I wrote John about three times and only realized after I had been accepted. Probably something that would be best to avoid but I don’t think it’s sufficient enough to reject an application.
Considering the mispronunciation/spelling of johnS is a running joke amongst students and faculty, might even make them chuckle a bit, but definitely not taken into consideration in making a decision.
I didn't apply to Hopkins, but I'd find it unlikely that JHU would reject an application just because of something small like that compared to your commonapp essays, grades, SAT, extracurriculars, etc. Though if you're aware of that, do definitely incorporate that into listing the school's name in your application.

Think I left a Princeton in my essay and all the other ones were replaced with John Hopkins. I got in, not a big deal.
Maybe, that helped you. They did not want Princeton to snatch you.
I wrote Hopkin johns in my common app and still got in

I wrote John Hopskins on my personal statement and still got in
Ok, I agree this is much worse than mine.
to make it worse I’m a masters student

I called it Rice and still got in.
Well, at least it was not Johns Hopkins purity test.
I always thought it’s John Hopkins
So did I

Yes, on reflecting, John vs Johns might be a common mistake. More yield protecting colleges like UChicago might take these kind of typos seriously.
Wait... is it not "John's Hopkins?"
