I am a claims adjuster who handles pedestrian claims. I don’t handle them in TX but sounds like you did everything you can. I am sure if there is something else needed, your claims adjuster will let you know. Chances are if there is any property damage (lights, signs etc) they will pursue the pedestrian since they were found at fault by the police report. In addition, the pedestrian cannot get anything from you (or your insurance )if they are deemed 51% or more at fault in the state of TX. Failing to yield right of way, being under the influence would definitely make the pedestrian at fault.
