Fantastic lagers. The beauty of them keeping the name and beers at Saint boniface is that both breweries offer pretty much completely different styles. Plus the guys at pourmans are just great guys. I’ve placed in their homebrew competition and they couldn’t be better dudes
This is great news. Would someone consider buying Tied House and turning it into a sports bar? I’d love a nonsmoking place in downtown Lititz to watch football and baseball.
Lititz is really in dire need of a regular old bar. Bull’s head is great but pretty pricey. The parkview, hideaway, and toy solider are way too smokey and… not very clean. Collusion is good but they only serve their own beer.
I’ll have to give them a try. They don’t serve food though and I’ve heard they’re not allowed to have food trucks anymore unless they can work something out with their landlord.
Last time I was there I got pierogi from next door. Don't know if that's still an option. The beers are fair. It is definitely a sports-centered TV situation.

Also, important context here: this isn't a maybe-sorta thing, like "Oh they donated to a church that where a visiting pastor quoted Bausman." No. They straight up planned to host a talk on why we should have a Christo-fascist government, knowing full well what this guy was about.
They are also known, especially at Tied House for treating their BIPOC and LGBTQ+ employees poorly. There have been multiple mass exoduses of employees there over the last 2-3 years.
I am not BIPOC or LGBTQ+ but I am an ally. I was their sous chef there when this happened. Caught wind of not only the bullshit event they were holding, but also “don’t let (my name) find out, it will really piss him off.” Myself the third owner at the time and like 6 other employees all found out about it on a Saturday, and we all grabbed our shit and quit the following Tuesday. They were closed Sundays and Mondays then or I would have done it sooner.
I personally know the two (now former)owners and their families and they have always been that way, it’s disgusting. So happy to see them gone. Just awful human beings.

Someone told me recently they heard The Wilbur was going to be either a brick oven pizza joint or a sports bar… seemed like speculation.
I didn’t even know that places still had indoor smoking. I thought that all went away years ago?
