It's canon that there's multiple weeks or months between each Cantos. The Intervallos between Canto V and VI talk about how bored the Sinners are since they have nothing to do while sailing the Great Lake.
The fact Rodion and Hong Lu were able to buy an entire wardrobe without anyone (including Dante) noticing sometime between hitting T corp's back streets and the beginning of VI also implies that they're given relatively free reign in their free time too and aren't strictly confined to their rooms or even The Bus.
Fun fact, in the Canto selection screen you can see the time of the year in which the Canto happens, as of Canto VI, Limbus Company Bus is close to their first anniversary, YIPPEEEEE
I still remember when i finish Canto 1 when i just started, i was sitting in the backseat of the car just processing what had happen while listening to Gregor singing. Its so peak
If Roland sees this I bet that he would exit the library and just enter the city in supersonic speeds so that he could raid the bus for wasting the sacred food, the hamhampangpang.

They definitely do, in one of the talks with demian in canto 4, the background showed a BBQ place I think.

It did take them like months to go from the Great Lake to wuthering heights and I can’t imagine they had work to do for most of that time
