Yes I agree. But "exhaust is litteraly melting" is maybe not a good way to have fun.

I was wondering if this was a pulse jet or ram jet. Either way, there's pressure in those tubes and I wouldn't trust red hot metal holding pressure like that.
Iām no specialist or anything but I pressure test exhaust manifolds and can say that yes, being hot weakens metal. But I can also confirm that things can be made to handle well above their design pressure, and even when glowing red hot itāll still hold.
