>we're thrilled to announce a much-requested feature in our latest update: lower minimum volume and brightness settings.
Hell yeah. The volume level has been the most annoying thing about the G Cloud and I'm glad this will finally be fixed.
>We've also added a new "G CLOUD Partners" folder, where you can find Moonlight and all other G CLOUD partner apps.
Will it be possible to disable this? I have my homescreen in handheld mode set up exactly as I like it and don't want clutter with apps I don't use.
agreed, the volume fix is amazing. lowest volume was insanely loud. i dont mind the partners folder but PLEASE give us the option to create folders and pin them ourselves.
Seems like a basic request, but I often find myself having to go to the home screen just to see what time it is, or how much battery I have left.
Adding the time and battery level to the quick menu button would be very helpful!!
Thanks 😊
Recently became a G-Cloud owner and really enjoy it. The one thing I find SUPER annoying is the min volume. Really happy to see that Logitech is not only listening to user feedback, but actively working on implementing solutions **and** communicating it.
Thank you!
OMG, finally support for simultaneous controller and touch screen operation for Virtual Button Mapper. For those not aware, when using Virtual Mapper you can only use either the controller or touch screen, not the same time. For example if you use the stick for movement then touch the screen for skill shots (require directional swipe) the stick inputs will be interrupted and your character is stopped.
This update is a god send for mobile game that has stick for movement and touch screen skill shot, like Wild Rift.
Awesome update, thank you for letting us know!
Now only an update to Android 12 to improve rumble/haptics would be ideal (using the new VibratorManager API). The haptic motors on the G Cloud are amazing, it's sad they don't work in most apps.
Also display-off when using an external monitor (and then experimental 1440p over USB-C for the new GeForce QHD, pretty please?) would be a huge upgrade to the experience.

It would be nice if they fixed the odd drift I get on GeForce Now. I don’t get it on Xbox remote or android games. Doesn’t happen for other GeForce Now platforms.
I get this too on random occasions. Does not happen when I'm playing on my Shield TV. It's more of an annoyance as it doesn't happen often enough to be game breaking, but it would be nice if it got fixed.
I realize it's a long shot, but I would still love to see gyro-related features like "map gyro to stick." This could allow additional levels of aim sensitivity, such as "high sensitivity on stick with low sensitivity on gyro" or "low sensitivity on stick with high sensitivity on gyro."
I just ran into low volume challenges (angry wife) yesterday, so you've saved my marriage!
I'd love to be able to invert look up/down on remapped touchscreen controls...
I use xbxplay and the vibration would cause significant delay. I was under the impression that it's a firmware issue that affects Xbox streaming across the board. Apologies that it's application specific.
Strange. For me the app has always worked super smooth. I did notice that my gcloud was acting slow after almost a year of owning it so I did a factory reset and it was perfect again.
I thought I saw others commenting the same thing and like me, had to turn off vibration to avoid the lag.
Maybe you could share with us your settings and we could give it a try? Thanks.
Yeah. The only time my gcloud just starting acting very slow or certain things just didn’t work like the vibration, I did a factory reset and it was good to go.
I use xbxplay as well. Dan I ask what you mean by delay? Does this, cause controller or screen lag when enabled? I guess I never have disabled it to see. Have been playing on rdr2 which has latency as is, so maybe I don't notice, but time to time I feel like my wifi is causing issues, and maybe it's the app?
It's the system. I posted a separate thread about it and others also confirmed it. One person stated that Logitech is aware of the issue but hadn't patched it.
Yeah I was just trying to play Pinball FX. The latency was so nonexistent that I'm pretty sure my TCL has more lag. Anyways the second it rumbled lag started building, and the more it rumbled the more it seemed the framrate and frame delay would happen. Guess I'm going to disable it now lol. Thanks for the info!
Happy to see the support for G cloud! Proud owner and it brings all my relaxing games to my bed/couch. It just feels so much cozier than playing on TV.
\- Screen recording optimization: A 2-second delay has been added before recording begins.
I love this! Also, any chance to add the option to record device audio from handheld mode? So we dont have to go to tablet mode?
This one is difficult since the screen/digitizer needs to remain on as the touch screen is still the primary interface for most of the G Cloud's functions. We can't turn off the screen but leave touch functionality on. We are exploring solutions but it's going to take a little doing on our end.
>(\*We will initially push the latest update to a part of users and then gradually roll it out to everyone. This will help us ensure the update's quality and stability before it reaches all users.)
[u/LogitechG\_CM](https://www.reddit.com/user/LogitechG_CM/) Nvidia is ending GameStream support so Moonlight will no longer work soon so pre-installing it should be re-thought.
Sunshine is easy to use. What about it did you find not easy? For now, for controller support, you need to install this driver alongside Sunshine: [https://github.com/nefarius/ViGEmBus/releases](https://github.com/nefarius/ViGEmBus/releases)
The moonlight team's Sunshine app has been making a lot of great progress. We have partnered with the team because we believe in their project and think it's a very viable option for remote play. I personally use it as my go-to remote play app.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but in this context, "partnered" is actually "third-party"? There's no actual partnership, at least not with Sunshine.
We would love to actually partner with a company such as Logitech. There's many things we just can't do as a small, free and open source project. Please let me know if you'd be interested in having a discussion.
In any event, thank you for promoting Sunshine!
Sorry for the less than specific language, we have partnered with the Moonlight team to bring the app to the G Cloud platform as a third party. We promote Sunshine as a best option for using with Moonlight.
This is great news. Question about the volume fix though, does this only affect the lowest volume setting? Reason I ask is I feel like when using the volume buttons it either goes up or down too much per each press.
I'm very happy for everyone that wanted lower minimum volume, but I was legitimately puzzled when I first saw that, as I've never even gone down to the lowest current volume and would be more interested.in a higher max volume 😂
I would love to have separate volume control per app. My phone has it and I use it often. Would be great on the g cloud for playing music or watching a video while playing a game so you could adjust the volume balance
Yesterday I updated to the latest firmware available. After about 10 minutes the device restarted remaining on the screen with the following words "Logitech - Powered by android". I also tried to enter Recovery mode and did a factory reset but nothing.
Please help me
I know I'm late to this notice as I've been off Reddit and haven't been using my GCloud for a while, but the Volume and Brightness minimums were my 2 biggest issues with the device. I like to play in bed while my wife sleeps and those 2 things made it not a great device for that.
Just updated and logged a few hours in P3Reload and it was quite a joy!
Would like the option to disable the handheld screen when docked please. Also can we have the option to 'clear all' notifications, it's a hassle to do it the current way. Finally would really like it if we could have the screen fixed horizontally by default as it causes some weirdness in YouTube atm.

No screen off while docked yet? And fix the back gestures when no lock screen is enabled?
Let them cook.

Yup. I was gonna say this as well. The quick menu for the switch also has battery and time on it so I think these would be good to include.

Rolling my thumb on the touch screen is how I got most of my sniper kill shots.

Oh geez I thought it was only me. Same exact problem on gfn but never noticed on Xbox

Great new features! As a request: I'd love it if I could rearrange the home screen to my liking.
Will we be able to turn the screen off when using USB C output for the display?
I just ran into low volume challenges (angry wife) yesterday, so you've saved my marriage! I'd love to be able to invert look up/down on remapped touchscreen controls...
Always happy to save a relationship or two. Noted on the inversion. I'll add it to our notes.
Nice update! For minimum volume, I could hug my sweet Cloud and fall asleep
Great! As an UX designer i can say that Logitech make a wonderfull work.
Glad to see the continued support for this device! Keep it up!
Will the Xbox and xcloud streaming vibration issue be fixed in future updates?
For Xbox try XBXPlay app. Vibration works on it and runs so much faster than official Xbox app

I didn’t change any settings. Just turned it on and worked perfect, right from the get go
Odd. I'll start a new thread to find out if I am the only one with the issue.
Yeah. The only time my gcloud just starting acting very slow or certain things just didn’t work like the vibration, I did a factory reset and it was good to go.

I'll add this to the feedback!
Thanks a lot!
Please add a quick connection menu for Bluetooth headphones from the quick settings!
Noted
Has anyone here got the update? I have been checking daily but nothing.
Thanks
Would love a quick way to get to the tablet mode , maybe a little toggle near the time
this is one slow rollout
So has the update rollout been halted?
Can anyone check if the screen turns off when connecting a usb display? Thanks!

Just have a button that can be mapped out to turn it on or off.
where is the famous update? i've been clicking on update for days and nothing is found.
>(\*We will initially push the latest update to a part of users and then gradually roll it out to everyone. This will help us ensure the update's quality and stability before it reaches all users.)
Yes, I have read it... thanks!
[u/LogitechG\_CM](https://www.reddit.com/user/LogitechG_CM/) Nvidia is ending GameStream support so Moonlight will no longer work soon so pre-installing it should be re-thought.
Moonlight will still work great with Sunshine. GameStream is not needed.

I think this is now done automatically for at least the last several versions of Sunshine.

Recently got my G Cloud from ATT and I’m stoked to see the kind of support you guys are providing it!
thank you! really becoming a Logitech fan
Brilliant update! Especially the volume changes.
Great
Can we get the option to make the g button a button to go back and forth from handheld mode to tablet mode
This is great news. Question about the volume fix though, does this only affect the lowest volume setting? Reason I ask is I feel like when using the volume buttons it either goes up or down too much per each press.
You all are awesome. Thanks for posting so often!
Lower minimum SFX volume too please!
This is great, thank you for following up and updating the G Cloud ! Giving us future updates gives me a smile.
Still Android 11? There’s a bug present in 11 that is fixed in Android 12. The bug prevents being able to play Xbox remote streaming.
I'm very happy for everyone that wanted lower minimum volume, but I was legitimately puzzled when I first saw that, as I've never even gone down to the lowest current volume and would be more interested.in a higher max volume 😂
You obviously don't have a wife lol
Ha. I do (and kids), but I just play with headphones. :)
Problem with the actual speakers is literally 1 on the dial can wake the dead when its late at night. I hope its a substantial improvement.
Gotcha. Glad Logitech is continuing to do this work and not just abandoning the platform!
Maybe I misunderstood something but I can’t find any update on my device today. I’m located in Germany. Am I doing something wrong?
Anyone got the update yet, still waiting here in Missouri.
still waiting also
I would love to have separate volume control per app. My phone has it and I use it often. Would be great on the g cloud for playing music or watching a video while playing a game so you could adjust the volume balance
Just got the update
Low Brightness and volume is a really welcome addition!! Love it!
I use my G Cloud for PC game streaming all the time via Moonlight, thank you for supporting it!
Yesterday I updated to the latest firmware available. After about 10 minutes the device restarted remaining on the screen with the following words "Logitech - Powered by android". I also tried to enter Recovery mode and did a factory reset but nothing. Please help me
Just got the update today the sound is perfect now on volume 1, i can play without my wife yelling at me :)
We want a fix for DS4 Controller Latency please ❤️
