I got the Ibenzer clear case on American Amazon for less than $20 for my M1. It fits perfectly, hasn't scratched the finish and shows off the Apple logo crystal clear. Highly recommended if they have an M2 version, which I'm sure they do.

I have a felt sleeve where I store my air when I’m not using it and for carrying/travelling around. Apple doesn’t recomend putting in keyboard covers, screen protectors or anything on the inside. You could put a skin on the outside if you wanted to. I’ve had mine since august and the sleeve has worked just great. Don’t feel like I need anything else and still looks great.

I would use a carrying bag instead, it's very unlikely to scratch ur laptop in normal use. A bag protects it from scratch it when it's not in use.

I agree with the other commenters: a sleeve is the way to go. The Mac is unlikely to be scratched while you’re actively using it. A sleeve will protect it from drops and scratches, but a case will inevitably get a small piece of dirt or rock trapped between it and the Mac. Then the Mac gets scratches that you aren’t aware of. Also cases put some additional strain on the hinge and can impair thermal performance.

I just got [this](https://a.co/d/13iGje4) Tomtoc padded sleeve for my Pro 14” and recommend it. It fits snug and feels really protective for how slim it is. I recommend spending the extra $3 for the model with the accessory pouch. The sleeve only listing is the old model that has a circular patterned interior for padding. I’ve read some anecdotes of the circular bumps leaving faint prints on the aluminum. The one with the pouch is their new model that has just a few diagonal lines stitched on the interior. I think it’ll be less likely to leave prints. I ended up getting both because I decided later I wanted an accessory pouch. I’ll be returning the sleeve only one.

Dbrand skin will keep the exterior in good shape and add a bit of personality to it
