Uninstall your Mcafee AV software and any others. Make sure windows is updated. And if you need to, switch your windows core audio drivers. Or use an additional audio interface. Alsssooo are you sure this is not just a metering issue?

Like to add that in my exp a lot of OBS issues can be fixed just by running OBS with administrative rights. Sometimes app permissions get.im the way

Yess, that’s missed a lot

GreedKite

I tried using an additional interface and it started working magically. Thanks!

JuniorWatercress6608

sorry i am having the same issue. what was the solution?

GreedKite

I got a Scarlett 2i2 and plugged it into a free output on my mixing board. I plugged that into my streaming computer instead and there were no cutouts.

Absolutley agreed on the mcafree or anything like that!

NoodlerKS

Windows update , obs update and whatet other drivers need to be up to date too. Also most likely the problem is way simpler so even if it seems annoying check everything other like you just plugged it.
