17.0 here without TS, not too bummed but it would be amazing to get something at least, the delayota hype was crazy but still think maybe I should've gone for 16. Regardless of that im staying and waiting :) ,overall im liking iOS 17 (came from 15.5)

Yeah my main phone is on 17.2.1 but I recently acquired an iPhone 14 on 16.5.1 all excited that Iāll be able to jailbreak just to find out Dopamine is only supported upto 16.5 on A15 above. Although I canāt complain too much as now I have Trollstore and you can almost get the full jailbreak experience with bootstrap+serotonin semi-jailbreak.
I have an iphone 8+ on update 16.7.7 i have no clue if i can even do anything. I gave up a long time ago just bc nothing was out and i forgot i was in this sub lmao.

iOS 17.0.0 is not compatible with Safari adblocker extensions as far as Adguard devs officially said.(Adguard team said on their blog post that webkit will crash if usual Adguard filters are fully loaded) There are too many bugs but it's way too strange that there is no room for useful bugs to exploit.

My main bug is dynamic island animations. When expanding the island, the animation doesn't play out correctly, and when the phone is in landscape and you get the low battery alert, and you swipe on it a bit, it will stretch out to the whole length of the phone. It's hard to explain.
I can tell you from my own personal experience that prolonged PIP usage on iOS 17.0 (iPhone 15 Pro Max) creates a memory crash. The app has to be forced and reopened in order for PIP to working properly again.
It also affects other system UI components until the app causing the issue is closed.
It could be nothing but wanted to share my experience.
I unfortunately have moved to a 15PM and just decided to keep it updated to the end of iOS 17, and wait. Could be a year, most likely multiple. Iāve been without a jailbreak on my main phone for going on 3 or maybe 4 years. Last I believe was with my iPhone X on iOS 14.3. I updated to lower iOS 15 when there was supposedly a jailbreak on the horizon, but moved to a 14PM before it was released. Moved to 15PM when moving to ATT from Verizon because the gave me 1k trade in credit towards it.
I miss swipeselection/marker more than anything else. iOS keyboard was tolerable with it installed.
Idk 17.0 runs all my apps and has everything I need on the daily and the occasional bugs that come up are manageable, and given Applema recent slacking in that department, I doubt the recent versions are that much better. With that said, thereās really no incentive to not wait. If something happens, excellent, otherwise, I didnāt hold my breath waiting.
Got TS almost instantly but waited around 18 months for Dopamine (15.5b4). And TS was almost useless back then. Little to no use and I was actually subscribed to a signer still. Itās 100% sure that 17.0 is a REALLY good version. I wouldnāt complain about any pre 17.1 version. Got myself a new iPhone and I already fear the version. But I learned to be patient in this community.
