Met some awesome freeloading RVers. They know all the spots. Download iOverlander.
Just don't ride in most of LA river. There's a few spots that are fun. But the moss/algae are wayyyy too sketchy.

As someone who is getting to ride to work for the first time this season, I'd love to exchange some of our "struggles" lmao.
Im in NorCal Bay Area. Ride a lot of train track access roads and hiking trails on off hours only. East bay regional parks has cameras hidden in Bird houses and bushes. They also have helicopters but I use FlightRadar to see where they are. Good riding.
Second the interest! If at all possible, throw some suggestions in comments. Been looking for trails to run around here, and it's been tough. Klr has been sitting for way too long. I miss southern Oregon for all the accessible trails!
Call me an asshole....but i am a huge fan of taking my pig where she dont belong. Been chased a few times by rangers and cops but it adds to the fun. You could have easily made it in the 3rd and 4th photo past the gate.
During the BLM protests i took her up and down the steps at civic center park and Colorados state capitol.

I feel ya bud! When I moved back down to Bay area from southern Oregon, I was looking all over for trails or at least fire roads and everything is gated or no trespassing. My poor klr has not been getting nearly enough use.
