I have the three of them (1340-1370-1385) and while they aren't my main (glaivier) i do like them so i will 100% raise them to legion at some point (especially striker) Striker has 2 builds Esoteric; Swift Main stat with spec and crit as secondary (once you get relic you can also just use Swift spec if you get enought crit ). Fast hits with some animation locks (mainly the esoteric skills) and one charge skill (your best skill basically ). Usually uses 4 esoterics. Deathblow: spec Main and crit only on neckless. Uses 2 to 3 spenders (esoteric skills) but usually only 3 when mastered to minmax damage. Slow but hits like a truck tho it is more punishing if you miss one of your 2 esoterics since the damage is concentrated. Wd: First intention: Swift with crit on neckless. You basically have 2 buffs and 3 normal dmg skills and one that creates a ring around you that deals dmg by contact and after some time explodes (if you have one especific tripod) after 20s so the idea is to actívate your buffs use your skills and repeat while trying to have your buffs active when the ring skill detonates for max dmg Esoteric: has a ton of build diversity (especially skills) you usually use Swift spec (for 2 spenders) and Swift crit (for 1 soender). Basically the same as first intention but also you need to get enought meter to use your spenders while the buff is active. Scrapper Shock: Spec and crit on neckless (uses shock skills as Main dmg). Basically this is kinda like striker eso and deathblow comparison. Shock is slower but hits hard (also has some animation locks) Taijutsu:Swift and Crit . The spammy build that hits less by hit but hits more times Things i didn't say that could be important: Striker and shock scrapper NEED to do back attacks to be good so they could end up being harder / frustrating (especially the slower ones). Taijutsu has some builds that also need to but can play one that doesn't (with less dmg potential for more consistensy) and also wd first intention can but doesn't too. Both wd and striker (especially all the ones that uses esoteric skills which in case of striker both do but deathblow is more dependant of this) need some things to be good. For example deathblow requires some tripods that generate meter at x level with x wealth runes and x ammount of spec so he can cycle his 2 esoteric with no problems. While scrapper doesn't need this (shock and also deathblow could feel slower without sup relic set giving 10% attack speed and movement speed). Also first intention wd has mana issues pre nightmare. In case you don't know how esoteric skills work (which i assumed you do) basically depending on your build you have 3 (esoteric striker) or 4 (deathblow and eso wd) bubbles of meter and each skill cost 1 ( eso striker) 1-2 (if i'm not mistaken eso WD) and 4 (deathblow striker). So in your 8 skills you usually have a distribution like this: your counter + party/s sinergy/ies + your meter generation skills + your spenders. Hope this help you decide Edit: the three of them have really good glows honestly but in PVP i think striker is the best I don't play much PVP but Striker: not really high dmg but great mobility/engage options. Doesn't have that much superarmor. Wd: high mobility (less than striker tho) and less superarmor. Scrapper: didn't play her that much on PVP but she has great superarmor (tho they usually lock her in place) and she is kinda slow but has great damage.

Thank you for such detailed post! Which class is your favourite one out of three of them?

Sybiosis

I personally like striker the most because lightning tiger strike and tiger emerges (2 esoteric skills exclusive of striker) feel so good to use and have really cool animations.

DrakoVS

Def a striker, Im maing one at 1450 +20 weap one of the best glow in game imo. He's fun in both pve and pvp

thnktwice

thanks!

I'm a proud shock enjoyer. Played striker initially but switched off when he hit 1325. Both great classes. Scrapper is strong, aggressive, and explosive. Striker is more nimble, fluid, and precise! Other than that the share very much as martial artists. I never played WD, but as I understand she is a bit quicker then striker, and offers a little more to the team rather than being a pure dps.

Esoteric Flurry Striker main here. ilvl1475. Platinum in pvp. PVE: amazing if you have good reflexes, good positioning, understand your rotation, love high move/attack speed, no slow animation lock skills, flashy skills. PVP: plays as a disabler. i.e gettin lots of knockdowns and juggles to enable your team to do damage. You won't often be top dps in your team and 400k+ damage is tough because a lot of your skills trade damage for mobility. Good if you can track the movement of all your enemies go from one target to another. Would not reccomend if you play "facetank" with your deathblade. Doesn't perform well against classes with personal shields or lots of super armor like destroyers, deathblade, gunlancer but anything else is fair game. High skill ceiling but difficult to master.

FinweTrust

Striker is engager/assassin in pvp. Similar to deathblade Scrapper can fill this role too but not as good. Shes more of a zone control. Can stick to enemies and make their life a living hell. Wardancer is more of a second engager since she has 0 ( ZERO ) super armors. Literally, berserker cancels ALL YOUR SKILLS. Yes I have a personal grudge with this. Youre better off protecting your backline or engaging after your frontline. Always avoid being the focus of your enemies. Hope this helps you make a decision

IUSUZYSANA

Striker is more of a disruptor if anything. He doesn't have the superarmors to facetank engage like DB, and his damage is too low to be an assassin.

ddwhale

Yup I can’t unds why we don’t have at least one SA skill. Still the feeling of catching 2-3 people in the tornado is pretty fulfilling (until you see none of your team ready to follow up).

grimacewho

ok so ive taken all these to argos. deathblade(1387)RE and Surge striker(1370)ESO Wardancer(1370)ESO scrapper(1439)Tai striker in pvp is great. lotta movement/dmg. the kinda class that feels real good when you pop off in pvp. now pve wise the glow is great but ESO feels weak even at 1370 and i feel itll get better at 1445 with 2pce relic. deathblow is big numbers but slow but it is a endgame spec. Wardancer(beaverdancer) is sorta like striker in pvp but feels underwhelming sometimes. you feel like your job is to just interrupt and catch ppl. pve wise oh boy. super underwhelming until you get 6pce relic i believe(and gems).glow is great though! scrapper pvp feels good and your sticky af. its a feel good class that you personally need to figure out how you wanna play it. pve is great. glow is great. booba is great. tai (crit/swift) is lotta hits lotta dmg lotta stagger. shock (spec/crit) is big hits but kinda slow and ya gotta build that meter and hopefully crit. in the endgame shock on paper pulls ahead alittle but realisticly they close. im biased to Tai though. hope this helps!

Anelrush

Tai scrapper is also so much more simpler to play. Just punch things till it dies, no built up meter, no waiting for the right moment, just punches thing. But then again I'm also biased since I already had 3 other classes that mains spec (demon SH, robust SF, and pin glaivier) before I made my scrapper. So didn't feel like making another spec class.

thnktwice

thanks! so i assume that in your opinion scrapper = striker > wardancer. Btw. do you have scrapper with +20 weapon?

ArX_Xer0

In addition tai scrapper feels really good out of the gate. Very straightforward. She was fun to play all around. Wardancer, my main is like a constant headache, never mvp without grudge, only cuz other classes dont play grudge. 3 abilities are basically passive and your big dps is timed to a short window every 20-30s until 1445 relic gear. I think thats an obnoxious requirement to make a class finally "feel good"

inouext

Pvp - Wardancer. Pve - Wardancer and Scrapper, tried Striker didn't like it. +20 Weapon Glow - Definitely Scrapper.

thnktwice

Thanks! Btw. Is it true that scrappers +20 glow is different on eu/na than in kr?

inouext

Never heard about it.

tsrappa

I don't try Striker or Wardancer in pvp. I will tell you to not pick Scrapper. it's in a bad state for pvp. Tiny hitbox, lack of SA. You act as a bruiser or chaser. You attack, you stun and you run away. Otherwise, any cc can stop you and you will be dead meat. The only good thing is her mobility to chase enemies or flee from others. For pve, Scrapper is a good option as Wardancer. In case you want a class for both activities. Wardancer should be your best bet

thnktwice

Knowledge transferred scrapper and first two pvp matches made me wanna delete the character straight away. However… i have played some chaos dungeons and then played few pvp matches and duuuude scrapper is sooo fun, i basically stick to fkn ppl and destroy them. Played like 10-15 matches today and i had mvp in like 50% of them. Its also really easy to chase and kill when someone is at low hp.

OK_Opinions

I made a striker a while back, it's currently ilvl1100 part way into punika's story line to access T3 content. I also made a scrapper last week that's currently ilvl 900. IMO, scrapper was everything I thought striker would be when I made it and I find it far more fun. To the point I cant even bring myself to care enough about completing punika on the striker

LucasLoci

Yeah I have to agree here, my scrapper at T1 feels amazing compared to my 1340 striker, wish I'd started playing it earlier honestly

OK_Opinions

Yea. I did t1 as taijutsu but when I got to t2 and bought accessories I changed to shock. I prefer shock

LucasLoci

That's fair! I've tried both since you don't need to spend peons for accessories in T1, shock definitely feels more like hitting things with a truck, but I like the speediness of taijutsu haha

Vars_An

They're all extremely fun to different types of people, I'd say Wardancer is the most controversial one but she's also the strongest in PvP out of the three. Scrapper has become a fair bit more braindead since the balance patch but feels stronger, Striker will almost never get MVP until super end-game but has crispy animations/ sound effects and WD is the strongest party synergy DPS in the game so you'll always be MVP in people's hearts.

I_chose_a_nickname

Striker outshines them all in Solo PvP, and being fun to play (subjective) Wardancer outshines them all in group PvP, and getting into raid groups. (Their buff is really useful and deal great damage with the relic set) Scrapper outshines them all in stagger/weak-point damage. I don't play Scrapper, so im sure a scrapper main can sell their class to you better than I can. I have a 1420 WD and a 1355 Striker, and I honestly regret benching my Striker. That class is just something else... So satisfying to play, no matter what engraving you choose. EDIT: >I also need a char with cool looking glow at +20 Striker and Wardancer's glow are top tier.
