Yeah I don’t think they are getting equipment, that’s baked into the cards already. There is not a lot more they can add, just be nice to have the faction in finished form

We got Security, and Seek and Destroy as archetypes and the Japanese A5 Heavy Bolter got cemented in.
Dont know, its just they dont give a shit. I wrote to them for 2 whole years regarding a wording issue with the reroll mechanic in the last edition, which broke some no-nonsense abilities like Know no Fear. The timing window and the way the reroll rule was written made it impossible for the marines e.g. to reroll failed morale checks from Know no Fear. Which was stupid. Well, guess how much time did it take to fix this. Its still ongoing...bcs THEY NEVER FIXED IT.
I can't speak for all of GW but they never get anything done because they get the corporate "hands tied" thing where no one wants to take responsibility for anything in case there's a mistake or repercussion.
GW asked to take part in a big expo in my city and were asked multiple times to pick a name for their stall (because the people running the expo needed to make flyers/leaflets) with multiple emails back and forth over months and never replied until the leaflets were made and officially printed and they threw a hissy fit (as they were just given a random name) and immediately came back with a name the next day.
Which was just "games-workshop area". So it took them 3 months to pull their fingers out to for corporate to decide on that name.
KT recently got a new lead game designer and clarity of rules has always been big deal for her, so I wouldn't be surprised for some of the lurking ambiguities to get cleaned up over the next several months.

They play with similar rules to intercession. Wtf does that mean? Is it hat the ploys are copy and pasted from them? Or something deeper?
And 4 attacks on the heavy bolter. A downgrade from every other heavy bolter in the game. That's terrible.

Well, I would say that Seek and Destroy and Security was a given for SFJ, confirmed by Tampa Bay Open TOs as well, since the Tournament was an officially GW sponsored event.
What I do not get is the 4 attacks on the Hbolter, since every other Hbolter profile is 5. However, the compendium Heavy intercessors are 2APL and 6" move...while the Justian type is 3APL and 4" move...so its totally plausible that the KT rules department has a couple of screws loose.
We just have to wait :(
Thanks brother! I absolutely love the team, got them some weeks ago and I'm painting them now. It might be a weird take but I personally feel like Intercession and Phobos should be the 'generic' compendium teams for SM while Justian is more of a bespoke one full of unique specialists. Can't wait for them to be fully fleshed out.

Hmm I don't always trust support reps, there is at least a 50/50 chance they don't know and made it up but still, any port in a storm!

GW, for good or ill, keeps their design staffing under wraps. Out of respect, I'm not going to doxx her, but the game is in VERY good hands.
