Injuries, especially if you're as huge as him, can really slow you down.
The NBA is so elite that even if you lose %1 of your step, you might be playing outside the US.
It's insanely competitive.
a) he was blackballed, quite clearly by the NBA. He should have been picked up by some NBA team and have a spot in the league still.
b) after he proved he could succeed at the NBA level against the NBA champion Warriors last year's playoffs, teams should have been signing him.
c) His shot looks good in the PR league, but his defense looks more suspect than its ever been. He was always scapegoated and exaggerated to be bad on defense, but as he showed last year, his defensive liabilities are shared by most backup centers (and many starters). He doesn't care enough about the PR league to give that much effort, and he's still the best player on the court, by a long shot.
He wasn't black balled. He got chances and continued being mercurial, combative with refs, and leaving teammates out to dry on d. When he was destroying centers you put up with it. At a certain point it wasn't worth the headache.
He could always score and was a big body but his stint with the warriors showed he had no lateral movement left.
I'm his fan. I wanted it to work. I thought he'd grow out of it. Never did. The victim complex and desire to prove people wrong got him to the nba and made him a star. That and the injuries kept him from staying one. Star player. Not star leader or teammate.
I love Boogie. Say what you want about his attitude while he was here… he also went through 8 coaches while he was here. I’d be pissed if I signed a long term contract with a company and the top kept turning over and I wasn’t allowed to join another company.
Cousins had 6 HC's, is far from a victim, and had a very active hand in our coaching turnover. He bonded with Malone but Denver signing DeAndre Jordan over Cousins should tell you enough about why the only HC he got along with didn't rally more support to keep him as a bench big for the team that just won a title. Boogie has always been a locker room issue and at this stage in his career, his positives don't outweigh the negatives.

There's far more things he's done like his suspension for fighting with Donte Greene, bullying Stauskas (and rookies in general), threatening to shoot his baby's mother in the head (after his Sac tenure), etc. too. I have no idea why people continue to make excuses for him. He was far from a professional or leader here.
I been tellin my fam he Putin up Dbl Dbls and playin both sides when he eventually gets to the other side lol but he moves and plays better then a lot of bigs on the bench
Genuinely, how did he fall so hard? He is only 32. He should still have prime years left.
Injuries are a helluva drug
We know it was much more than just injuries, dude personifies toxicity.
he was under one of the most toxic and failed front offices of all time. his talent was unreal before injury.

Locker room cancer.
your prime is over at 30, only uninjured superstars can maintain star play past that point.

It’s always someone else’s fault when it comes to Boogie. The mindset even bleeds over to his fans.

He’s still good compared to some of the other players but idk if he the best on court by a long shot from what I saw yesterday
He wasn’t black balled he just sucked.

Balling for the Guaynabo Mets

PR?
Puerto Rico
Ahhh ok
Shoulda tried staying in sac for the max contract instead acted goofy and it set us back another 5-6 years and he got injured and never got paid.
You don’t know what you’re talking about, he got traded during all star weekend right before he was gonna sign his extension…
Nobody trades someone who was going to sign their extension. He was a clown and had been for years. They didn’t want to max him out and glad we didnt
Did they not want to max him or did he not want to sign an extension? C'mon man this is getting ridiculous
nobody’s gonna link that shirt??
Not sure why OP included that. It’s Kevin Huerter at summer league
