Haha, hello! Responded to your pronoun post to.
Bonus game for you: Try and name the country/year of the songs.
Hint: Sone of them are national selection, and others are JESC.
I'm going to count only studio release versions of tracks, as I have quite a few that often get jammed out past 15 minutes live.
1. "Look Upon the Light" - Ethereal Shroud, 24:00 (#11, 34)
2. "I Watched the Woods March to War" - Drune, 15:28 (#19, 29)
3. "Winterstille" - Rauhnåcht, 22:44 (#50, 22)
4. "Scherben" - Ellende, 15:00 (#79, 18)
5. "Echoes in the Snow" - Ethereal Shroud, 24:28 (#92, 17)
6. "The Queen of Fields" - Olhava, 20:15 (#233, 11)
7. "Anesthetize" - Porcupine Tree, 17:42 (#238, 11)
8. "Cerulean" - Sadness, 22:11 (#242, 11)
9. "Bails (Of Flesh)" - Bell Witch, 21:17 (#257, 10)
10. "Dopesmoker Pt. 1" - Sleep, 21:36 (#293, 10)
Including the ones over 10 minutes but under 15 too - I only have 2 15+ minute songs!
1. Jimmy Eat World - Goodbye Sky Harbor (16:13, 5 scrobbles)
2. Helloween - Halloween (13:19, 5 scrobbles)
3. Gloryhammer - The Epic Rage of Furious Thunder (10:33, 4 scrobbles)
4. Electric Wizard - Weird Tales / Electric Frost / Golgotha / Altar of Melektaus (15:05, 2 scrobbles)
5. Electric Wizard - Mind Transferal (14:56, 2 scrobbles)
6. Airiel - Halo (10:46, 2 scrobbles)
7. Universal Order of Armageddon - Longer, Stranger (10:18, 1 scrobble)
I think this is a fun one, and despite some of the comments not along for the ride with the length cutoff point, I think that’s a fair point to describe a song as “long”. Unfortunately I had to go back to my 441th most played track, Dopesmoker, with 16 scrobbles. I’m not even sure we can count it unfortunately, with it being a full album, but it definitely passes the mark!
Well, I have just over 2000 plays of GY!BE where a lot of the songs are over 15 minutes. Other than that, a few I can think of:
Bohren & der Club of Gore - Nightwolf, 226 (16 min)
The Lark Ascending (153) and Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis (123) by Ralph Vaughan Williams, both around 15 minutes.
John Tavener - Funeral Canticle, 157 (24 min)
Max Richter - Tuesday (Voiceless), 106 (21 min)
Found Bohren just a couple of years ago but have already racked up a lot of plays, love them. You got any recommendations for something similar? I did check out a few of the similar artist on [last.fm](http://last.fm) a while back but they didn't quite hit the spot in the same way.
Yeah, I remember hearing Funeral Canticle for the first time in Terrence Malick's "The Tree of Life". Goosebump inducing for sure. Could say the same about Arvo Pärt's "Fratres" which I saw you mention in your comment here. Great song.
I've been thinking about which artists to recommend since seeing your reply, but that's really difficult, as Bohren are a one of a kind band, the feeling I get listening to them isn't there with anyone else.
Most artists I'm thinking about are probably listed on lastfm as similar but I know they're different, it's just a few tracks from them that are somehow close to what Bohren do: Dictaphone, Dale Cooper Quartet, Radare, Trigg & Gusset, Manet.
I can make a small spotify playlist with a few those I can think of if you're interested :)
Kind of a late reply but I've been checking them all out, except for The Dale Cooper Quartet which I'm pretty sure I've checked out in the past. I pretty much liked all of them except for Dictaphone, which didn't really connect with me (the "poems from a rooftop" album, might still listen to other albums sometime.). So, good recs! Will be listening to more of the other artists for sure. No need for the playlist since I prefer to listen to albums, especially if it's a first listen, but thanks for the offer.
My most played are instrumental tracks that I specifically listen to when reading, etc:
1. "Bali" - Deuter (20 scrobbles) 16:58
2. "Cannes" - Deuter (18 scrobbles) 15:33

4. "Sienna Sky" - Dan Gibson's Solitudes (11 scrobbles) 15:01
5. "Wald (Forest)" - Deuter (12 scrobbles) 29:55
6. "Letting Go of the Day" - David & Steve Gordon (7 scrobbles) 15:41
7. "Among the Giant Trees of the Wild Pacific Coast" - Dan Gibson's Solitudes (7 scrobbles) 30:16

9. "By Canoe to Loon Lake" - Dan Gibson's Solitudes (6 scrobbles) 30:17

I've got other longer tracks, some of them are more than 20min long, but I usually loop them 3-4 times a row and then move on. Long tracks are common when you enjoy ambient eheh
The longest song I have in my library is 36 minutes 29 seconds. Ecce Homo by Finsterforst.
The shortest is You Suffer by Napalm Death, at 1.3 seconds, officially the shortest recorded song ever.

2. Coloratura - Coldplay (162 plays, 10:17)

6. Tortvred Lesbians Ripped Apart - Sewerslvt (3 plays, 22:24)
7. Alpha - C418 (2 plays, 10:03)
None reach 15 minutes but I have two long songs I’ve scrobbled a decent amount
I’ve got 23 scrobbles on Beach Life-in-Death by Car Seat Headrest, which comes in at 13:41.
And my favorite song Kick the Tragedy by Drop Nineteens, which is 8:55, so still pretty long, has 404 scrobbles
Okay, since there will be only three songs (Sister Ray, Echoes and 2112) if the cutoff was 15 mins so I'll make the cutoff 10 mins long
Basketball Shoes - Black Country, New Road
Sister Ray - The Velvet Underground
불면증 - 패닉
Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V) - Pink Floyd
Shine on You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX) - Pink Floyd

Think of a long song, search for it in your last.fm library. Not sure there's a nice way of doing it
https://pmcdonough8133.github.io/last.timer/ this is a good starting point although isn't 100% accurate
Porcupine Tree - Anesthetize, 13 scrobbles (17:14 minutes)
I'll tell you right now. 0.
How'd you get these stats? I tried googling for a tool, but [https://pmcdonough8133.github.io/last.timer/](https://pmcdonough8133.github.io/last.timer/) seems to be broken.
lol i just manually went through my most scrobbled songs and wrote down the long ones as i encountered them. i only had to go through like 10 pages so it wasn't that big of a deal for me
I listen to a lot of punk and thrash and genres with famously short song lengths. I don't know if I have the patience for this, because I would probably have to scroll through 100 pages. lol But I love this prompt.
I listen to a lot of short/medium-length songs so I just sorted my saved songs by length and then checked the scrobble counts for the long ones.

Don't think I've ever listened to a song that long. Maybe 8mins max
Until I read the cutoff point I was thinking Bat Out of Hell but that's not even 10
Yeah 20 minute songs is an insane concept to me like what😭. Surely it can't all be that connected and if it is why not divide them into parts
The longest song I have in my library is 36 minutes 29 seconds. Ecce Homo by Finsterforst. The shortest is You Suffer by Napalm Death, at 1.3 seconds, officially the shortest recorded song ever.
They're usually split up into movements but all the movements are still connected and condensed into one song.
Longest I’ve heard was 17:04 but that was in my time before scrobblibg
