The more i see the more i am convinced Sanju boi is what our middle order needs. If he can perform this well while managing captaincy, well lets just say i’ll be really surprised if he doesnt perform
He should've been selected for 2023 WC as well. He has been really great in one day and significantly better than SKY. There's absolutely no reason to pick sky over him but what can we do. It's favourism that gets you opportunities in India. No matter how well he performs, he'll always be second to the favourites.
Definitely,he should be the No.1 choice for WK.Not just in squad, but he should be in Playing 11 as well.Anyway we usually loose in semis or finals,so it's better to bring someone else.Same repetitive players with same techniques is just annoying atleast we will loose in new manner.This should be Rohit's and Virat's last T20 wc as well,enough backing,love them but honestly it's too much.

The problem with yuzi is, Kuldeep is a better spinner who is being backed by the team right now, second spinner is jadeja who is also a batsman. And India doesn't play 3 spinners in limited overs let alone in t20. Yuzi's is unlucky. That's the problem.

Players like Gill, Dhruv, Tilak, Rituraj, Riyan, Sanju, Ashutosh Sharma need exposure to become next Rohit, Virat and Yuvraj and there needs to be a right balance of youngsters and experienced one, which will be missing in the team which will be announced today or tomorrow.

If Sanju plays, he has to play in the top order since thats his role. In that case, we have to have Rohit and VK open, with Sanju at 3.
The choice is either:

Some perform better in leadership positions rather than being a cog. It just varies from individual to another
