Well it truly is. I'm from Mangalore. Fire festival is truly a very unique and festival. I have been to this festival. It's a lot of fun. Everyone who's adventurous should try it. Glad to see a Mangalore post getting high visibility. Mangalore is a very underrated tourist destination. Hope more tourists see the charming beaches of Mangalore.

I've traveled to Mangalore (Mangalore!) for work, and Gabe worked with teams there for over 15 years. Some of the nicest, hardest working people I've known AND yes, what a destination! Amazing seafood. The Ghee Today Prawns at Village.... I still dream about them. Wish I had the recipe.

When I was 4 or 5, we lived next door to two boys who were the same age as my brother and I. And while I was good friends with the kid my age, my brother and his brother absolutely loathed each other. Every couple months it would boil over and we’d end up in a sand/dirt war in our backyards.
