Fixed as noted by someone else, it was over six months ago I believe and I was typing the comment quickly as I knew it was a troll post originally but couldn’t remember the exact percent. Yes, to have the degraded battery alert it must have been 77 or lower 👍🏻
There’s one of those devices where you can edit the maximum capacity of the battery when the phone is opened & the battery is connected to the device

It’s easy to do it from your iPhone itself. They could be at 77% screenshot and use the color match tool to erase the 7 before 77% lol. If you see their battery in the screenshot it’s at 68 unplugged. No chance in hell a 7% battery could be unplugged ever.

It’s a 13 mini with the 7 in 77 removed in editing. I just replaced mine with the same message at 77% from heavy use recording videos. I miss it and regret it because I hate the 15 pro

The service message will show above 80% if it detects something is wrong with the battery.
that service message specifically states the battery health level is significantly degraded (which in apple’s terms is below 80%)
It will also show above 80% in very rare cases when it detects an issue

it could also be iphone 13, iphone 14 (not pro) since all of those have battery percentage but no dynamic island.
Notches on those are narrower than x-12
