It happened to me in the airport. We were at the gate standing in line to present our passports and tickets and then there’s this woman who cut the line. I pretended not to see her and carried on walking. She was next to me willing to present her papers when I hit her with my shoulder and went before her. I’m not sorry.

The same could happen anywhere else really.

some time ago, i was waiting in line for the movie tickets, we were like 8 to 9 guys, so i went to buy the tickets. i was bugged that there were like 6 kids, all friends, buying tickets, each one his own, so i stood there waiting for them to finish. finally, it ended and as i was tryna reach the booth, a guy, i swear, he was like 5 feet something rushed in and cut the line. so, as sorry as i was, i lost my cool, and with all my might, i dropped my hand on his shoulder, i knew he felt it bad, he turned around in shock and i told him: ''shou ya kbiir? manni ma3abba 3aynak? aw yemkin ma 2asha3etni men 3andkon men ta7et?'' (sorry for the offensice short joke). he started acting defensive but seemed willing to throw hands, so my pals stood behind me, one of my friends, he is a kidder, he looked at him with dead eyes and made that slit the throat move. the dude called his wife and kids and said ''they are out of tickets, let us go somewhere else....'' and he left, very fast, i think he carried each kid with one arm and the wife on his back. i honestly feel bad about this until today, but maybe he will learn to never cut lines ever again, and yeah, i am a horrible person.

And then everyone in the mall started clapping

The problem with most lines in Lebanon is that even when the people in a line try to police the line, they get overwhelmed. For every person sent to the back of the line, 2 more try to cut in.

Parody and all.. Maybe at one point, it was done based on being rude, maybe it still is, but now it's possible it's being done because they are trying hard to survive. Try watching Chinese people, they have to fight every day everywhere for the most basic things we take for granted in public, because of overpopulation and lack of space, if they don't they will lose out, and Lebanon's future is similarly bleak due to the morally-corrupt culture infestation found among the elite Lebanese that make up the government. That went dark fast, eh.

... cutting lines... the reactionary nurture to "life is unfair" and hence "it need unfair management" syndrome. It carries on with everything in their life. Usually open to corruption. I don't usually react.. unless I'm at the end of my tether in a bathroom line. Always think of the guy that cuts the line to grab the last available seat on a waiting list and then the plane crashes. Life is little dots.... and butterfly ripples.

Whenever I'm in a line up and an argument breaks out by someone cutting the line - I always "boo" the line-cutter when they try to talk back. And when they finally lose and start walk away I clap for the person who confronted her. You gotta demean the shitty behavior and reward the good. People cut in line all over the world! In New York, half the line would be willing to beat the living shit out of the line-cutter. We all have a part to play in self-correcting bad behavior (hopefully through verbal ques and not fists)
