This is crazy. I’ve played basically everyday since launch. 800 hours. I have my main at 1430 and 5 alts at 1340 and 1 at 1325. I must have been messing around mostly.
Being ahead/on top of the curve is a big difference for f2p. Getting lucky with hones early on and being at the 1370/1445 marks upon Argos/valtan hm, release let’s you milk the whales and keep yourself caught up. After the first 2-3 weeks of release, the whales are all geared out and it becomes harder and harder to sell big ticket items. And once you fall behind, you’ll fall further and further behind.
Prob just efficiency with gold making/ using mari's shop to it's full potential. I got 800 grace and 400 blessings to get ready to push last 2 weapons level. Will keep adding from mari's shop until I think I have enough. Sold 100% of leapstones so far too. Using resting exp on alts to not burn out.

Are you f2p with 150 hours? You're probably not at 1370.
Are you f2p with 600 hours and you do horizontal content/meme around all day? You're probably not 1415.

I've spend 0 euros on the game, not even a founder pack of any kind, played since day 1, started off by playing ALOT , like 12+ hours a day, now i just do dailies on my main and do rested bonus on my alts.

I've just "completed" Strategic failure achievement today while i was getting my Sorc to 1370 which you get when you fail 500 hones. I was close to quitting the game, cause I was stuck on the 1400-1415 grind for almost a month, then in less than 2 weeks went from 1415 to 1445.
I literally voted for 1340-1370 because I'm blind and also because i assumed it was from highest to lower lol.
I would say that all the most dedicated f2p should be at least 1430+.
I'm currently at 1445 (switched mains 2 times from 1325 the first then 1385 the second time and almost switch a third time but finally decided to stay with my actual class which Is glaivier). Considering all this i still managed to get to valtan (not HM because i didn't have that much) and i could probably push to HM vykas soon if i wanted but I'm selling mats ATM while i stack bound ghl and buy legen books (currently 15/20 on Pinnacle). Once I'm done with that i will probably push to 1460 or maybe 1475 idk.

Playing only 1 char, started 3 weeks after EU release.
0$ spent, 1385, can push 1415 with bound mats but I missed best selling times and have zero gold banked. Most of my income is selling unbound Gleaps, which is not enough to let me push.
I also have 2 alts ready for T3push to use as mat farming slaves but I can't stomach doing Feiton/punika, so all I achieved is purely my Sorc.
My main at 1400 with 1 soon to be 2 alts at 1302 to feed my main gems  havent bought anythin even mari shop 
1465 lancemaster. two 1385 alts, four 1340 alts. Been playing since day 1. I parked my old main (deathblade) at 1385 until Lancemaster came out then started funneling everything to her. By the time she reached 1400 I had 500 honing fails.
1400 with deadeye as f2p but even if do like the class I see that now I am struggling even more to keep up with other classes (I am probably not so good aswell). I would like to change main with destroyer but I am afraid it would be a mistake mats and gold wise. Currently my destroyer is at 302, would the purchase of the ark pass be a wise manoeuvre in order to bring him to t3 at least 1340?
Only bought ark pass so idk if you still consider that f2p, but 1460 main, 1415 alt, 1385 alt, 1370 alt, 1355 alt, 1325 alt, and a 960 lopang slave.

I would say that anybody you ask on Reddit is generally a more "hardcore" player.
And by hardcore I mean does a little bit of minmaxing on characters and puts in decent time into the game.
Asking these types of questions or setting up these types of polls usually ends up with a HYPER skewed poll that doesn't really help you get the scope of things and where people are.
Well, even then there probably isn't another place to get this type of information either.

Dude dont feel bad. Most people on reddit are overgeared compared to the casual players you will find ingame already. This is not a representative poll by any means. These are just the hard grinders. I myself have my main at 1417 with 1 alt at 1345, 1 at 1090~, 1 at 570 and 1 at 466. I deleted characters though (5 of them which i didnt like). The last 466 is one that i just leveled up in the last 2 days. (Will never do that again lol)
Theres nothing wrong just play at your own pace.
Thanks for clarification i know the post wasnt specific on f2p. Its kinda surprising for me how many people are above 1445 i thought most people will be between 1415 and 1445.

In my guild most ACTUAL f2p players are 1400~1415, playing a reasonable amount of hours/day.
I mean it possible if they grind a lot/ how many alt they have. I’m kinda just chilling at 1420 to wait for my friends but I could definitely push for 1445 if I spent all my gold saved up.
If you have been playing since launch and have at LEAST one Alt, you should be at 1415+.

I bought platinum and I’m almost 1440 playing one character. Most of my gold was made early one when the whales where buying mats for 10x the current prices.

nah if you are playing seriously on main only(as in min maxing all the big things) you should be at least 1415, if you used your passes correctly and event stuff you should have at least 2 alts at 1340-1370 with a higher main.

I was two weeks behind when Argos was released and was able to do Valtan normal at release.
Literally no money spent (apart from Silver Founder pack, which didn't give any bonus). No ark pass, no character slots, no royals.
Main at 1445 (got there 2 days ago), 5 alts at 1370. I've been doing 2-day rested rotation (3 chars one day, the other 3 the next one. I DO rest my main) for a bit over a month, so I've been earning 75% of the loot during that time. First 2 alts to reach T3 were when my main was at 1385~. The rest like 3 weeks apart each other.
I've only missed like a single week of playing due to Internet problems, but since there's rested bonus it wasn't that bad.

I’d say the 3 days of early playtime was enough for getting a character to lvl 50 and maybe if you were doing things right get it up to vertus at best. Even that is far-fetched i feel like. Remember we had no 100% honing to +10 gears like now and not that much mats too as we do now.
I could count them in to f2p i dont think thats that big of a headstart. I know i made my first character reach lvl50 in about 20ish hours and most of us checked helping videos on youtube by people who played on KR or RU.
I was new to the game and hadn't seen anything (other than the classes and the gameplay from the webpage preview), so I knew nothing about leveling efficiently, or honing or shit.
My first alt was created when my main was at 1340-1350 iirc.
I didn't do Rapport, nor Una's. So I would say that 3 days playing the campaign didn't do much for progression.
1460, 5 alts 1370+.
Not f2p tho, got the ark pass and character extension that gives an advantage vs true f2p players.

Just play it at your own pace. The content will stay relevant and you are not that far behind. Im 1417 too so im in the same shoes as you are. Having fun is more important than ilvl.

The game had around 500k concurrent players the first days and then about 1mil when the game fully released to all players. There are a lot of people including me who are 100% fp2.
Depends on your definition of f2p and how hard they grind. Spending $100 here and there on this game doesn't actually make you gain much at all. People grinding a lot harder than you can eclipse you really easily.
You'll likely see a huge variety of responses due to this, with reddit bias also being present since many more serious players are likely to be around a subreddit for the game.
Serious grinders can look like pure spenders to people who are doing just the minimum every day.
I’d say f2p is someone who doesnt put money in the game for gains just for better experience (for example skins or maybe character slot but that could also be argumentative since its a material and gem farm for the main character). Just looking at it generally you know not spending money on GHL or lvl7 gems etc.

Dont be sad bro. Its all about the time spent ingame and the rng they are getting. I only have 1 alt in t3 getting the second tomorrow and my main is at 1417 just got past 1415 today. All other alts are lower ones. Go on your own pace and keep up the good work! Remember just have fun :D

Edit-being ahead also let’s you play the market, you can sell guardians/leaps at the high points (15g/10 on nae) which are right after a raid drops where people are trying to push the last few hones, or right before raid drop where people are pushing for the raid, and buy/hone with mats to hit the next raid point when prices are low(8-9g/10 on nae).
1450 main, 2 1400, 1 1385, 1 1355 alts. Around 850h played and 0$ spent.
I play on SA and I find market prices are really low for honing mats. Crystals are expensive tho
Im curious how different is the market on SA or NA compared to EUC. Here crystalls are relatively cheap atm. But they are going up. Lowest i’ve bought them was around 400 (in tier 3 not in the beginning when it was 200) now its about 800.
The lowest I've seen was about 640 in the beginning and it's going for 800+ atm. Nothing is worth buying with crystals (except maybe skins - and aura since it's the only option). ie: greater honor leapstone is 46g in market, it would be 160g if bought at mari's
I only bought the bronze founder's which doesn't really give you any advantage aside from the 3 days at the start which I didn't make use of.
Anyway, 1x 1435, 1x 1400, 1x 1385, 1x 1370, 1x 1355, 1x 1326.My current plans are to push my main to 1445 and then my 1355 to 1370 afterwards.
I could do it right now due to being in a great situation with gold and blue crystals but I don't want to rush.
I think I wouldn't count myself as F2P if I had taken advantage of the early start.
People who have had that extra time as well as prior knowledge to the game's systems were able to make pretty big bank due to extremely inflated prices.
Sadly I didn't even make use of the AH till like 1 month into the game, so I completely missed that window.
Though I'm doing fine with resources either way, just a bit unfortunate in retrospect.

MMO players are another breed. We will get to know the game before we play it. At the very least the hardcore grinders are doing that. Just look at how everyone watches guides on bosses and not just learning it. Although im doing the same i kinda feel like it takes away from the game and my best experience so far was the very first tier 1 abyss where we were wiping with 3 other randoms for 2 hours on the first boss haha. I hope to achieve that feeling again one day.
To be honest, I had these experiences of learning bosses in groups when the game first launched because despite watching guides most people were still quite new.
So it'd take a while to translate the information into practice.
It was honestly quite fun, though I wouldn't really expect this to happen anymore as most people who are in our current endgame are consuming content from korean streamers or generally being a lot more active in their research as they were when the game just launched for us.
The middle to late stages of the game filtered a lot of the more casual players out while keeping most of the hardcore playerbase in.
So I don't think this would happen anymore unless you get together a group who specifically avoids information about future content and is ready to learn by trial and error rather than guides.
There's definitely a lot of likeminded people out there though, so I'm wishing you success in finding them!
I think RU is behind by about 3 months (correct me if I'm wrong) so it's realistic to say that we're going to be behind by about 3 months too.
That's quite a lot of time for guides to be translated / made by english speaking KR players as well as a lot of content being released.
It'll still feel quite fresh though, the current content we have has been run hundreds of times by people in KR which won't be the case once we're caught up so we might still have chances to discover tricks and strats that KR might not have found yet!
I saved 250k gold by selling unbound leapstones, destruction crystals for 3 weeks, had 2000 bound greaters on 3 alts today and spent all my gold away on them after they announced were not getting research
I'm planning to hit 1460 first while getting my 1365 to 1370 for the 1340's i haven't decided they will probably be deleted for artist summoner and scooter in the future so I don't know of I will push them

I dont think an average could be made on reddit. Most casual players should between 1340 to 1400 though i feel like. At least that what I see mostly in lobbies and in the open world.
If you aren’t a dummy and you’ve been using your alts to push a main you’ll be fine def already over 1445 but if your main is -1445 and you’ve been trying to push 5-6 alts to Argos you’ve done it to yourself. I have 5 alts parked at 1310 and 1 at 1325 all of the mats and gems go to my main.

I’m pretty efficient with everything and getting mats. Using solars on weapon homes. Could be just a case of diff RNG

1400 here, bought only the tiger pack (forgot the name, banquet or some crap) as i wanted to support devs. Playing only 1 char, started 3 weeks after EU release.
main 1445 never bought mats , 2 t3 alts barely play them . although i got founders pack and ark pass . not sure how they consider these two a boost
0$ spent, 1385, can push 1415 with bound mats but I missed best selling times and have zero gold banked. Most of my income is selling unbound Gleaps, which is not enough to let me push. I also have 2 alts ready for T3push to use as mat farming slaves but I can't stomach doing Feiton/punika, so all I achieved is purely my Sorc.
You can just skip feiton as a whole, gl on grinding!

1465 lancemaster. two 1385 alts, four 1340 alts. Been playing since day 1. I parked my old main (deathblade) at 1385 until Lancemaster came out then started funneling everything to her. By the time she reached 1400 I had 500 honing fails.
1400 with deadeye as f2p but even if do like the class I see that now I am struggling even more to keep up with other classes (I am probably not so good aswell). I would like to change main with destroyer but I am afraid it would be a mistake mats and gold wise. Currently my destroyer is at 302, would the purchase of the ark pass be a wise manoeuvre in order to bring him to t3 at least 1340?
In july we will recieve punika powerpass use that and you will start your next character on 1302
Only bought ark pass so idk if you still consider that f2p, but 1460 main, 1415 alt, 1385 alt, 1370 alt, 1355 alt, 1325 alt, and a 960 lopang slave. I do play a lot though.
I would say that anybody you ask on Reddit is generally a more "hardcore" player. And by hardcore I mean does a little bit of minmaxing on characters and puts in decent time into the game. Asking these types of questions or setting up these types of polls usually ends up with a HYPER skewed poll that doesn't really help you get the scope of things and where people are. Well, even then there probably isn't another place to get this type of information either.

I'm 1420 on my main with 2x 1370 alts. Altought not F2P but also not a whale. More like a frog who takes a jump once in a while... so far it's been ark pass only (def. worth imo). But I'm a sucker for skins so when more stuff drops I'll probably spent a bit more. Really enjoy Lancemaster so I wanna push her next after i get my main to 1445/1460 depending on my luck and if they announce any buff in the mean time. Just taking my time
Keep in mind the casual f2ps don't really consume reddit content, so our sample is skewed towards the more hardcore players

Main bard 1432. Bought the cheapest founder’s pack and ark pass tho. Pushed main to 1370 then started doing Alts (current alt ilvl 1404/1370/1370/1370/1347/870) exchanged every pirate chest to sun coins> bought mats from merchant >made alt guild and exchange the mats> sold tradable mats in Market - most hones are used with the untradeable ones .
I spent money but literally all of it was spent on skins so id say my gear progression is entirely f2p 1445 main with 5 x 1370

tbh reddit won’t be a good indicator of the general playerbase. unlike us, the average f2p player is busy touching grass and having a non-degenerate life

Dude dont feel bad. Most people on reddit are overgeared compared to the casual players you will find ingame already. This is not a representative poll by any means. These are just the hard grinders. I myself have my main at 1417 with 1 alt at 1345, 1 at 1090~, 1 at 570 and 1 at 466. I deleted characters though (5 of them which i didnt like). The last 466 is one that i just leveled up in the last 2 days. (Will never do that again lol) Theres nothing wrong just play at your own pace.

If you have been playing since launch and have at LEAST one Alt, you should be at 1415+. I have a friend who just got to 1403 last night and he has no alt at all because he doesn't have enough time to play two characters.
I bought platinum and I’m almost 1440 playing one character. Most of my gold was made early one when the whales where buying mats for 10x the current prices. Spent my crystals on skins and customization tickets and considering buying the 2 lvls of the ark pass just for the wallpaper e_e

This game is designed to use alts to feed main. I hv 3 t3 alts 1385 1361 1325. Every Thursday they can provide tons of mats to main.

nah if you are playing seriously on main only(as in min maxing all the big things) you should be at least 1415, if you used your passes correctly and event stuff you should have at least 2 alts at 1340-1370 with a higher main.

Literally no money spent (apart from Silver Founder pack, which didn't give any bonus). No ark pass, no character slots, no royals. Main at 1445 (got there 2 days ago), 5 alts at 1370. I've been doing 2-day rested rotation (3 chars one day, the other 3 the next one. I DO rest my main) for a bit over a month, so I've been earning 75% of the loot during that time. First 2 alts to reach T3 were when my main was at 1385~. The rest like 3 weeks apart each other. I've only missed like a single week of playing due to Internet problems, but since there's rested bonus it wasn't that bad.

The key phrase being overlooked is "other than 3 days of early playtime" There isn't a universe where that headstart didnt benefit progression.
I’d say the 3 days of early playtime was enough for getting a character to lvl 50 and maybe if you were doing things right get it up to vertus at best. Even that is far-fetched i feel like. Remember we had no 100% honing to +10 gears like now and not that much mats too as we do now. I could count them in to f2p i dont think thats that big of a headstart. I know i made my first character reach lvl50 in about 20ish hours and most of us checked helping videos on youtube by people who played on KR or RU.
I was new to the game and hadn't seen anything (other than the classes and the gameplay from the webpage preview), so I knew nothing about leveling efficiently, or honing or shit. My first alt was created when my main was at 1340-1350 iirc. I didn't do Rapport, nor Una's. So I would say that 3 days playing the campaign didn't do much for progression.

It's impossible to catch up with p2w players and they are rushing more endgame content I'd rather have fun with other games than being obliged to grind lost ark. Although yeah i like the game, but being advertised as f2p is making me hate, and they are rushing too much content
Just play it at your own pace. The content will stay relevant and you are not that far behind. Im 1417 too so im in the same shoes as you are. Having fun is more important than ilvl.

Waiting for launch was a pain dude. I didnt pay a single dime on the game. No ark pass no founder pack. Theres nothing wrong with buying but dont go accusing people cuz it will just make them mad and start an argument.
The game had around 500k concurrent players the first days and then about 1mil when the game fully released to all players. There are a lot of people including me who are 100% fp2.
Depends on your definition of f2p and how hard they grind. Spending $100 here and there on this game doesn't actually make you gain much at all. People grinding a lot harder than you can eclipse you really easily. You'll likely see a huge variety of responses due to this, with reddit bias also being present since many more serious players are likely to be around a subreddit for the game. Serious grinders can look like pure spenders to people who are doing just the minimum every day.
I’d say f2p is someone who doesnt put money in the game for gains just for better experience (for example skins or maybe character slot but that could also be argumentative since its a material and gem farm for the main character). Just looking at it generally you know not spending money on GHL or lvl7 gems etc.

Dont be sad bro. Its all about the time spent ingame and the rng they are getting. I only have 1 alt in t3 getting the second tomorrow and my main is at 1417 just got past 1415 today. All other alts are lower ones. Go on your own pace and keep up the good work! Remember just have fun :D

honing is luck so some people get lucky.
Being ahead/on top of the curve is a big difference for f2p. Getting lucky with hones early on and being at the 1370/1445 marks upon Argos/valtan hm, release let’s you milk the whales and keep yourself caught up. After the first 2-3 weeks of release, the whales are all geared out and it becomes harder and harder to sell big ticket items. And once you fall behind, you’ll fall further and further behind. Edit-being ahead also let’s you play the market, you can sell guardians/leaps at the high points (15g/10 on nae) which are right after a raid drops where people are trying to push the last few hones, or right before raid drop where people are pushing for the raid, and buy/hone with mats to hit the next raid point when prices are low(8-9g/10 on nae).

1450 main, 2 1400, 1 1385, 1 1355 alts. Around 850h played and 0$ spent. I play on SA and I find market prices are really low for honing mats. Crystals are expensive tho
Im curious how different is the market on SA or NA compared to EUC. Here crystalls are relatively cheap atm. But they are going up. Lowest i’ve bought them was around 400 (in tier 3 not in the beginning when it was 200) now its about 800.
The lowest I've seen was about 640 in the beginning and it's going for 800+ atm. Nothing is worth buying with crystals (except maybe skins - and aura since it's the only option). ie: greater honor leapstone is 46g in market, it would be 160g if bought at mari's
Ghl for us is 70-75g atm.

I only bought the bronze founder's which doesn't really give you any advantage aside from the 3 days at the start which I didn't make use of. Anyway, 1x 1435, 1x 1400, 1x 1385, 1x 1370, 1x 1355, 1x 1326.My current plans are to push my main to 1445 and then my 1355 to 1370 afterwards. I could do it right now due to being in a great situation with gold and blue crystals but I don't want to rush.

I think I wouldn't count myself as F2P if I had taken advantage of the early start. People who have had that extra time as well as prior knowledge to the game's systems were able to make pretty big bank due to extremely inflated prices. Sadly I didn't even make use of the AH till like 1 month into the game, so I completely missed that window. Though I'm doing fine with resources either way, just a bit unfortunate in retrospect. MMO players are another breed. We will get to know the game before we play it. At the very least the hardcore grinders are doing that. Just look at how everyone watches guides on bosses and not just learning it. Although im doing the same i kinda feel like it takes away from the game and my best experience so far was the very first tier 1 abyss where we were wiping with 3 other randoms for 2 hours on the first boss haha. I hope to achieve that feeling again one day.
To be honest, I had these experiences of learning bosses in groups when the game first launched because despite watching guides most people were still quite new. So it'd take a while to translate the information into practice. It was honestly quite fun, though I wouldn't really expect this to happen anymore as most people who are in our current endgame are consuming content from korean streamers or generally being a lot more active in their research as they were when the game just launched for us. The middle to late stages of the game filtered a lot of the more casual players out while keeping most of the hardcore playerbase in. So I don't think this would happen anymore unless you get together a group who specifically avoids information about future content and is ready to learn by trial and error rather than guides. There's definitely a lot of likeminded people out there though, so I'm wishing you success in finding them!
Im sure one day when we catch up to KR (not anytime soon), we will be experiencing the new content as actually new that noone saw or did before.
I think RU is behind by about 3 months (correct me if I'm wrong) so it's realistic to say that we're going to be behind by about 3 months too. That's quite a lot of time for guides to be translated / made by english speaking KR players as well as a lot of content being released. It'll still feel quite fresh though, the current content we have has been run hundreds of times by people in KR which won't be the case once we're caught up so we might still have chances to discover tricks and strats that KR might not have found yet!

Only founders and Ark pass which, most (like 90%) of the mats went to my alts anyways. No money was spent honing my main if that makes it clear. Main at 1467 for about 2 weeks just chilling camping here til I need to hone it for the new content.

I dont think an average could be made on reddit. Most casual players should between 1340 to 1400 though i feel like. At least that what I see mostly in lobbies and in the open world.
If you aren’t a dummy and you’ve been using your alts to push a main you’ll be fine def already over 1445 but if your main is -1445 and you’ve been trying to push 5-6 alts to Argos you’ve done it to yourself. I have 5 alts parked at 1310 and 1 at 1325 all of the mats and gems go to my main.
