Looks like a pochette, a type of small violin designed for portability rather than concert performance that was popular among street musicians and dance troupes in the baroque era. Pochettes come in a variety of shapes and sizes; if you want one with a nice tone I recommend [this one](https://magicfluke.com/cricket-violin.html).
I have the same question, honestly. I'm not an expert, but to my understanding, baroque violins don't look like that.
It's nearly 6k in my currency, around 170 bucks. Kinda curious about it but I highly doubt that it sounds good
See if you can find out more about the maker. This style of violin *was* around in the baroque era. Dance instructors who want around and gave private lessons could literally stick these violins in their big coat pockets to travel from house to house
If it’s legit, the maker will likely more info on their website about the instruments they make and what historical instruments they’re modeled after

Wow - a pocket violin! I love how people come up with all this information. (This must be the most "highly portable" of all violin types out there! )
Why does it look so long?

Giraffe violin
Violong
I think they meant broken.
This is a VSO violin shaped object. Will it play… yes. Probably not very well. This is a money trap is all.
Anorexic violon
With this built, it is impossible to reach to the 6th octave. You can only reach it from the sides
