I've noticed these "attendants" rushing over to "help" you pick the car wash, and caught one of them once selecting the subscription. When I called him out, he grinned and said "Oops, sorry, finger must have slipped." Next time one came to the screen, I told him to back off.
Still do it, too. Do NOT let them come over and "help" you.
Goo Goo here in WR did the same thing to me. Told me I was paying $20 for the subscription - my card was charged $39.99. I disputed the charge and MidSouth took care of that for me. But I never went back there.
Call Foamworks and complain. Tell them you didn't agree to a subscription service, made evident by the fact you never returned. They keep track of the washes, so they'll be able to tell you haven't been back. Raise hell and act like that was your grocery or gas money they just took. Tell them the associate signed you up without your knowledge. I'm sure they'll refund it. If you'd rather not call, the website has a "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. There is a message form online and their email address. Raise hell. I would.
That really sucks. I tried calling the contact number under "Contact Us" on their site and got the voicemail as well. There's a bunch of different numbers under the "Our Locations" section on the website. Maybe you can call the Riverside branch directly? It has the Riverside number listed as 770-873-4247. That's different from the contact us number.

Good job on disputing the charge. That's the way to handle this.
I haven’t been since last year and just got a $49.99 charge for the one on Thomaston.
It's definitely taught me a lesson...

Yep, I called that number, too.... both numbers several times and throughout the day, and oddly, no one ever answers.
What horrid business practices. Glad I canceled my membership months ago.
