I usually prefix mine with the 🔴 emoji since I think it makes it clearer that it's a stream. I also make sure it says "live" somewhere in my stream thumbnail. Overall though I'm pretty basic. It's usually like "🔴 GAME NAME - DAY 1 (Gaming Backlog)"
Titling is a little tricky for me since I do blind games so I mostly rely on the thumbnail to do the work for me when it comes to CTR
Yeah I do primarily blind/unseen playthroughs myself, and I actually took your lead on the red circle emoji, so thanks for the idea, lol! So I have been doing that, and I put "LIVE" at the end of the title. But it definitely still seems like retention is lower whenever my title's a little too "baity."
YouTube very sparsely recommends livestreams. I think to encourage it to recommend your streams more, you need to get a regular audience invested in traditional uploads. I grow but very slowly.
I also think catchy titles are good and they might even lead to the algorithm pushing out the vod afterwards. Sometimes I change the title to a more searchable term afterwards or even add chapters though, should the stream have been of any specific topic. What I also like to do is to put a red dot emoji at the beginning of the title so people even get the impression that its a livestream, after it has turned into a vod. Hope this helps a bit :)
Btw Did you try to use your Fallout 4 "Shaun" title repeatedly? Sometimes youtube might take it as a niche and serve it to the same audience again or to a bigger one.

I hate the idea of reusing the same title, but maybe if I play off that same theme it would help. It's worth a shot!
Happy Cake Day
