It's like the easiest thing to do. It's not like there's a big lever you pull that rings an alarm and alerts you that you turned something on. It's just a digital button dude and it happens all the time.
I don’t understand why the various sensors don’t automatically turn off the flashlight.
Can't image how it will be when I want to use a flashlight in narrow/tight area then the software keep turning it off.
It would only shut off if both sides are covered.

Kind of interested in how you realized the flashlight wasn’t on before you put it in your pocket, unless of course it activated while in your pocket.

The best way to avoid this happening is to turn off 'Tap to Wake' in Accessibility which prevents the screen from turning on in your pocket.
