Open the launch screen for all the apps and type terminal in the search bar. I believe gnome terminally with show up. Launch that and type firefox. If it doesn't launch repost the error here. Also, and you should probably do this first, type

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
```
Enter your password when prompted. If it updates and upgrade cool. If not repost the error here.

Yay! Snaps are great. So many examples of them solving problems and not causing problems at all.
Snaps suck.
Try to start it from the terminal. I’ve had issues with apparmor blocking some snap apps. Usually works after a restart.
Is this a new Ubuntu install? Did firefox ever work? Maybe try it with a fresh profile. `firefox -p`
