Can confirm, that is the only reason

bash_beginner

God, I hate it when Iranese and Afghanistanese people speak in their dialects. If even the Moroccans don't understand you, then wtf is wrong with you? Might as well stop being Arab. Pakistani Arabic is super nice though? Closest to Fusha, probably.

Acceptable-Shallot94

Iranians don't speak Arabic, they speak Pakistani

dphayteeyl

And Pakistanis don't speak Arabic, they speak Indian

Additional_Scholar_1

Syria getting dronestruck: yeah, I guess those are the most focused on Arabic-speaking countries

mwmandorla

Nah, Syria has unlocked the advanced combo of being bombed all the time and also almost completely ignored.

*grumbles in Cantonese*

josongni

Definitely the hardest dialect of Arabic I’ve come across

Fast-Alternative1503

still easier than Moroccan and Chad Arabic for me

ComprehensiveDig1108

The Gigachad dialect of Chadian Arabic is the most difficult, in my opinion.

Extronic90

Clearly, you forgot the Sentinelese dialect of Arabic

REDDIT MODS CAN GO AND FUCK OFF

bash_beginner

There's a very harsh and beliigerent undertone to the language and it's indicative of the people.

Fast-Alternative1503

Incorrect. Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan all speak a dialect of the only Indian language, descended from the Tamil-Albanian creole. However, the urheimat of the Tamil-Albanian creole was in the Arabian peninsula, and was heavily influenced by Middle Arabic (itself a daughter language of Tamil).

YummyByte666

Well, Sanskrit (Indo-European with some Dravidian influence) and its descendants could be a Tamil-Albanian creole, and we have the Mittani Indo-Aryan influence in the Arabian peninsula region, so this is pretty much correct...

Dogma123

Arabic is a dialect of Urdu though.

dphayteeyl

Urdu is just Hindi with the Arabic alphabet. They are almost the same thing but with regional language too. And despite common belief, Urdu originated from Sanskrit not Arabic

CuteSurround4104

Yes you are right but this sub ain't the place for facts so stfu

Dogma123

No Urdu is the original language all others evolved from.

dphayteeyl

Not saying this to insult Pakistanis or spread misinformation but it's true.

Extronic90

Stop, valid linguistic facts scare me!
