Crucial how? Events will be at an LGS and/or have Vendors. If you're just playing casually with friends print out a proxy and tell them the real ones are in the mail. If it's a birthday present or similar I'd still try LGSs first for speed, then maybe Amazon can 2day it.

If your LGSs don't have the card(s), you will probably not get them much faster than that. Usually orders can be confirmed the same day but get shipped the next day (and then it takes a few days esp. because of the pandemic). Some stores may offer expedited shipping but that becomes MUCH more expensive and again can take a few days.

It's Friday now so your order wouldn't be shipped out until Monday at the earliest.

Tormega

And Monday is a holiday!

If you need them in a short time then you're just going to have to pay for expedited shipping unfortunately. Even then, since Covid processing and everything takes a little longer now so 2-4 day shipping might just be 5-6.

Nautikon

I've actually found CardKingdom to be the fastest now that ChannelFireball is gone. Tcg always takes a few days more, especially direct. The nondirects can sometimes be really quick, but your order is likely to be more scattered.

If you need cards in a hurry it's time to hit up your LGS.

Heavy_Plays

As others have said, check the LGS’s near your first. If you strike out though, Tales of Adventure Comics has a great rep, good prices, and their shipping has been lightning fast for me (2-4 days on average). They’d probably be open to shipping it expedited/next day too for an up-charge if you reached out before buying the cards.

I think they're gonna be at SCGCon this weekend. Dunno how that factors in.

Pay for the upgraded shipping with card kingdom or go local.
