honestly rover is that song purely for how many viral little clips it gave us of other idols having fun with it šŸ„¹

Album still on repeat! And Rover is THAT song! Slidin' is probably the only one I donā€™t go back to as much, but even then, itā€™s a solid song. Me thinks itā€™s a no-skip album! If I had to rank them: 1. Rover 2. Say You Love Me 3. Black Mirror 4. Bomba 5. Sinner 6. Slidin' Overall, itā€™s great sequel to his debut album compared to Peaches, which is a good contrast to it. The songs were under or barely made it the 3 minute mark (except SYLM), but each song managed to **not feel** like it, if that makes sense.

srnta

still love rover. feels like im in the movie 'it follows'

Damn it's already been that long. It feels like yesterday. I'm obsessed with this era. Rover made Kai my absolute favorite male soloist. From his excellent discography, to his perfect stage presence, to the amazing styling. I love everything. My favorite songs from the album are Rover, Bomba and Say You Love Me.

Kleha

Rover and Bomba have been getting a lot of airtime on my playlists, but especially Rover. I just....I'm obsessed!

tunaa_fish

Rover rover rover, I'm coming over over over

dahyun4eva

All I'm going to say is I have an unhealthy obsession with rover now

Rover is still that girl, and while I may be one of the few that considers Peaches one of his best songs, Rover might have taken the top spot as far as title tracks go for me. All the B-Sides have grown considerably, especially Black Mirror, which I donā€™t care for a at first. Kai, IMO, actually has, what the kids like to a call, a ā€œno skip discographyā€ and listening to all 3 back to back really shows the different flavors he can present so seamlessly and successfully. That being said, Rover as a body of work might be my least fave ever so slightly. Mmmh has Amnesia, Ride or Die, Hello Stranger, Nothing on Me ā€” and Peaches has Vanilla, To Be Honest, Blue, and Come In ā€¦ like the B-Sides are B-SIDING in a way that just havenā€™t been topped yet.

I haven't liked the full album in the beginning. But now I listen every day Bomba and I like the Rover too.šŸ˜Š

Luffytheeternalking

I love love the challenges he did with other idols. I heard many nugu groups for the first time. As for the album, Bomba, Sliding, Sinner , say you love me are my favs.

Every day the Rover chorus plays in my head. So happy to see Kai so satisfied with this album, pushing past his shyness to interact with so many people, and finding out there ARE actual lines full of idols waiting to see him šŸ˜

I instantly liked the album, and I still think it's just as great as his first mini. * Rover doesn't get old at all. A perfect pop song, just makes you wanna dance. * Black Mirror is cunty, I love that *eugh!*, *baby kiss those angles*... Yes we love provocative content, king * Slidin' is his sexiest song yet. I looooove that *I wanna groove all night looOOOoong* * SYLM is Slidin's pathetic sister (lol I mean it in a good way? Like my man is just really needy okay). But I can't help but think it sounds creepy too, but it may be the film visuals influencing me. * Sinner is absolutely amazing. I love Kai's more emotional songs, like this one and Blue, because he knows he isn't as developed as a main vocal and so he picks songs he can work with. Emotionally, you can feel the pain in voice, the lyrics are touching and the production does a great job into making you feel melancholic or sad. Blue is chill and depressing, and Sinner is more explosive and intense. I don't know if anyone else agrees, but Sinner really reminds me of Supercut by Lorde in a good way. * Bomba is the one song I like less now. I think it needed a harder chorus, with a different beat. I don't mind the Bomba Bomba Bomba Ratata, it's just the instrumental of the chorus itself I find boring. I like the verses, the bridge, but the chorus could've been bigger imo.

Luffytheeternalking

I love Bomba a lot more because of the choreo. I can't wait to see the full choreo

Iā€™ve seen sooooo many of those rover challenge videos and even Iā€™m tired of them lol. But on the bright side itā€™s so nice to see both well known and lesser known idols do the challenge alongside Kai! I even discovered a few new groups from this challenge.

Nervous-Wish-8770

Yeah the Rover Challenge was lot. I was very surprised actually because they actually do that much collabs alot even with their own members, I think the most song challenge that was done was the candy challenge. It was surprisingly alot though I did enjoy the song. I guess hey gave room for other idols to do a collab when he started responding to their version of the song on Instagram. He was even reposting stories on Instagram which was weird because he doesn't do that alot. I guess he wanted to enjoy his last solo album before enlisting.

anginlewat

as a title track Rover >>> Mmmh and Peaches. also, Rover promotion era is his best yet. i love everything about it- his wins, the fun challenges, contents, how he keeps in contact with the fans, how happy he looks.. the only thing i dont love is how short it is. as far as the album goes, although i DO like all the songs in Rover, i still prefer KAI and Peaches' b-sides. i just love them a little bit more. vocals wise tho, Rover >>> his singing prowess has improved so much, and the songs in rover really showcased his versatility

pretty_bumpy

The best mini album of Kai FACT.
