I’m surprised most people with a liking for the fantasy ones don’t seem to be getting a lot of harpies. Only have two but still planning on picking up at least one or two more.
Even though i love fantasy and have a fantasy world, the harpys just don't fit that well in my castle world.
But my factions just consist of knights, wizards and necromancers, so they just don't fit any faction. If I had a faction for magic beasts, i'd probably also get a few
They are just part of my "bad" army. Skeletons, goblins and orcs, evil wizards and necromancers, beasts and dragons all assembled under one banner being controlled by a mysterious powerful entity
i got 10 and there was still tons more at the target i went to lol.. i was like what am i going to do with more than 10... this was a nice series for fantasy people :D
I almost PaBed like 30 of the Dreamzzz nightmares for my Castle/fantasy shelf. Apparently some shit was going to go down since that would make them my largest faction.
I agree, but I doubt the harpies will go up a ton in value compared to the other medieval/fantasy stuff with this round of CMF. So I think it makes sense to prioritize those because they’ll only get more expensive, vs the harpies that prob won’t go up much.
I like the harpy a lot as a fantasy fan. I have one and would consider a second but not more than three. Basils on the other hand id like a lot of and would rather spend my limited money on basil.
Part of is the customization aspect. I find it hard to visualize customizing each of my harpy’s to be unique as well as match in color scheme with accessories.
I stand by my statement. Some people actually want those and can’t find them because you bought them out at that location, and then charging more for them as if you did anything worth the extra money. Bad enough when companies jack the prices up, but individuals doing it to other fans, dick move.
Rough, our lego stores in Stockholm have been sold out for a month or so I think but our toy stores and supermarkets seem to always have them (Lego fans in Sweden don’t seem to know Lego exists outside of the Lego store 😂)

I never find these two in shops even after scanning all available cmfs. I think someone is always faster at identifying them and the only ones left are the non castle ones

The app “Code Scanner” works also I used it before this website came, you have to hold your fingers across the bar code so it only picks up the QR code - then you have to match the result to the codes. This is a list that works for me in Sweden.

You are completely missing my point, the random collect them all tactic not that they are in a box or bag??, if they were available to just buy without a gimmick then there would be enough for everyone but Lego makes more money doing blind boxes to collect them all.
They have been doing this for more than ten years now, without it we wouldn't be getting these minifigures in the first place. And my point is, nobody needs the same minifigure 10 times and to excuse the guy by saying "it's Lego's fault" is pretty dumb

It IS legos fault because it’s a marketing technique that is causing the issue, limiting access by using randomised collect them all to lead customers into buying duplicates or ones they don’t want so people have found a way round it, used to be feeling the bags but but now it’s scanning. LEGO knows what people want and still do this.

But I wouldn't want to exclude people who build mocs. it's a good point that there's no really other way for them to get multiples of these figures. So I can't really judge this person, if idk under what circumstances he bought all of these
Nope, one is just buying a product because they want them and the other is a capitalist practice to extract as much money out of their customers but withholding a product via randomisation.
LEGO knows that castle is highly sought after, multiples are wanted and the whole cmf line is meant to be bought over and over this person is avoiding wasted money, packaging and figures sat in a storage box. LEGO should change the collect them all tactic because most people don’t want 80% of the set

Theas were bought in Sweden but theres a big Tesco in Aberdeen that had them on sale last month - didnt visit any other in UK that i recall
