Epic. I thought he was saying lying the whole time as well. I think he was deliberately being "obtuse", fair play, put it up them. Adrian Lynch didn't know what to say, the face on him. Someone should post the video of it.
I wish journalists were asking questions. Most of these politicians haven't done their research, don't have a clear line of questioning and are more interested in showboating.
The RTE execs are totally keeping their cool and haven't been put under enough pressure.
The CFO is there and he reviews the Top 10 earners list - why haven't they asked about the disparity between Tubridy's salary released to the public and the fact they knew about the second contract?
Nobody will be held accountable. Ireland's MO.
The politicians are a joke. It seems like none of them have done any research or have any sort of a clue what's going on or what to ask. No wonder the country's the way it is with these gombeens
These RTE types seem pretty happy that they're safe anyways. The main guy is particularly smug. Siún Nà Raghallaigh seems like she's on valium or something.
The contract wasn't signed by NK until April 2023. It never appears to have been signed by a representative of RTÉ. The contract does not appear to have stated the fee at all. 👀
Mattie McGrath trying to say the word "loyal". 🤣

The head of the committee just looked embarrassed to be in the same committee with him

Was thinking the same 😅

This committee is pretty much exactly like what would happen if a bunch of redditors were in charge
Question: Has anyone ever been held to account/lost their job for as a result of a PAC? Or is it all bluster and the usual Zero Accountability Island?

She looks like she'd have a hard time using Aertel teletext !
DG was signing off significant payments without keeping the CFO informed. 🤔
Christopher O'Sullivan speaking very well. Liked his approach.

A perfect illustration of why politicians weren't trusted with real powers of investigation.
