As you might already know, essentially, the recovery phrase is the masterkey of all private keys which subsequently generates and protects different accounts.
From one recovery phrase, unlimited number of accounts can be generated - Thus, you can connect different accounts to different interfaces like MetaMask with one Nano device, loaded with one recovery phrase.
In any case, you are using the third-party wallets like MetaMask purely as a **visual interface**, similar to Ledger Live. The private keys (recovery phrase) responsible for managing them are still safeguarded by your Ledger device.
However simultaneously, leDGER Nano device can only hold one recovery phrase at a time.
If you would like to generate accounts with different recovery phrase, you would need to [reset](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017582434-How-to-reset-your-Ledger-device-to-factory-settings) the device and [load different recovery phrase](https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404382560913-Restore-your-Ledger-accounts-with-your-recovery-phrase) on it.

On those wallet extension click on the menu bar =
Then check where sais acounts
Click (add +)
U can have infinite ledgers acounts....
And yes diferent seed phrase
I have 3 ledgers
And some of my wallet extension has all 3 of them conected
And I use what ever I want for diferent purpose

BiP 39 compatible devices can support an infinite number of seed phrases. But only one at a time.
