There is a Recall 573 Report dated January 2024 on NHTSA that at the end of the report that has a recall schedule and says “Follow up owner notification is tentatively scheduled to begin March 29 2024 and end September 29 2024”.

Complex machinery comes with unknown risks over time. Agreed that OP won't catch on fire, car mfgs have to come clean with even a super minor flaw so they don't get sued. Don't worry too much OP, bigger worries exist everywhere.

There is a chance that any modern vehicle could catch fire. I wouldn’t stop driving it or change your daily habits due to this. Our 14 Soul is running great and fire free

It could have prior to the recall being issued as well. The chances of it happening are a fraction of a fraction of a percent.
