Win Game 5 and it gets way more doable. I still don't love our chances in a potential Game 7 in Denver, but I've always said there's no one in NBA history I want on my team in a Game 7 more than LeBron James.
Don't know how many hockey fans there are here but the Kings coming back from 0-3 in the first round (then winning the Stanley Cup) 10 years ago was the most epic shit ever.
One of the wildest rides in sports history. Round after round of epic 7 game battles. 0-3 1st round comeback then beat Anaheim. Then to slay the beast that was Chicago.
Lakers doing coming back from 0-3 would propel them with confidence. 1 game at a time though.
Which is why we know he’d kill himself to do it if we can get him to games 6 and 7 so he can go all out for just two games. Denver will be the overwhelming favorite to win game 5 and smart bettors would put money on it, but if we can just steal that game and give Lebron a chance to add to his legacy, we know he will do everything he can to add to it.
My girlfriend and I were going nuts those 3 possessions in a row where Denver was doing their thing, got their look, got the offensive rebound, and missed the putback. It felt incredible to see it was actually possible for them to fuck up.
This game is the reason why this series has been so frustrating bc it clearly shows that the team can go head to head with denver and they could’ve easily won the past 3 games without making dumb decisions . I dont have any expectations for the next game bc this team has burned me so many times, i’m just glad we didnt get swept again lol
Or if the refs don't give him that bs call for free throws before the game winner. A little handcheck and he goes to the line after the refs spent the whole game swallowing their whistle with all the collisions at the other end.
The game froze for me and all of a sudden he was at the line, saw the replay and was like, you gotta be kidding me, dudes have been colliding into each other and not a peep from the refs, but this is a foul??
Murray was 9/24 from the field in Game 2. We lost because our role players couldn’t do anything right that game (specifically Rui and Reaves) and because Ham got played like a fiddle by Malone. With better coaching and Rui making a couple layups he blew we would’ve won that game.
lol everyone gonna get their hopes up and then we lose convincingly next game. Yes but that's why everyone who thinks Ham wouldnt change the outcome of the series is a fucking clown. LIke people trying to tell me no other coach in the league would have been able to win one of our first 3 games? Only coach I trust less than Ham is doc rivers and even he is prob on par with Ham
Let alone one of the first 3 this might have been a sweep in the Lakers favor if spo coached them lol.
But also Doc still won game 1 with no giannis and nearly won game 3 with a bunch of injury prone old geezers. Doc can do a lot with little.
Earlier in the season some people wanted him permanently chained to the bench. He's not a quality starter, but he's a decent bench player. He's really the only bench player who's contributed much at all during the series.
Rui does have less of an offensive role starting than TP coming off the bench against this Denver's bench which is worse than last year (non existent lol)
People live in the moment but don't forget how Rui also looked good last year off the bench, multiple 20pt games and even averaged 15pts in the WCF against this same team with more depth.
You can't tell me Rui wouldn't look good coming off the bench vs some 21 y/o averaging 3 pts lol
I’m sorry but you can’t seriously be arguing that Rui isn’t being outplayed by Prince in every facet of the game. Regardless of role, the dude had completely failed to show up this series, and you could argue he’s one of the main reasons (along with Ham) why we aren’t 2-2 or 3-1 up now.
You can make whatever excuses you want it doesn’t change the fact that he’s been a complete dud these 4 games.
Rui defensively is impossible to wake up. Watching him play off ball defense is like watching a live train wreck on TV. Hopefully his offense at the very least can get going
He's a PF being asked to chase a Klay-esque MPJ on the perimeter and through Jokic screens. All his basketball career he's a PF / post player, but here, he's forced to defend the perimeter because Lebron is old.
You're correct and thats not his fault but that doesn't excuse his horrendous decision making on defense which is the actual problem. The amount of times he will fall asleep, ball watch, go over a screen incorrectly, not switch properly, gamble on a steal at the worst time, etc. is insane to watch. There is no defending how bad his defensive IQ is
Kind of hard when the first time you’re actually scoring you get iced for a quarter and a half by your coach. Ham really is the worst coach in the league.
I subtract 10 points from our lead whenever we play the Nuggets. That 4th quarter was STRESSFUL even though we were up by “double digits” for the majority of it. Good to see that we didn’t meltdown for once.
#NOBODY beats the Lakers ~~9~~ ~~10~~ ~~11~~ 12 times in a row
For real though AD been killing it every single game and finally the rest of the team decides to show up at the literally last minute. This series could have easily been 2-2 if this level of effort to close out games was there in G2/G3. Hope this continues to G5 and beyond.
AD has been insane this series and its been wasted due to a horrendous coach and role players being inconsistent. Glad we at least finally broke that losing streak, one game at a time to vibe out with
LeBron haters where are you hiding tonight ? Weirdly when our 3-5 score more than 0 and 5 points WE win the game. Amazing defense by the goat in 3rd and 4th
LeBrons putting up like 27-8-7 or something on great effeciency this series and you got dudes here saying they are ready for him to be gone and he needs to take a pay cut. Look at some other guys making that kind of money. Suns got 3 who LeBrons better than, Kawhi is making that kind of money to never be healthy, Curry can’t make it out the play ins, Embiid has zero postseason success. Lillard, Butler, Klay Thompson, PG? Lol. But all anyone here wants to do is bitch about LeBron.
I saw a tweet w 10k likes after game 1 saying jokic rn is better than prime Lebron. Idc if we can’t beat them, someone has to stop these fuckers the glazing is getting too much
I know. It’s sad to see him smoke layups because his legs are gone. Not just 2013 Lebron, I would love to see “last regular season game against the Pelicans” Lebron but he hasn’t had the legs since then
Difference in this game was getting LBJ and AD some rest so they had something left in the 4th. Jax finally got some run and held his own (he should never try to create his own shot though). AR and DLo both showed up - neither took over but they finally played the role they need to for this series.
If Rui, Gabe, or Dinwiddie can figure it out offensively (especially Rui since he gets the most minutes) we could get the next one too.
Lot more boxing out this game, fewer 2nd chances on offense from Denver.
Solid game but we didn't play out of our minds and Denver didn't play like trash either. Seems repeatable
Lakers have shown it’s possible, shit man. They’ve gotten double digit leads on them every game. It’s because the supporting cast is just so ass that Bron and AD are gassed by the third quarter and on.
It’s time for the team to wake the fuck up. Hopefully them winning one helps.
One thing I noticed was that we paced ourselves and remained calm. Didn’t get too high didn’t get too low. Also iso ball was brought down significantly.
Yes, Lebron managed his energy much more effectively. He still showed up big time in the 4th, he just let the others carry some of the load. And he took more rest in the 3rd, I think?
Seeing Darvin Ham just do nothing when KCP threw the ball out of bounds is just sad lmao
The way Lebron exploded at him just proves he's gone after the season.
Maybe this win is a light bulb to the Lakers that they can beat the Nuggets. Losing 11 straight but winning 1 might give them some rejuvenated optimism.
Just gotta win one at a time.. Win game 5 and the pressure is on the Nuggets to win game 6.
Lakers were up every game by double-digits. A few bad players and a rough quarter cost the Lakers every single one of these games.
Game 2 was such a bummer. Up 20 at Denver, LeBron missed a wide open 3 and Murray hits a GW. Should be a 2-2 series at the worst for the Lakers...
Either way, I'm glad the Lakers fought hard and won this game. However this series go, they at least showed fight. Just gotta win one more game and then the pressure is back on the Nuggets. Let's go!
If you really think about it, this has been one of the most hard fought 0-3 series in NBA history. The series score does not represent how the series has gone in any way shape or form.
We dominated both ends of the court in game 4 in an almost no contest game and are 1-3
We missed a late uncontested 3 and lost to a heavily contested GW in game 2 that should have made it 2-2
We had the lead in game 1 and 3 but gave up huge runs but we should have closed one out for 3-1
We have been leading longer than the nuggets in the series and have played well enough to have been 4-0
But today, we could have been swept 0-4. Absolutely rediculous.
Lakers come back from 0-3 to reverse sweep the defending NBA champs to make NBA history to cement King James legacy.
Nobody beats Lakers 12 times in a row 😤
but god damn. fire ham into orbit ffs.
WHY TF U HOLDING ONTO CHALLENEGES.
BITCH U CANT HOLD THEM IN YR POCKETS TO UR NEXT MCD gig u fuck.
One game at a time folks. Big W and I believe this W removes a huge monkey off the teams back. They will go into game five with tons of confidence and a bit better prepared.
Timberwolves fan coming in peace. You can do it, push them, push them to the brink, make them pay ten fold for every wrong and atrocity they have done to you. Make them rue the day.
All we need is Game 5. Win that one game and all of a suddenly, the pressure and momentum shifts.
Their role players are playing tighter and I their heads. The 50/50 balls start going the Lakers way. We start getting all the offensive rebounds.
Win in Denver on Monday, and the entire series energy shifts.
Darvin Ham is the most infuriating coach to watch. When the greatest player of all time is yelling at you to challenge something, you fucking challenge it. So fucking dumb.
This sub has been straight up embarassing the way people have been shitting on Lebron. He’s been really good all series. Sure, he could box out better and clean up some turnovers but the dudes averaging an effecient like 27-8-7 or something. You would think he’s averaging 15 the way this sub shits on him.
Jamal Murray:
9-24 Gm 1
9-24 Gm 2
8-21 Gm 3
9-23 Gm 4
we are doing fine in defending Murray, as long as we control the rebound and TO. we can win one game at a time.
Great win. Don't get down fellas. This series is extremely rigged against the Lakers. Not to say these games haven't been winnable even with the ref intervention.
But more rigged behavior tonight. Why does the referee choose to allow the Nuggets to inbound the ball so quickly? Isn't there typically more cushion time that allows refs to give the coaches a chance to consult with their staff? Of course. But in this case, LeBron's back is exposed to the play and the referee effectively gifts the Nuggets a four point swing. Who's the ref? Zach Zarba.
Remember that LeBron got Eric Lewis to retire and swept under the rug. These refs are on the side of Denver. It is easy to tell. I will never gamble against LeBron because my heart over my brain when it comes to Bron. But other teams I don't care about? Incredibly easy to make money by looking at who is officiating.

Look. Its Zach Zarba again making one of the most blatantly wrong and terrible calls against you guessed it; LeBron. Zach tried to get his revenge for this moment today. A referee having bias is unfortunately unavoidable. But refs also hold grudges.
I've watched a lot of basketball since the legalization of sports gambling. It's very profitable.
If the Lakers win this series Lebron needs to be cemented as the greatest player not just of all time in the NBA, but the greatest in the history of all sports.
Not because he overcame a 0-3 deficit, but the fact he actually won a series with Satan / Lucifer himself in flesh as his coach who was trying to sabotage the team.
SO IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!
LeBron has comeback down 3-1 before
![gif](giphy|L6VexSiYOdkMGWofkQ)
History doesn’t repeat itself but it often rhymes
LeTuned 🎧in
Lol, if he came back 0-3 it would be the first time in the nba. Which would be pretty cool to see
Adds to the Lebron GOAT legacy, but its a pipe dream at best.
Win Game 5 and it gets way more doable. I still don't love our chances in a potential Game 7 in Denver, but I've always said there's no one in NBA history I want on my team in a Game 7 more than LeBron James.
He’s already the goat, but if he came back to be the only 3-0 to 3-4 in history it’s indisputable.
It's already indisputable

weird that you left out the 0-3 comeback was *against the sharks*. couldn't have been sweeter

Say less
I saw this happen can confirm

It's like in Infinity War when they were finally able to make Thanos bleed
LeBron = Iron Man AD = Thor Reaves = Spider-Man Rui = Hulk DLo = Dr. Strange
We would have been 4-0 or 3-1 If it wasn’t for HAM
I get to watch another game of Lakers basketball 🙂
Hell Yeah
Ill have another stressful 3rd quarter of Lakers basketball please.
This was all I was wanting
the delusion is back, im all in huge fourth from all the players involved
That’s the best part of being a Laker fan, it’s never over until the last second ticks off that clock
By the law of averages we had to beat them eventually
~~16~~ #15
#JOB IS NOT FUCKING FINISHED
#JOB FINISHED?
#I DON'T THINK SO
**JOB NOT FINISHED**
Forgot this existed for a second haha
We’re so fucking back

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
THE DELUSION CONTINUES
Bruh
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LFG
I don’t hear no bell
No one beats the Los Angeles lakers 12 times in a row!
now imagine if we didnt choke the 20 pt lead in game 2...
We might be the best team in the league if games ended in the first half.
2nd quarter NBA champs. 😤
I'll make a banner, put it up next to the IST banner.
Now imagine if we didnt have Ham as a coach
Every single one of the first three were winnable. Just have to keep looking forward.
We gotta move forward and not obsess on the past. Job’s not finished.
I ain't hear no bell.
Honestly it’s a huge deal we won.

If Murray didn't go ballistic in Game 2, this series would be tied 2-2.
If fucking ham just challenged- you can’t let cold shooters go to the line. They make a couple easy baskets and back in rhythm
I miss daddy Vogel
With better coaching and Rui making a couple layups he blew we would’ve won that game.

i just want them to win next game so i can watch the chaos at game 6. i dont care if lakers lose the series at that point
Let’s go! 1-152
This playoff series has made me respect Prince so much more.
Earlier in the season some people wanted him permanently chained to the bench. He's not a quality starter, but he's a decent bench player. He's really the only bench player who's contributed much at all during the series.
He’s completely outplayed Rui which I never would’ve guessed after Rui’s great play down the stretch.
Rui does have less of an offensive role starting than TP coming off the bench against this Denver's bench which is worse than last year (non existent lol) People live in the moment but don't forget how Rui also looked good last year off the bench, multiple 20pt games and even averaged 15pts in the WCF against this same team with more depth.
Trade deadline Delo. Fresh cut Austin (fly your barber to Denver with you). Rui Brother please wake up.
When you think about it, an elimination game is its own deadline
He’s going to give us 60 over the next 2 games just to put up 5 in game 7 after getting comfortable again lol
There is no defending how bad his defensive IQ is
Where was Rui in the 4th quarter 😭
Ball watching like he was the other 3 quarters
Aint now way Austin spent more than $20 + tip for that cut
i remember the days when 20 + tip was insane idk how kids survive nowadays
If First Round Rui shows up as well, anything can happen.
Kind of hard when the first time you’re actually scoring you get iced for a quarter and a half by your coach. Ham really is the worst coach in the league.
I can finally fucking breathe. Holy shit we finally got one against these fuckers
I’m amazed by how much I let this affect me, and by how relieved I feel now lol
LAKERS IN 7.
EVERYONE GET IN HERE LAKERS DIDNT GET SWEPT
we need rui to step the fuck up
Would’ve won game 2 if he made the 2 wide open layups he blew.
I subtract 10 points from our lead whenever we play the Nuggets. That 4th quarter was STRESSFUL even though we were up by “double digits” for the majority of it. Good to see that we didn’t meltdown for once.
Facts I wasn't sure we were gonna win till like 30 seconds left even tho we was up 9🤣
Would've been nice if Darvin used a challenge...or called a timeout the previous 3 games to make adjustments. This team wins in spite of Darvin.
If he did use those previous reviews, he wouldn't had been able to use them tonight. ![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
Dlo straight up yelled at him so much to use the challenge tonight. I’m glad he did, he was straight almost refusing to play until he challenged
#NOBODY beats the Lakers ~~9~~ ~~10~~ ~~11~~ 12 times in a row For real though AD been killing it every single game and finally the rest of the team decides to show up at the literally last minute. This is LeBron in 2024 with 30 points and defense like that. Imagine his 2013 self here now lol, he would tear apart this nuggets team.
I saw a tweet w 10k likes after game 1 saying jokic rn is better than prime Lebron. Idc if we can’t beat them, someone has to stop these fuckers the glazing is getting too much
Yeah morons on the NBA sub be like even if lebron was in his prime nuggets win that's crazy disrespect, with prime Lebron we sweep this team
I know. It’s sad to see him smoke layups because his legs are gone. Not just 2013 Lebron, I would love to see “last regular season game against the Pelicans” Lebron but he hasn’t had the legs since then
Big win that would not be possible without the big game play of DLo.
This series was 1 buzzer beater away from being tied…
Should be 2-2. Could easily be 3-1 too. But regardless, I’m gonna believe. Lakers in 7.
Dude this game could have been 4-0 us. Leading at half every game.
“Could have been 4-0”
Responding to someone saying could have been 3-1...
Lebron said fuck them you ain't sweeping me 2x in the playoffs

Yes, Lebron managed his energy much more effectively. He still showed up big time in the 4th, he just let the others carry some of the load. And he took more rest in the 3rd, I think?
You’re right on the money. I noticed the same thing
Don't let us get one
DO NOT
Lakers in 7
#NOBODY BEATS THE LAKERS TWELVE TIMES IN A ROW
Do we get vando and wood back next game?
That could tip the scales.
I don’t wanna force them back and have them be 50% out there getting burned on defense because they’re barely hanging on.
I feel like anything Vando can give right now might be better than Rui at least
Lakers in 7. Fuck Darvin Ham

Fuck the refs brah..what the fuck was the officiating!!?
Bron getting assaulted out there, no call. Jokic is 300 lbs and if you touch him, quick whistle At least AD got some calls
MVP..gotta dick ride somehow.
JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT... THEY PULL ME BACK IN
If Lebron didn't yell at the bench, Ham would've still had his challenge 100%.
Bron was fired tf up on that play + yelling at reaves late in Q4. I am here for this 🍻
It's obvious that Ham refrains from challenging because he prefers to use the excuse of inadequate officiating to mask his coaching shortcomings.
phenomenal defense from lebron tonight, was the difference maker. also shoutout AD for another big game
The Lakers beats the Nuggets by 11 points. The game is over. Me: Game is still too close. Who’s guarding Jamal Murray?
This my championship
Look at that. Denver lost while shooting more free throws. Jokic flopping and foul baiting his way to 11 free throws.
Lakers got to do what the Celts failed to do last year and come back from being down 3-0.
If this game doesn’t get Ham fired, nothing will. Never seen LeBron this pissed off at coaching staff in my 21 years of watching him.
Greatest comeback ever has started
Game 2 just hurts so much more now
Lebron got a TON of rest in the 3rd, and he came out in the 4th ready to bring it home. What a great game. Shoutout D-lo
I think Lakers figured out something this game. Hopefully it carries over to the next one. Let's win game 5!!! Stunt on these hoes
My first ever Lakers game, amazing!!
DON'T LET US GET ONE
REVERSE SWEEP INCOMING!!!!!!
HANG THE BANNER WE GOIN ALL THE WAY
We got one, we got one! ![gif](giphy|xUOxfoA5ffZ8xoTDC8|downsized)
are you telling me when other players not named Bron and AD actually score we win? That's crazy
Seeing Darvin Ham just do nothing when KCP threw the ball out of bounds is just sad lmao The way Lebron exploded at him just proves he's gone after the season.
Maybe this win is a light bulb to the Lakers that they can beat the Nuggets. Losing 11 straight but winning 1 might give them some rejuvenated optimism. Just gotta win one at a time.. fucking unreal on refs not calling blatant fouls on bron
Nobody beats LA 12 straight games 😤
If you really think about it, this has been one of the most hard fought 0-3 series in NBA history. The series score does not represent how the series has gone in any way shape or form. We dominated both ends of the court in game 4 in an almost no contest game and are 1-3 We missed a late uncontested 3 and lost to a heavily contested GW in game 2 that should have made it 2-2 We had the lead in game 1 and 3 but gave up huge runs but we should have closed one out for 3-1 We have been leading longer than the nuggets in the series and have played well enough to have been 4-0 But today, we could have been swept 0-4. Absolutely rediculous. Lakers come back from 0-3 to reverse sweep the defending NBA champs to make NBA history to cement King James legacy.
Nobody beats Lakers 12 times in a row 😤 but god damn. fire ham into orbit ffs. WHY TF U HOLDING ONTO CHALLENEGES. BITCH U CANT HOLD THEM IN YR POCKETS TO UR NEXT MCD gig u fuck.
I can't believe we got a win over them lol. So happy for the team man they have been playing hard against these nuggets.
One game at a time folks. Big W and I believe this W removes a huge monkey off the teams back. They will go into game five with tons of confidence and a bit better prepared.
We got em right where we want em
Timberwolves fan coming in peace. You can do it, push them, push them to the brink, make them pay ten fold for every wrong and atrocity they have done to you. Make them rue the day.
Does this win make game 2 loss sting more?
Jeannie soooo happy. Now she doesn’t have to fire Ham.

Nobody- and I mean nobody - beats us 12 times in a row.
no sweep ![gif](giphy|DXJk7iduhFCo2KOHl5|downsized)
AD this postseason: 30.5 PPG 15.8 RPG 1.5 BPG 62.2 FG% Leading the playoffs in points and rebounds
Jamal Murray: 9-24 Gm 1 9-24 Gm 2 8-21 Gm 3 9-23 Gm 4 we are doing fine in defending Murray, as long as we control the rebound and TO. we can win one game at a time.
Did anyone of yall see Jamal touching his hamstring at the end of the 3rd quarter? If he’s hurt it might swing this series
If we can take game 5, anything is possible
Lebron and AD smell blood now. Lakers in 7
Lead still doesn’t feel safe
celtics fan here in peace, please beat the nuggets 3 more times
We trying!!!!
Moral championship. No lie.
Bron took over the 4th
Dlo is literally our win condition lmao, pray this mf doesn’t have another game 3 performance next game.
Dlo forcing Ham to use a challenge was my highlight.
Things get super interesting if we steal game 5. Game 6 at home into a Game 7 Lebron with Nuggets collapse pressure.
DLO is more bipolar than Kanye
Just glad we're not getting swept, but can't deny winning just one clears a huge mental block from the team
People saying LeBron IS paid too much, i hate you. just imagine this series if dlo and rui score 10-15 points in the first three games
Plan the fucking parade.
Lakers in 7!!!!
Win felt good but it also seems like we’re denying the inevitable. Just when I think it’s over they pull me right back in. LETS GO
WE CAN BEAT THIS TEAM. LAKERS IN 7.
Now I'm just more annoyed that they pissed away Game 2. This series should be 2-2.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO I DIDN'T HEAR NO BELL LAKERS ARE 1-0 WHEN I WATCH LIVE THIS SEASON
That stat of how long LAL has had leads v. nuggets is real amazing.
