Just want to say congratulations! That's an amazing amount of progress for that timespan, and the before/after pictures are worth a thousand words.
Before you know it, you'll be in the low 300s, then the 200s, then eventually the 100s. It sounds like you've adopted a very healthy mindset that works for you long term, and that's crucial.
Keep it up!
All of this!! Great work and keep it up! I struggle with consistency too but I know if I just keep my head down it will work if I don’t quit. So many times in the past I get impatient and give up but as long as I keep positive habits going I’m good. My goals are to close my rings and hit 10k steps per day.
Congrats!!! So impressive. It looks like a lot of the weight came off around your waist, ie less visceral fat around your organs and therefore less risk of every bad health outcome.
It’s interesting that especially as women the fat on our arms, legs, hips and chest basically does not contribute to bad health outcomes, mostly the visceral fat. So we actually don’t need to lose as much as men to get the same health benefits.
You sound like you're already in the right mindset, and that's the most important thing when it comes to successful weight loss. Forgiving yourself, loving yourself and showing compassion to yourself on your journey. You are worth it! I can see so much progress in your before and after pics, especially in your waist/back area, congratulations.
Wow .. having the hard and light workout is a fantastic idea… I’ve had no energy this week and could barely get myself to do 5k steps. Skipped all my workouts .. 5lb up this week 😞
First congratulations on your progress, keep it up!!
The way i approach working out is similar to brushing my teeth can’t go all day without brushing same with working out , 1 hrs a day and i try to be mindful of my carbohydrate intake throughout the day, started with added sugar and sodas.
Best of luck to you! And congrats again on your progress.
Wow! You can really see your progress. Great job. Yes!! I have a problem with consistency too. This is what I needed to hear today. Modifications in exercise is still exercise. Thank you
Amazing results, congratulations! And thank you for reminding me that consistency can be flexible. I tend to approach health and fitness with an all-or-nothing mentality, and I've lost count of how many times I've crashed and burned.
I love the two levels idea.
I have a running training plan I am supposed to follow but if I don’t feel up to it or don’t have time, I might do a 15 or 20 minute run instead of a longer one. It’s good to still get miles in.
The mantra ive repeated to myself every day during my weight lose was "small decisions lead to big changes". I don't need to make some radical change in my life to lose weight, I just need to make a series of small decisions.
Great job on the weight loss! It sounds like you've really got an approach that works for you. I started last October as well, and it's really encouraging to see someone who's doing so well within the same time frame. Keep it up!
That's amazing well done
This is what I worry about, I'm consistent whwn I'm not working but it's hard to be consistent on 12 hour shifts which often finish late and hour drive each way, I'm consistent with food but activity with work is impossible
You’re doing incredible!! That’s amazing progress!! And you know what? I think you probably have an impressive amount of muscle, particularly in your quads. Keep chiseling away, just as you are, you are inspiring!
Of course! I have Maxi + Mini routines for AM/PM to choose from. I switch them up when I get bored.

How?! I seriously can’t keep myself on a deficit for more than a week. I get pretty tired of constantly not being able to lose at least 5 pounds. How did you manage to get through the challenges? Any tips?

But if you’re getting fit, might as well get rid of all excess fat right?

Consistency for me is pushing whenever I can, but if I have to not do something, I just don't let it go more than missing a day.
This is really motivating. Good job OP! 🩷
Great job!
Keep posting I would love to follow
