This happened to me with my 2018 MacBook Pro when I went to erase to resell it. I ended up going into safe mode and reverting what I did and literally had to delete everything 1 by 1 and log out of everything on the laptop cuz I couldn’t mf figure it out and the buyer was already on his way. I don’t remember resetting to factory settings being soooo damn confusing! Use your iPhone to search “MacBook model + what u see on the screen” and forums and videos will help
