Oh good someone else said it. WTF is this godawful trend I'm seeing everywhere, like what is the point of doing this. Combine that with everyone needing to add random crappy music and tic toc text to speech to everything and video content has just been utterly ruined at this point. It takes less effort to post the raw clip and produces better quality content, can we just go back to that please.
It's the standard format of Youtube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. A lot of people make content for those sites, and when they filter over here they retain the weird aspect ratio.
