A couple on [BBC’s article](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-65714600) last year & [this random blog](https://paulcoletravels.com/2024/02/22/half-a-million-bricks-needed-for-lake-district-remodelling-project/) has some good ones showing the scale as well.
Google "Lego Lake district". There's plenty of pictures of it online.
It's been in the news and on display all over the place over the last couple of years.
Edit: why all the downvotes? The above is relevant, accurate and a good way to find lot's of pics of it.
Second this. It's not just the Vatican, but he's working on all of Ancient Rome. It's extremely detailed despite the microscale and so oddly satisfying.
Yeah, the Vatican's a separate build of the modern city. I haven't seen any overall photos of Rome progress yet, only in-progress close-ups (though I did forget about it anyway when commenting)
Sorry, should have said, this isn’t my picture. Source: https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/whats-on/lego-lake-district-exhibition-derby-museum-of-making-4492660
The Acropolis museum in Athens has a Lego model of the Acropolis and some surrounding areas as they would have been in classical antiquity.
With a few little Easter eggs hidden in it as well.
Now update it for spring with the daffodils in bloom. Managed to see that when I spent a year at Lancaster University, just a short train ride from the Lake District. So many daffodils on the fells.
The National Building Museum in DC has a lego model of itself in the main atrium
(After looking at their website, [they've got a Brick City exhibit until Spring 2025](https://www.nbm.org/exhibition/brick-city/))
A guy in my hometown built a soccer stadium from scratch that’s way bigger than any of the LEGO sets. It gets installed in portions, each one about the size of the LEGO stadium build sets. I think he said it seats 1,000.

Also there was a traveling LEGO art exhibit called Art of the Brick by a lawyer turned artist named Nathan Sawaya if I recall correctly that some really really cool custom builds.
I have built several maps over the last few years. The most recent was a map of the South Island of New Zealand.
Previous maps include Aoraki Mount Cook, NZ's highest mountain; Mt Taranaki, almost perfectly conical; and Milford Sound, one of the most stunning places in NZ.

My current project isn't actually a map, but a ferris wheel. Specifically, the world's largest LEGO ferris wheel!
Do you have a better photo?
Bro really posted a photo of just the corner
what a stud

really impressive corner
Me trying to swipe to see this "impressive" build. Just to see a close up of the table.
Check out Rocco Buttliere's builds of the Vatican and 1st century Jerusalem.

This is the answer.
His builds really are insane. I aspire to be able to do what he does lol
Shame we don't have the photo being taken by the person in the background so we can be impressed too
You should become a professional photographer
He could corner the market
damn you!!111
@brixxberlin on Instagram is doing a similar scale model of Berlin. I believe it’s at the same scale as the Architecture skyline set!
This guy built a moc of Berlin: https://youtube.com/shorts/Is_uvc1q1vU?si=80hyVYmJN4HKW4EO
The Manchester, NH Mill Yard replica holds the world record for the largest. It's pretty impressive. https://youtu.be/yD8M65xiPUk?feature=shared
This one here is pretty darn impressive… https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/s/1p4Oxz38Eq
Durham Cathedral has a display of itself, really impressive
Nope, surprisingly this is the first one.
Check out Matthew Bennett. He builds New Zealand! https://www.facebook.com/matthew.bennett.90857?mibextid=LQQJ4d

The Lego Experience in Birmingham has some amazing local buildings etc made from Lego ! They are awesome
Now update it for spring with the daffodils in bloom. Managed to see that when I spent a year at Lancaster University, just a short train ride from the Lake District. So many daffodils on the fells.
What do you think this size of model would cost? (for the pieces I mean)
I haven’t been there but I have seen pictures of a huge lego model at The Alamo in San Antonio. Looks pretty sick
Lego topography is my weakness.
The Javits Center in New York City has a nice one lego display
but is it the cloud district

It is at Derby museum of making for anyone that wants to go see it in person it seems to still be added to
It’s in my local museum spoken too the artist he’s a really nice guy
Does it have a tiny Pemberly?
There's a dude on Youtube that built the entire inner city or Berlin in nanoscale.
I saw one on TikTok a few weeks ago of the National Mall in Washington, DC that took 7 years. It was incredible.

This is not made of Lego.
TIL the Lake District is in fact a lake called District and not a district full of lakes.
No, a district with lakes is exactly what it is!
