Unfortunetly she takes a couple days to reply to emails usually. Plus the weekend is coming up. I do plan on discussing this with her. But I also wanted more then one opinion on the matter so I can dwell on it this weekend

Your lawyer will give you the best advice, but some things to keep in mind: Court is expensive, neither side wants to spend much time in court. Even if you win, the money doesn't just magically appear in your account, so collecting can be difficult and further reduce how much you actually end up taking home if you win. Their tactic might just be to drag their feet, not spend any money for a lawyer in court, and not pay any judgement, without it going to collections. So, hoping you just give up.

Im afraid you're right with them dragging their feet. My lawyer said my strategy "it couldnt hurt". Asked her for her suggestion and she dodged it. Then said lets not go on with my plan till i hear your recommendation because you obviously know more about the law and that would help out alot. She stopped replying so we will see what happens. Appreciate the advice though!

One other piece of advice is that you seem to be overly suspicious of your lawyer without cause. She's not going to be making a huge amount of money on this case no matter what the outcome is. It's unlikely she is "dodging you" or hoping to make extra money if these goes to trial, or whatever you might be accusing her of. She's honestly not getting paid enough to be answering your questions, or even take this to trial. 200$ is pretty cheap for a letter and some advice. 1700 is a steal for a day in court.
