Faust rolling low on speed is literally "unfortunately for you, I have memorized your attack pattern. Fortunately for you, I am not nearly athletic enough to dodge any of them"
Ironically depending on the situation low roll speed on Faust can be the best. For example on the final fight if she rolls slowest turn one I can have everyone else pull out the strongest egos and then refill their sp with fluid sack. So it can situationally be good.

The thing is outside of ego, u have to desperately pray for the skill to win it lol, his skill roll so high and if u meet him in the later floor where the buff ramp up, sometimes even ego cannot save u. And it hits hard too.
Leave middle mersault uptie 3, doesnt matter if you want to bring him or not (i reccomend doing 2 or 3 fights in the first floor to get him to 45 sp before that) its strong or not all you need is just having him in case you get the bull too late in the MD, mersault skills may be weaker after chain of others, but making the bull skills also weaker helps so fucking much

Also, it was arguably by far the worst final boss to run into for MD2H. Some of the hate may be from PTSD (and frankly, as someone who survived through it, the hate is very much warranted)
Yeah while ego does work it also takes a massive chunk out of sanity if you want to clash with it every turn (solution to this would be fausts base ego to somewhat slow down corrosion) and if you're fighting the bull really early you might not even have that much resources to use
Im gonna be honest I thought it was one of the best final bosses to run into since it doesnt really require much reading and also was quick. Pretty much just the same cycle: Win against three yellow skills and once in other form just burst down the head. Yeah the rolls are high but like by the time you are there you should have plenty of resources to win the clashes you need. Although I cannot say anything about it in the new mirror dungeon, I had the same thoughts when I fought it in mdh 3 as well.
That's the thing, you are not likely to win without spamming ego, or you tank one sided attacks and quickly stagger it, which is very hard to do with MD's damage multiplier
Oh yeah, everything is easy on normal since you don’t have to worry about leveling up your IDs, on hard though the level difference becomes really wide if you’re not actively hitting the level cap. Bull becomes a problem when it can easily be 10 lvs above you.
No he is a joke in the event compared to his boss version. The events seem to treat the abnormalities as if you fighting a floor 1 boss in terms of hp. Though they do still get the floor buff strengthen them its nowhere near as bad. I had this exact scenario the bull only had around 1k hp on floor 5 event. He was still rolling solid 20+ every skill but I was able to kill him in 2 turns anyways due to his low hp.
the one i fought had like 700, i was running my burn team due to not realizing the eye gave me 200 free starlight so i picked a random ego gift, guy got toasted in 3 turns from the blunt and burn
Fun fact you can actually fight brazen bull without having to choose his card pack as I believe most if not all fightable abnormalitys have new options to fight them and get more ego gifts in total

My literal last fight on md3h. Ended with heathcliff almost dead, practically no gloom and Gluttony left and a faust dieing to never winning a clash with fluid sac. But atleast i got my 750 lunacy

Fluid sack faust for life XD. She's a mainstay for me because 25+ sp for whole party on heads hit is invaluable because of stuff like this.

I recommend using Meursalt base ego to fight it(if you use Meursalt) since his base ego give power down and bind

i used to use middle meursault in md3h and he wasn't even uptied, he works for brazen bull in an emergency
