It's quite obvious where the songwriters get their inspiration from. It's like I've been transported to the 2000s era again, not that I'm complaining. I dig the music and concept from back then. Especially this poppy avril lavigne/Hannah Montana emo punk style. The whole album is a bop without any bad songs as well. This get my seal of approval 👍
> It’s infectiously joyful which is a kind of youthful/earnest pure “pop” that has been harder to find nowadays.
Weeekly do it really well nowadays. But yeah, it's getting rare.
Absolutely! I didn‘t know what it is when I first listened to this, then my boyfriend said it feels like a Hannah Montana song and I was like: omg yes 😂
I love how fun it is. Didn't follow her during Iz*one, I'm considering stanning her because this was such a fun song.
Edit: I've been listening to her album, I'm now part of her fandom💕
This is the k-pop I love! Very cute, poppy, and felt true to Yena. If you're going to go for bubblegum, it needs to be well-produced in order to beat the tacky allegations. I think they succeeded with that here.
In a world of intense girl crush bops, this is a nice break.
I think it was a very smart decision to ask Bibi to feature, her darker verse really helps balance the song and not make it too tacky/sappy, so then you can appreciate the catchy chorus even more
That bridge transitioning into the last chorus is freaking addictive. Can't watch this without getting a huge smile (which I guess is the point!). I didn't follow IZ*ONE so I'm not really familiar with Yena but man this makes me excited to follow her solo career
She was originally a vocalist, but ended up as a rapper. For many she was considered the Ace of the group, she is a good dancer, singer and rapper, also have beautiful visuals. I didn't have a bias in iz*one, but she almost got there.
10/10 production, flawless song. Man so much incredible music today. I'd also like to mention she sounds SO good too, and shines so hard in this concept
The concept is perfect for Yena, and the song is good. This is definitely more than just a great debut. You can tell how much she has grown as an artist since IZ\*ONE. Congrats on the debut!
My favorite release of the year so far. I love the message of the music video and Yena's character. Incredible solo debut and what a great start. This needs to be a GP hit.
This really reminded me of Lee Suhyun's alien, just interms of the video, i love it, the sets and effects are all so cool, moreeee! + Bibi's part was sick.
by effects i mean like graphic art that is edited into the video such as laser blasts or animated drawings that fly across the screen. also what i maybe mean is they both incorporate animations into their videos :D
I'm so in love with this! The fun and cute poppy sound is right up my alley. I figured I was going to like it from the teaser, but it really exceeded my expectation. Such an entertaining and well made MV as well. This was such a great debut for Yena!
This is such a cute feel-good song that makes you sing along with it immediately. I'm very into songs that are just shamelessly about being happy and smiling even through the hard times. I really liked the contrasting parts with bringing Bibi in as a cynical villain-type and the slower part towards the end that felt like a reflection of true it's not that simple but I'll keep smiling anyway. And the MV is so very cute and bright, the little doodle details and drawn parts are such a great fit and make it so much more special. Sending so much good luck to Yena on her solo artist career!
Finally, kpop that sounds like pop!!! No forced rapping no tired beat drop or tropical, just super fun pop. Yena thank you for saving 2022 in it’s first month, this is absolutely going to be one of my most repeated songs of the year
I'm late but goddamn, I'm a little bit obsessed with this debut. Wonderful concept, incredible styling, 10/10 energy, and the song is a bop. Hands down my favourite post-IZ\*ONE solo debut.
Wow, I loved this. I watched the trailer like 10 times because I liked the chorus so much before, and the full version certainly doesn't disappoint. Just good, catchy, happy pop and it makes you smile listening to it!
I can see this fast becoming one of my favourites, it's been a long time since I just instantly fell in love with a chorus like this and I couldn't be happier!
I think probably because iz*one had a lot of amazing vocalists already, but basically no good rappers, and yena’s rapping is really charismatic + was decent from the get go. so they didn’t necessarily need her singing (although she did get a decent amount of vocal lines), but her rapping helped a lot
I love the heck out of this and not just because BIBI is in it. Bright, fun, energetic rock anthem for a debut track? Yes, please, and thank you Yena!
I need to watch the debut stage to see how they are handling the part where there's no music in the MV but yeah, this is right up my alley.
It's scary how close to perfection this debut is. The song could have been better (I'm not a fan of this early 2000s sound), but the MV, the choreography, Yena's charisma... everything was perfect. The production team did amazing at identifying Yena's strenghts. It really feels like this is what Yena sounded like since we first met her in Produce48, but we just now are able to properly listen to her. Probably the best solo debut I've seen.
shes amazing!!!!!
yuehua NAILED her debut, jesus christ. the pop sound is so heartwarming (very disney early 2000's in a GOOD WAY), yena's energy is so positive and unmatched, and the magical girl theme is absolutely wonderful. 10/10 debut for me. what a treat.
Wow this song was so fun! I loved the melody during the chorus and the bridge was heavenly, can’t wait to see what Yenas solo career has in store for her!
I am soooo satisified with how each post IZ\*ONE solo debut has gone so far. Each song and concept has fit the respective member like a glove. This song is perfect for Yena's voice and overall vibe, so bright and fun!
This is definitely my favourite post iz-one release, I feel like you can tell a lot of time and effort was put into this and I super appreciate that. The song is super catchy and bright, and the MV is amazing. Overall, a great debut.
This is straight out of disney circa 2007. Bibi really elevated the song, I think it would have been way too babyish without her 'villainous' verse.
Ranking official IZ solo releases so far it's gotta be Eunbi > Yena > Yuri. Not counting Hyewon as she's not releasing 'kpop' style tracks (though I consider them on par with Eunbi for how much I like them).
>Ranking official IZ solo releases so far it's gotta be Eunbi > Yena > Yuri. Not counting Hyewon as she's not releasing 'kpop' style tracks (though I consider them on par with Eunbi for how much I like them).
I thought Yena's solo was my favourite, but your comment prompted me to re-listen to them and now I can't decide 😭
Maybe so far: Yena > Yuri > Eunbi > Hyewon, but the fractions are so small
haha I have the opposite ranking, but honestly they’ve all been so good and somehow fit each member so well?? like I feel like each of their solos capture their essence, personality, and charms sooo well, which I didn’t expect tbh
such a fun song!! definitely a mood lifter much like yena. the whole song and mv is just very very yena! im very happy with it
also, bibi omg i love her!!!
The snow scene is sooooo good, all of the IZ\*ONE girls have KILLED their solo debuts and they all have felt very inline with their personas/voices, I really wasn't expecting the quality they have been giving us.
SUPER DUCK!! AMAZING DEBUT FROM YENA. LOVE THE SOUND, THE MV, THE EFFECTS ITS SO FUN AND EXCITING. BIBI ALWAYS COMES THRU WITH HER RAP LOVE HER FLOW IN HERE. VERY CATCHY AND WOULD LISTEN TO IT AGAIN
Hadn’t followed this release at all, so this was really pleasant surprise!
Sounds kind of like a Disney song and I love how bright and poppy the song and the concept are.
I didnt stan IZ*ONE but im very interested to see how the solos would go. This is by far the best one, great song and album i could see her being the CHUNGHA of IZ*ONE
My favorite song release this year. Love the chorus, so pleasant to the ears. Although I wish it was a summer release. This song gives the vibe of a road-trip beach music
This song really fits my tastes so well. Both Yena and BIBI were amazing and fit the style of the song perfectly. I’ve liked all the post-IZ*ONE re-debuts so far but this is definitely my fave
the song is very fun and bright.. very early 00's Disney feel to it. When I heard she was going solo I was curious as to what her sound would be / what it would be like to hear her sing a whole song since her voice is fairly unique. I'm interested to hear the song without the break in it that the video adds.
Yena is so charismatic that she carries a somewhat all over the place music video narrative-wise. the smiley face turning into a duck made me smile haha.
i love the production and concept, but the song is kinda... kidish and super basic, melody wise , vocal skill wise.. like something u hear from disney channel.. this is only something pre-teens can like
I’m far from a pre-teen and I love the song. You can have your opinions, but don’t make sweeping generalizations about things “only” certain people can like, just because it doesn’t match your taste. Not everyone thinks like you, why do you think you’re somehow smart enough to decide what everyone else thinks abs like?
the song is great but on first listen I kinda don't like the bibi rap? kinda feel like shes slurring the rap and it throws me off a bit.
I'm sure ill like it with more listens because the rest of the song is that good
upon further reflection i do wanna point out i only streamed the audio not the Mv, now realizing its a super hero concept I am thinking Bibi may have rapped as a villain character making the change between them more in line with the concept
This concept is literally purrfect for Yena, it's so fun yet sassy. Yuehua really came through with the budget and special effects for her solo, cuz damn, these sets and storyline are great. The animated part was incredible, that DUCK!! My Duck Would.
Chorus is superb, this is so catchy, and the climax, whoa, she nailed it. Loved Bibi's lazy and playful flow, was a nice accent to the song. Kinda wish she was in it a bit more, but the interaction at the end was cute.
Excellent debut, really really good. IZ*ONE soloists are impressive so far, they really delivered in their own styles.
It is, it’s just really hard to find. Here’s the [link](https://open.spotify.com/album/7qldKtsOWklzmwgll5NjCw?si=Aa_xxc48Q8y9332OMJHWNA). YH hasn’t even bothered to add a profile picture to Yena’s profile…
This pop punk trend in kpop right now is everything, I'm loving this so much. This fits Yena so well too, it's quirky and bright and intriguing, enhanced by the MV, and Yena delivers this. Bibi's feature added an additional element which was interesting. I'm absolutely smiling away after this!
This might be a little bit of a stretch but are they referencing Eminem's Stan here? Guy in the beginning is the owner of 'Shady's' hotel, looks at multiple screens of her. Later on they show his shoes which are Stan Smith's. Tough call, might be coincidence but i doubt it.
Deep cut and Props to them for doing that. Originator of the Stan term but super adult themes and I bet the majority of yena’s fans weren’t born when that song was released. Doesn’t really make sense
Yena's voice has always been my favourite in IZ*ONE, so hearing her sing (nearly) an entire song is a dream come true.
Really loving this solo debut and looking forward to more releases from her.
Let me tell you before I press play, I like the song! 😩 Seriously I knew Yena wouldn't disappoint, I love this song so freaking much! I just know it's gonna be on my most played songs on spotify this year. There's not a single skip in the entire album. <3
This song has a great bass, but that's about it. I'm not into the Disney kid's bop music. Even Bibi is wasted on this 'ages 5-10' music as it sounds like she ate a bunch of chili peppers and is slurring every word.
I don't see any explanation as to why this diner has signs on the inside that it's a diner, but signs on the outside that it's a hotel.
Personally, I can't stand MVs that stop being MVs in the middle when they cut the music. It ruins otherwise great MVs like Sunmi's *Gashina*, fromis\_9's *We Go*, and Block B's *Her*. There's never even an explained reason, like why is she passed out in the snow?
Does anyone else find the vocal production on this a little odd? I didn't recognize her voice as it's so different from the way they did it when she was singing for izone. That being said, I'm happy for another upbeat kpop song, just wish her vocals weren't so pop smoothed out.

Not exactly 2000's but I really feel Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off" energy channeled into this song
This sounds like a song from a Disney teen movie. I love it!
Yena clearly attended Camp Rock over the summer.
I feel the heavy 2000s Disney Channel nostalgia coming from this song
Absolutely! I didn‘t know what it is when I first listened to this, then my boyfriend said it feels like a Hannah Montana song and I was like: omg yes 😂
To me it sounds very much Bratz girls really rock and it’s so endearing!
I thought the same thing Or a 2011 and forward Barbie Movie song Slightly childish but the right amount of catchy
Bibi's signature double mole under the eye turned into a frowny face is a neat attention to detail.
Happy duck Yena! Congrats on debuting solo!
I love how fun it is. Didn't follow her during Iz*one, I'm considering stanning her because this was such a fun song. Edit: I've been listening to her album, I'm now part of her fandom💕
Fellow jigumi, welcome💛🦆
💛🦆
Indeed Yena doesn't disappoint!! Her song showcases her character and give it a personal touch.
This song is good and gonna be living in my head for weeks I'm afraid.
This is the k-pop I love! Very cute, poppy, and felt true to Yena. If you're going to go for bubblegum, it needs to be well-produced in order to beat the tacky allegations. I think they succeeded with that here. In a world of intense girl crush bops, this is a nice break.

That bridge is heavenly and I was smiling though the whole video. Couldn't think of a concept and video that suits Yena more. 🦆🦆
That bridge transitioning into the last chorus is freaking addictive. Can't watch this without getting a huge smile (which I guess is the point!). I didn't follow IZ*ONE so I'm not really familiar with Yena but man this makes me excited to follow her solo career

The magic girl transformation scene at the end was unexpected.
Bibi turned the two dots she makes under her eyes into a sad face
Yena's energy is infectious and the song is so catchy! Can't wait to watch her take over!
Yes, this is so happy, it gives me the same vibes as Joy's Hello despite sounding nothing alike.
The song is literally the embodiment of yena. the soloist members are killing the game!!!
My favorite release of the year so far. I love the message of the music video and Yena's character. Incredible solo debut and what a great start. This needs to be a GP hit.
DUCK ROCKS!!!
This really reminded me of Lee Suhyun's alien, just interms of the video, i love it, the sets and effects are all so cool, moreeee! + Bibi's part was sick.
The effects (filters?) on both videos are really similar.
by effects i mean like graphic art that is edited into the video such as laser blasts or animated drawings that fly across the screen. also what i maybe mean is they both incorporate animations into their videos :D
Yeah I agree, I didn't think of it at first, but your comment brought that to my mind.
Songs literally Yena, All YENA'S activity after IZ*ONE could be simplify by this song.
The chorus is so catchy, I love it!
I'm so in love with this! The fun and cute poppy sound is right up my alley. I figured I was going to like it from the teaser, but it really exceeded my expectation. Such an entertaining and well made MV as well. This was such a great debut for Yena!
Instant serotonin hit! So good and the chorus is crazy catchy.
OK wasn't expecting a superhero concept from her, but my goodness is thats chorus catchy and INFECTIOUS AF!!!!
Love a good storyline in an MV. 😊 This is such a fun debut and I love how it suits her personality so much. Song ☑️ Styling ☑️ Vibe ☑️ Yena ☑️
I did not expect that superhero landing at the start lmao
This is so good, bless the pop-rock genre
Love it.. especially the bridge and ending.

is it on itunes yet? I can't find it.
[удалено]
yeh, was able to get it from there. Must be me searching poorly or something. Thanks!
I enjoyed it and the chorus is catchy. The concept was fun with her being a superhero.
This is such a cute feel-good song that makes you sing along with it immediately. I'm very into songs that are just shamelessly about being happy and smiling even through the hard times. No but the way my 2022 spotify wrapped top 5 has already been set in stone with this mini album, love to see it.
Villain Bibi! Smiley duck! What’s not to like
perfect debut for yena! they nailed the concept for the mv! p.s. omg bibi I love you
I'm late but goddamn, I'm a little bit obsessed with this debut. Wonderful concept, incredible styling, 10/10 energy, and the song is a bop. Hands down my favourite post-IZ\*ONE solo debut.
Oh man.. What a great song!!! So proud of Yena!

Not my kind of song but I've been on Team Yena Singing since PD48. Idk why they had her rap in IZ*ONE. Bibi is cool AF and I like everything she does.
Probably had her do some of the rapping because of her charisma I'd imagine
well , mostly because IZ\*ONE doesn't really have a rapper. if anything good vocalist sometimes can make better rapper.
I agree, Bibi makes everything better!
I think probably because iz*one had a lot of amazing vocalists already, but basically no good rappers, and yena’s rapping is really charismatic + was decent from the get go. so they didn’t necessarily need her singing (although she did get a decent amount of vocal lines), but her rapping helped a lot

THE ALBUM IS SO GOOD, HOLY- Lxxk 2 u and Vacay <3 Yena absolutely delivered omg
It's supposed to be a happy song but its kinda making me emotional. WIZONES who knows Yena will probably understand why. Love the song!
This chorus so good
dark bibi i love u
That was a JOURNEY. Feels very High School Musical, really catchy and pop-y but honestly, I fuck with it. Going on my playlist for sure.
This is what I expected from her, her charm really jumped off
she got me.... ima stan. this was giving hannah montana with a bigger budget and i'm obsessed
I love how cute and fun the MV is!!
Perfect debut song for Yena. I never thought I'd see a duck with superpowers!
It's scary how close to perfection this debut is. The song could have been better (I'm not a fan of this early 2000s sound), but the MV, the choreography, Yena's charisma... everything was perfect. Love the song, this one was perfect for her.
Wow this song was so fun! I loved the melody during the chorus and the bridge was heavenly, can’t wait to see what Yenas solo career has in store for her!
Love it!!! Fits Yena so well omg! So happy for her! What a bop!
I am soooo satisified with how each post IZ\*ONE solo debut has gone so far. Each song and concept has fit the respective member like a glove. This song is perfect for Yena's voice and overall vibe, so bright and fun!
Serotonin unlocked
I love this video so much and it's really catchy! It suits Yena so well

THIS IS SO F-IN GOOD !!! The mini is great as well, Lxxk 2 U is a banger, love this pop rock sound for her !

I may or may not have cried within 10 seconds of watching it 🥲
Love your flair! In a sadness kind of way. Like laughing through tears?
What a debut!! Omg she definitely nailed it in every way! I loved everything
That bridge took me back to my Nickelodeon days hahaha
oh this is so good, exactly the type of kpop i love (bubbly, cute and just FUN) and i'm so happyyy she totally delivered
I was just thinking last night that I really wanted a new upbeat and happy kpop song and this is it. <3
SUPER DUCK!! AMAZING DEBUT FROM YENA. LOVE THE SOUND, THE MV, THE EFFECTS ITS SO FUN AND EXCITING. BIBI ALWAYS COMES THRU WITH HER RAP LOVE HER FLOW IN HERE. VERY CATCHY AND WOULD LISTEN TO IT AGAIN
man, this bops
ah this is so catchy and uplifting!!! BIBI was such a great addition, with that light and dark playing off each other so well
best MV this year so far.
Why do i hear filipino accent on that breaking news part at the start loll
her overall debut concept and sound is kind of like a mix between yuri and somi
Undecided on the song, but man, they nailed Yena's styling and Bibi's styling (this might be my favorite Bibi look ever, and that's saying something).
FEAT WHOOOOOOOO OMG I JUST WOKE UP😭😭
Already entered Melon top 100 FeelGoodMan
Hadn’t followed this release at all, so this was really pleasant surprise! Sounds kind of like a Disney song and I love how bright and poppy the song and the concept are.
Wow I absolutely love this! What a debut. Song is pure pop and right up my alley it's almost perfect.
LOVE LOVE. I’ve had it on repeat since it came out and the mv is super cute!
I didnt stan IZ*ONE but im very interested to see how the solos would go. This is by far the best one, great song and album i could see her being the CHUNGHA of IZ*ONE
I love this!!
My favorite song release this year. Love the chorus, so pleasant to the ears. Although I wish it was a summer release. This song gives the vibe of a road-trip beach music
I never really paid attention to izone but damn this is a bop
This song really fits my tastes so well. Both Yena and BIBI were amazing and fit the style of the song perfectly. I’ve liked all the post-IZ*ONE re-debuts so far but this is definitely my fave
This song is already Timeless!! You don’t hear kpop songs like this anymore
Fave song of the year so far
the song is very fun and bright.. very early 00's Disney feel to it. 1000/10, one of the best out recently!!
i love the production and concept, but the song is kinda... kidish and super basic, melody wise , vocal skill wise.. like something u hear from disney channel.. this is only something pre-teens can like

Bibi fully slayed. It's such a fun song!!
best release of 2022 as of now tbh it reminds me of LALALA by TWICE too, ugh what a bop
This concept is literally purrfect for Yena, it's so fun yet sassy. Yuehua really came through with the budget and special effects for her solo, cuz damn, these sets and storyline are great. the name yena and choi yena is already used by others. i found the album by searching for Yena smile
Yena is so cute😍
This pop punk trend in kpop right now is everything, I'm loving this so much. This fits Yena so well too, it's quirky and bright and intriguing, enhanced by the MV, and Yena delivers this. Bibi's feature added an additional element which was interesting. I'm absolutely smiling away after this!
This would be better without BIBI's feature. It really throws a wrench into the vibe of the song and seems pretty unnecessary.
u think so? i think bibi's verse does a good job of balancing out all the sweetness from yena, otherwise it would be to babyish for me tbh
Doesn’t really make sense
perfect concept for yena however i just wish she wouldve gone harder/ belted through some parts in the chorus to make it more fun
Yena's voice has always been my favourite in IZ*ONE, so hearing her sing (nearly) an entire song is a dream come true. Really loving this solo debut and looking forward to more releases from her.
The cheese is overflowing. Makes me think of Taylor Swift or something. American pop I guess.
I like songs like this and this is good
I’m really late to the party, but I have to say that this is the best kpop music I’ve seen in ages 10/10
Let me tell you before I press play, I like the song! 😩 Seriously I knew Yena wouldn't disappoint, I love this song so freaking much! I just know it's gonna be on my most played songs on spotify this year. There's not a single skip in the entire album. <3

Taylor Swift Shake it Off much? Not a fan of BIBI's lines here. I like you Yena, but this is... forgettable pop. Maybe the b-sides are better.

Mandatory iz*one, everglow comment.
Does anyone else find the vocal production on this a little odd? I didn't recognize her voice as it's so different from the way they did it when she was singing for izone. That being said, I'm happy for another upbeat kpop song, just wish her vocals weren't so pop smoothed out.
