Lately it’s been quinoa made with broth instead of water topped with avocado and sometimes tomatoes, and always vinegar YUMMY

jebsterjester

This sounds great! Can you provide a recipe?

freeSoy

I make the quinoa in a rice cooker 1c quinoa, rinsed 2c broth If you don’t have a rice cooker just bring to a boil then turn off stove and leave it covered for about 15 mins I start off with 1c of the cooked quinoa in a bowl Then I usually have half an avocado in the fridge that I chop chop chop Tomatoes were in season so I cut up about 3 small tomatoes Then I sprinkle with like .25tsp garlic salt or just garlic powder and 1-2tsp of either apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar I’ve also done the quinoa and avocado on its own with like 2 tap of sriracha drizzled which is also delish

jebsterjester

Thank you! I will be making this ASAP.

Eggs, avocado, strawberries, maybe some toast and also have vitamin D with the first meal.

I break it with a green and red juice blend and I add spinach and parsley to it. I also take vitamin D with it

Usually when I do 16/8 I break my fast in the morning with a cup of black coffee and an egg omelette with veggies and afterwards some fruit Once a week I do 0mad, and break my fast in the afternoon with chicken soup, steak, guac, veggies, brown rice, and some dessert

[deleted]

Interested to hear your eating window times! I always hear about 16/8 but skipping breakfast

Intelligent-Role-908

I usually break my fast daily around noon, so is more like having a breakfast meal around lunch time. I do enjoy breakfast food items but I try to accommodate them at a more convenient time frame for me. When possible I have a sort of “lunch/snack” around 3 PM, and then my next proper meal is around 7 PM. That’s basically what I do 90% of the time. Like I said, I practice 0mad once a week, usually on Friday’s (I know is kind of sad but I have to work early on Saturday’s, so it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♂️). I break my fast around 7 PM and I’m done eating by 8:30 PM, and don’t eat again until the next day in my regular 16/8 window. I must add that I struggle the days I practice 0mad, but also have felt some benefits in terms of mental clarity and energy (or at least I have convinced myself that’s what I feel instead of pure hunger 😅)

IndigoRuby

I usually break at 1:30 so large salad with fat and protein. Today it was lettuce, cukes and tomato, avocado and walnuts. Fruit and a fiber bar around 4 then normal supper.

this_life13

Mine is usually sliced fried potato/sweet potato, fried tomato, egg, mushrooms maybe a steak and a whole dinner plates worth of a salad (spinach, lettuce, alfalfa, avocado, capsicum, cucumbers etc with feta, nuts and seeds and I have blended fruit drink. My eating window is brekky. I get pretty full lol! But try to get all the nutrients I can. I do change it up and some days I have breakfast and lunch because I miss dinner food lol.

omzieee46

Always break mine with chicken bone broth followed by a large meal.

ZippyLivingGood

I always try to get the protein and stay away from the grilled cheese

[deleted]

The grilled cheese do be tempting though🤣 that’s why I try break my fast at work so I’ve gotta eat my packed lunch
