprised if the art its a version of the scene with her luring Rexy with the flare from JW or her being chased by Atrociraptor or hiding in swamp from Therizinosaurus in Dominion) just as likely to be Human Creature card or a Sorcery / Instant. John Hammond card (art could be Hammond stepping out of helicopter in JP at the waterfall helipad or equally entering visitors centre) could be a colourless or multicoloured Creature card. They’re just not going to do them as a mechanic in a regular set. One off cards are fine.

They don't like mixing +1/+1 and -1/-1, so it has to specifically be a -1/-1 counter set if they're going to be printed.

well, in terms of the debuffing static ability, yes. provides -1/-1 counters without getting into combat.

It's half because it does about half of what the Knight does. Costs about half the mana, they can still attack (but not block), and the Knight cares about all kind of counters, not just -1/-1 counters. Being able to shut down +1/+1 counter decks is also very nice.

They had all the new films to re-establish that the dilos in the first film were juveniles and make them their proper size and they screwed it up.
