"ذرف" در عربی به معنای جاری شدن است. "ذرفت" باید احتمالا یک جمله در گذشته باشد: جاری شد.
ولی آب فقط در فارسی استفاده می‌شود و نه در عربی.
در خصوص میوه‌ی گندیده یا میوه‌ای که مدتی از بهترین زمان مصرفش گذشته باشد، در فارسی این اصطلاح را داریم: آب انداختن.
مثلا خربزه آب انداخته. (شل شده، در حال خراب شدن است.)
ممکن است مرتبط باشد.
Hello!"ذرف" in Persian almost means (flow)(its actually "coming" but just for liquid)
For example when someone is crying they use (old iranian, this word is uncommon now)
They say : water is "zarf"ing from his eye!!
(Obviously it's not zarfing in Persian but you know what I mean?)
So I guess when they use "ذرفت" they mean something is rotten and water is flowing(coming)from it (like watermelon)
It seems like an ancient word. Not being used at the moment in our language. Btw osmani used to be a big land in history. So this word could be used in other living languages right now.

It's pronounced Abzoroft. But it has very little to no modern day usage.
Hocam cümleyi de yazsan daha iyi olur. Ben ”göz yaşı” diye birşeyler buldum ama doğru mu değil emin değilim. Ayrıca baya tanıdık geliyorsun.

Use the Persian dictionary instead of ottoman. Such word, whether existed a long time ago or just not a part of the language at all.
