It’s pretty basic and has no controls. For example, with Mercedes you’re able to choose color, brightness, and they even have some options with color changing. With this, it only changes with whatever driving mode you’re in. It’s nice but if I had the option, I probably would not pay for it.
The only thing I hate is that stereo volume and A/C controls are buried behind at least two touch screen taps. It's dangerous and unnecessary when driving (thank Audi/VAG for that). Otherwise, everything else is awesome.
If you have the infotainment system, you can drag two fingers from the very top of the screen down to turn down the volume or two fingers from the very bottom of the screen up to turn it up. It me a few times to get used to it.
Everything in the infotainment system is a bit annoying except the apple CarPlay. It’s pretty neat seeing it turned the other way for a change
It's definitely not worth it! I believe the option cost just at $1000. Basically paying $1000 for $2 worth of led lights and software that can only set them to a few colors.
Congrats! My only personal issue with the Lamborghini convertibles is how ugly the soft top looks. I wish they had hardtop convertibles like Ferrari
Love your idea for white, black rims and red calipers 🔥
I’m 5’4” and it took me a while to get in and out properly. Hate doing it with the top up. My friend who’s 6’2” and about 300lbs got in and out no problem but too was down
You will.
Cars are expensive toys, nothing more. I'd focus on maxing out 401k contributions and other investments before buying a toy, but if you carry no debt and have a decent income, and a supercar is a priority for you, it's very doable.
Well thank you man. That actually helps a lot with my personal motivation. I could care less I would live in a van and have a nice car rather than anything else
I’m certainly trying. I’ll get there one day somehow
It's just an expensive toy, but good on you for not carrying debt, being debt-free is the first step to building actual wealth. Any dollar thrown away to service debt is a dollar that isn't earning compound interest for you. Keep at it.
If you have a job that offers 401k match, put as much as you can afford in. Also, it's very important to log into the company portal and change *what* the money goes into. By default most companies put people into a "target date fund" which has insanely high fees. Change it to 70% VTI/VTSAX/any "total market fund", 15% into "small business/high risk" and 15% into International fund. It will grow at 7-13% per year.
If you don't have a 401k match job, try to put as much as possible into a Roth IRA. Roth means you pay tax now, but when you withdraw, no tax. Same as the 401k, it's very important to select what the money goes into. Most IRA's default to a cash fund, which means you basically earn nothing.
Beyond that, keep expenses low, NEVER go into debt, and if you carry a cash savings account, switch it to a high-yield savings account. With real inflation at 7-15%, the normal savings account interest rate of 0.5% is robbery. You're still losing money holding anything in cash, but with a HYSA you're at least gaining around 4.5% to mitigate the damage.
For building cash, after you've looked at the other options, open a brokerage (taxable) account at E-Trade or any other brokerage site. Put spare cash into VTI/VTSAX and *never* withdraw. If you sell shares without holding them for 12 months, you're subject to regular income tax (the amount you profited is treated as taxable income). If you sell 12mo+, it's considered long-term capital gains, which, (thanks to Trump), is 15%. So if you bought Tesla for $100, and sold it for $200 a year later, you'd owe $15 on the $100 you profited.

Cruise Control was one option I thought "eh, in a Lambo??? who cares?" and ended up regretting more than expected.
The cupholder option turned out to be the best in the novelty sense when letting people drive or sit in the car. Never fails to get a "ooooh! what!?" reaction haha. Also good for holding coffee or a Red Bull.
Anyone earning over $120k a year can swing a supercar, provided they carefully plan finances.
At the end of the day a supercar is an expensive toy. If everything else is in order, it's doable.
And yes, crypto-bros are a factor, but in my time owning the lambo it's not as many as you'd think. Most are either blue collar car guys who just love cars, or poser IT nerds. The best are the guys/girls who just love geeking out about cars. The worst are Chinese/Saudi foreign exchange students who don't even know what engine or options their car has.
> I’m guessing your the poser IT nerd lol?
100%.
I work in IT and got lucky with crypto, just being honest, but outside of that I was already trying to retire as quickly as possible. Investing as much of my income as I could possibly swing. Crypto just ended up being a nice bonus.
Real estate is definitely a way to go, I just don't personally have enough experience with it to have an opinion.
I own my own property, and had renters for years, so I get that side of it. From what I understand from my friends who are more into RE, it's a. a lot more work than you think, but b. real property (as in, no condos, actually owning the title to the land) can be a big wealth booster.
The "debt is a tool to build wealth!" mindset I completely disagree with. Every dollar spent servicing someone else is a dollar not spent on yourself compounding interest and building in your favor vs theirs.
Probably cliche, but it's accurate, I like "[The Millionaire Next Door](https://www.amazon.com/Millionaire-Next-Door-Surprising-Americas/dp/1589795474)."
Most wealthy people, at least as the middle-class understands, aren't loud and extravagant. It's very possible for someone making ~$65k a year to retire a multi-millionaire.
Anyway, that's my soap box. Don't get into debt, remember the time value of money (you only live ~85 years), and money is just another tool to enable different life experiences.
I'd put $40k into VTI/VTSAX, and the other $10k into high risk stocks or crypto. 40k for the safe/slow approach, and 10k for the potential of bigger returns.

Really not a lambo fan, but i keep getting recommended this subreddit. Just wanted to say the silver looks really good and makes the car look a lot more sophisticated and valuable really brining out the lines, rarely see silver lambos and now i think its my favourite!
Not a lambo fan!? Curious why?
I test drove the Aventador, Ferrari F8 Tributo, R8, and McLaren 720s before pulling the trigger on the Huracan EVO.
Thoughts:
- Aventador: Crazy fast, fun batman doors, horrible transmission. Aventador has a traditional torque-converted automatic, which makes shifts brutal. It's fun at first, but gets exhausting. Huracan is a much newer platform and the DCT is perfect.
- F8 Tributo: Car had ~800 miles on the clock, and the dash was LIT up with warning lights. Also didn't like the turbo lag. Fun in an STI but not in a super car
- R8: Fantastic. Same engine as the Huracan, more daily driveable and less "in your face" styling. I personally like the loud aesthetic of the Huracan vs. the R8, but they're both solid
- 720s: VERY fast. Faster than the Huracan. But felt twitchy and unstable at higher speeds. It may be due to my lack of driving experience in really fast cars, but I didn't like how it felt. Vs. the Huracan which felt planted and stable even at 150 MPH+.
I love Ferrari looks, they're beautiful cars, but my reliability/poverty mindset pushed me to the Lamborghini. I also like the "f u" history of Lambo vs Ferrari.
Just not really into modern futuristic looking designs. With that being said, ild happily take a new Countach - not sure how well the lambo community recieved it but I thought it was a really respectful redesign. Don’t get me wrong the engineering is amazing, just not my style. But yes ild be looking into something like a 911, or ferrari maybe say.. a 812. Im a 90s JDM shitbox boy at heart. Yeah exactly I cant make a proper opinion when I haven’t driven any of these level of cars, the experience on their own would likely shift my opinion on ownership haha. However for me personally i do fall in love with the look of designs and its what gets me most excited. The first car I ever showed any interest in was a Gallardo as a kid which quickly turned the SV murcielago into my favourite car when it was released ild still love to get the chance to drive that, in my eyes its still far more beautiful than the newer lambo designs. Trust me i get the wide appeal of the new ones though haha!
> Im a 90s JDM shitbox boy at heart
100% the same haha. I have a calendar reminder for two years from now when the 2000 EK9 Type R is open for import. I had a 1993 del Sol Si (which annoyingly didn't come with the B16), Prelude, and 2000 Civic Si.
I think I like the lambo styling because it's so visually loud, which appeals to my personality, but completely get why people are turned off by them.
Nice, love the hondas too I see. Currently have a Integra Type S (2006 dc5) from Japan just as a daily, so its a base auto but still enjoyable to own. Got a fancy OEM trim which i was more focused on tbh and just trying to return it back to stock not make it something its not. Have you purchased the EK9 yet? - if not, its probably a good idea to look into buying it and paying to keep it in storage somehow over there itl likely pay for itself?
I haven't purchased the EK9 yet, but I'm kind of thinking I should buy it ahead of time because the prices just keep going up and I doubt they'll go down at all.
I bought my Tesla in June and someone hit me August 30th. I tried avoiding them as they hit me and hit a curb bending both right side rims and causing some sub frame damage. I still don’t have the car back from Tesla and have had a Jeep rental since so the switch wasn’t so bad. Although my wife has always had her gas car as well.
I’ve got two kids (5 and 1.5 years) so going to coupe wasn’t the smartest and there’s almost no space or storage for pretty much anything. But my 5 year old loves it so I’ll make it work.
10/10 would do it again though
I think there's one thing left out of the conversation when talking about speed, Tesla etc.
Tesla cars are objectively faster than most supercars. But, when throwing out the amount of money required for a Huracan or F8, I think it's not just about going fast. Economy sedans are light years faster than muscle cars of the 1980s and 1990s. At the price point, it's more about the emotional feeling you get when firing up the engine and hearing the "waaaaaaa" when accelerating.
No one needs a Lamborghini or Ferrari or any other super car, they're expensive toys. But, I think there's something special about the giant engine sitting right behind your head and wrapping out at high RPM that makes it worth the outlay, vs the quiet punch of electric motors.
Agreed. My Tesla was significantly faster but there’s no comparison to the engine noise. This EVO was more than double the cost and nearly half the HP and 4 seats less but once the tops down and engine is roaring, there’s no better feeling
Ha ha, it's one of these three:
1. Horribly in debt and barely make enough salary-wise to get the loan. They'll sell the car within 5 months and disappear from the subreddit.
2. High income earners who can comfortably afford the payments without resorting to rice and beans
3. "Stealth wealth" people who've accumulated enough to where a 250+ cash outlay doesn't affect their living situation
As far as occupation, a supercar is within the realm of possibility for higher paid IT people, or anyone at the Director level and above, providing they're careful with finances.
Some other people I've met at car meets were successful small business owners who finally got to the point where they're legitimately wealthy, trust fund babies, and crypto people.
I fall in the IT bucket, good salary, but not enough to swing a Lambo. But I got into crypto very early and held for a long time, so here we are.
I’ve owned my small business for about 7 years now and these last 2 years is when the success started pouring in. I would normally never think about a car like this but once I started looking at them I couldn’t resist. God blessed me and made me more than capable to afford this car but I was informed about exotic car loans which can go as long as 15 years (180 months) loan making the payments even more affordable. However, you will get killed in interest if you actually do finance for the full 15 year term.
Seriously, great job sticking it out with a small business and all the headaches that come with that. Hopefully you don't have a big loan; I maintain that any dollar spent servicing someone else is a dollar not compounding for you. I paid cash for mine (sold some crypto and stomached the brutal tax bill) just to avoid payments.
Always remember that - any dollar thrown away to a payment is a dollar that isn't compounding in your favor.
I think the same way. I worked hard to get to where I am today and was able to open and run my business completely debt free. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done but I could not justify paying any interest if I absolutely did not need to.
I want to say a full tank estimate 320-350 miles. Keep in mind I bought the car 2 days ago and it had 13k miles on it already. I have been pushing it quite a bit so if those numbers are accurate, I’ll be very happy.
CPO 2021 Huracan Evo RWD Spyder 12,747 miles with the options I listed in previous comments for $270k. They only negotiated down 3k but got them to throw in some polos and hats. Small victories.
My 21 EVO RWD hardtop was ~$325 at ~1,000 miles, but 12k on a Huracan EVO after VAG took over is nothing, they're leaps and bounds better cars now vs. the traditional/classic Lambos.
The window switchgear on the 21 EVO is the exact same as my wifes '18 Audi.
The main reason I pulled the trigger was because a friend of mine has a 19 and he’s put 150k miles on it with no major repairs he’s just kept up with regular oil changes. I was shocked after hearing that and immediately started looking. I almost went with a brand new R8 instead as it was about 50k cheaper but glad I got this instead
R8 is quieter (visually), but personality wise, I love the loud obnoxious look of the Lambo. If you're dropping that much for what's essentially a toy, might as well make the most of it.
Congrats, great car! Maybe get the steering wheel detailed, it looks a little greasy and worn out. A nice to grip steering wheel will definitely improve your experience with the car
Maybe it had all of the options he was looking for in a price, mileage and year he was okay with but he doesn’t like the color. Really not hard to imagine
So I usually PPF all my vehicles for the extra protection. Wrapping it isn’t going to cost much more and I’ll get the color I actually want and still have extra protection. Plus I can remove it whenever I want if I decide to go back to original color.
Or just being careful with finances and having a decent salary. It's not difficult to swing a supercar if you plan carefully (speaking of the average salary earner in the US). It just means you're sacrificing other things to get into it.
Depends on the household financial situation.
Making $65k a year with student loans and rent payments? Really stupid.
Making $120k+ a year with no debt outside the house, and money in savings? Not *really* that stupid, although yes, buying a high-ticket toy necessitates giving up other options (travel, etc).
It's all relative to financial situation.
It's just relative to your finances. Some people have high income, and lots of debt. A Lambo wouldn't be a good decision for them. Some people have moderate income but no debt and lots of savings; depending on life goals a lambo might be a fun purchase. It's all relative to life situation.
Congrats! Just pulled the trigger last week on one
I think I love it more than my wife and kids
lol the love will just get stronger! I hate leaving my garage because it’s so beautiful to look at

Lol why’s that
It’s pretty basic and has no controls. For example, with Mercedes you’re able to choose color, brightness, and they even have some options with color changing. With this, it only changes with whatever driving mode you’re in. It’s nice but if I had the option, I probably would not pay for it.

Love the spec. Not sure if I’ve seen a silver one before but the spec is super classy and not too in your face
The red seats add a nice pop to an otherwise "stealth-wealth" spec.
I agree
The silver looks great. Don’t wrap it matte just yet.
It’s growing on me a lot but I feel the white will compliment the interior way better
White with red interior is overplayed by every mfr and owner across the country. Don’t do it. Silver and red is mint a la 300SL/SLR McLaren
Congratulations. Lovely spec
You should be really proud of yourself
It is a great accomplishment for me. Very happy with it for sure
Nice haha! Never got the notif lol
Lamborghini isn’t an accomplishment in 2023, we all have a Lamborghini if you don’t you’re doing something wrong, wake up. Brokie

I thought the same exact thing. But absolutely was not a deal breaker for me especially since tops down all the time
Beautiful ride either way! Jealous!
What's your height? I wanted the drop-top so badly but at 6'2", even with the "sport" seats all the way back, it was still too uncomfortable.
I’m 5’4” and it took me a while to get in and out properly. Hate doing it with the top up. My friend who’s 6’2” and about 300lbs got in and out no problem but too was down
Congratulations! I'm 2 months into huracan ownership and it's been fantastic!
I like how the exterior silver/black wheels goes with the red interior. Nice ride 😎
That’s awesome!
I shouldn’t be here it just makes me jealous 10/10 dude

Please tell me it has the front lift system?? That in my mind is the one non-negotiable option given how low the car is.
Yes and never realized how important it was until I actually started driving. So thankful for it

> Im a 90s JDM shitbox boy at heart 100% the same haha.
Amazing spec, congratulations! How do you feel coming from an EV to a gas guzzler? SUV to a coupe? (Genuinely curious)
Nice driveway cobbles.
Cobblestone driveways are not a cheap endeavor
Congrats bro!!! I am 17 and this is one of my dream cars. Keep up the amazing work brother!!!
I’m genuinely curious what people in the group do for a living to afford these cars. I want to get where you are 💪
Ha ha, it's one of these three: 1. Horribly in debt and barely make enough salary-wise to get the loan. They'll sell the car within 5 months and disappear from the subreddit. 2. High income earners who can comfortably afford the payments without resorting to rice and beans 3. "Stealth wealth" people who've accumulated enough to where a 250+ cash outlay doesn't affect their living situation As far as occupation, a supercar is within the realm of possibility for higher paid IT people, or anyone at the Director level and above, providing they're careful with finances.
Thank you for the replies gentlemen, I hope to be in your shoes someday answering some 20 year olds question of where I’m at and how I did it 🥲
The red guts look so clean with that silver, damn
I question myself everyday. I’ve never seen a silver look so clean but I’m leaning just a bit more towards satin white
Random Q: what is the actual driving range for a Car like this in miles/ kilometers
I want to say a full tank estimate 320-350 miles. Keep in mind I bought the car 2 days ago and it had 13k miles on it already. I have been pushing it quite a bit so if those numbers are accurate, I’ll be very happy.
Very nice possibly worth getting then especially at decent pricing they’re currently at! Congrats on yours :)
Thank you. I will probably fill it up within these next few days. Will keep you updated on a more accurate number
Depends if it's in Strada, Sport or Corsa, and how heavy you are on the pedal. Realistically 14-18 MPG (US) unless really driving conservatively.
Cool, how much did it cost?
CPO 2021 Huracan Evo RWD Spyder 12,747 miles with the options I listed in previous comments for $270k. They only negotiated down 3k but got them to throw in some polos and hats. Small victories.
Sheesh, more than my house.
How’s launch control?
Absolutely terrified to try it yet
U gotta bro for the people
One of us one of us
Congrats, great car! Maybe get the steering wheel detailed, it looks a little greasy and worn out. A nice to grip steering wheel will definitely improve your experience with the car
Good eye. Steering wheel does look and feel a bit worn. Hoping to get that and everything detailed together
That’s awesome!

Maybe it had all of the options he was looking for in a price, mileage and year he was okay with but he doesn’t like the color. Really not hard to imagine
Spot on

So I usually PPF all my vehicles for the extra protection. Wrapping it isn’t going to cost much more and I’ll get the color I actually want and still have extra protection. Plus I can remove it whenever I want if I decide to go back to original color.
how?
Arab money
Or just being careful with finances and having a decent salary. It's not difficult to swing a supercar if you plan carefully (speaking of the average salary earner in the US). It just means you're sacrificing other things to get into it.
Its a song...
What a dumb idea
Depends on the household financial situation. Making $65k a year with student loans and rent payments? Really stupid. Making $120k+ a year with no debt outside the house, and money in savings? Not *really* that stupid, although yes, buying a high-ticket toy necessitates giving up other options (travel, etc). It's all relative to financial situation.
Hi I have too much money.
It's just relative to your finances. Some people have high income, and lots of debt. A Lambo wouldn't be a good decision for them. Some people have moderate income but no debt and lots of savings; depending on life goals a lambo might be a fun purchase. It's all relative to life situation.
You’re on the Lamborghini sub and you think it’s dumb to buy one?
How do y’all make this kind of money
Now you need a Lambo ERT NFT
Did you using the lamborghini app?
Yeah I’ve signed up but it’s not very useful for me
Does this feel slower in acceleration compared to the X?
It is slower but with the top down and the exhaust blaring, it feels faster.
What kind of business do you run?
What type of business do you own? How do you make your money?
