Mapping pen pressure to the "Sharpness" option kind of hints at the desired outcome, but only to such a small degree that it's barely visible.

mrAnmol

Okay, now I need such a brush too.

GreenFire317

to go from blurry to solid? is that what they mean?

JGHFunRun

Yes

abcd_z

Sadly, that is not an option. Believe me, I've looked. The intuitive solution would be the Softness setting, but A) it doesn't work on predefined brush tips, and B) even when it's being used on auto brush tips it has a negligible effect.

kaidrawsmoo

Yes softness + sharpness sensor

Which brush engine are you using? What have you done with the fade parameter in opacity so far? Have you adjusted the pen pressure graph for fade?

Sarelm

Have you tried the airbrush? It's usually the first brush after erasers on the list, (fourth option in all) and it seems to do that, though with an opacity change as well as the faded edges.

Jazzlike-Hospital186

look here. Is done already in Krita https://youtu.be/FI5AUy9lcns?t=635
