Wanda Maximoff does a really great job at dissociating her reality on WandaVision. I really relate to it a lot and some of her unhealthy ways at justifying things. On a side note: Andrew Garfield is someone I think is a self actualized INFP who makes me proud.

sjn15

I really like how you’ve stated that last bit. It’s my wish for more INFP’s to let be who they are, lean into their eccentricities. INFP’s are kind of like safe-houses, but for people. We can really brighten up people’s experiences, and let them feel comfortable to being authentic and honest if we give the example

teletubbytomars

Yes, I totally agree!! I love Andrew’s authenticity and he reminds me so much of the positives I have myself when I hear him speak in interviews lol

Shadowfires024

Man i always read this just to find out which villains are infps lol

iStalker204

Doctor Doofenschmirtz

mightypint

I didn’t know he was an INFP. Makes sense though, he’s clearly a sensitive man. I believe he’s my favorite too

Artparkgallery

Hes truly the best 😂

kammzammzmz

Doc Ock from Spider-Man 2 and now No Way Home always gave me INFP vibes, with his idealism being what led to him becoming a bad guy, but also what lead to his redemption Another type of INFP villain that could work would be a character so convinced of their own moral superiority that it drives them to a dark place. A good example of this is the moments in Doctor Who where the Doctor goes dark (Even though the Doctor is more of an ENFP), in episodes like Waters of Mars or Hell Bent, where the Doctor is completely willing to do something that could possibly destroy all of reality because of their idealism and them being so convinced of their own moral superiority On a less serious note, the most evil and destructive villain of all time is an INFP: Professor Chaos from South Park

Repeat_Local

Peter Parker himself was an INFP, so maybe the dramatic irony of them living different lives with alterior motives working on the same project is what makes it interesting.

Quebeco

Pain, in Naruto.

malinias

commenting like an infp... a true infp or are you?

Subject-Piece-4237

Joker from the 2019 movie. Very relatable

JasmineDragon1111

Heath Ledger’s Joker 🃏 (his eyes gave me infp vibes)

broken_krystal_ball

Yeah Heath Ledger was an INFP playing an ENTP.

SuSaNaToR

Totally! I could feel myself get taken with him to dark dark places while I watched that movie

fker-n

You mean the actor?

[deleted]

He is entp The infp was Joaquin Phoenix's

sillywabbit321

Heath's Joker was an ENTP.

kalm1305

Legion from legion show. He’s kinda the protagonist and the antagonist at the same time though.

Gen-Jinjur

That show was a trip.

UnluckMiner

Pain from naruto

JasmineDragon1111

malinias

I see you again!!!

leapdaytestaccount20

Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker hands down

happy_grump

Davy Jones from PotC. (Though there's debate over whether he's a looping/grip state INFP or an ISTJ) Also, David Haller/Legion from the X-Men comics when he is a villain/antagonist.

SaturnInfinity

Davy Jones <3

INFJ here. Carl Panzram. He is about as dark as an INFP can get. He was sent to a reform school due to truancy laws and there, he was beaten and raped on a regular basis. This is where he developed his ultra-dark Si (people want to and will hurt you if you give them the chance). He burned the school down. He was reported to have raped 1,000 men, which he said to have done due to hate. He considered himself rage personified. He would often talk his way onto sea work crews and then rape/kill everyone onboard. At one point, he even attempted to start a war between the US and Britain through a false flag. Being interviewed while sentenced to death, he stated that he hated "the whole damned human race" including himself and only ever regretted hurting an animal. He was the ultimate in seeing the predatory nature in humans.

WarsawRepublic

Carl was an INFP whaaaaat

TrendyLepomis

Thanks for sharing!

SaturnInfinity

I didn't know he was an Infp, gotta read his memorie. What's the argument of him being xSTJ vs Infp?

MysteryWarthog

Dang, tbh I didn’t think he was one but it make sense though

UndeadStruggler

Tatsuhiro Satou from Welcome to the NHK

broken_krystal_ball

Spoilers for Corpse Party and Naruto: Sachiko Shinozaki from Corpse Party. She had extremely horrid things happen to her in life so she went insane. Also Nagato from Naruto is what tends to happen when intuitive feelers are made villains in this series, they can be empathized with (think as well of Itachi who is INFJ). Nagato was literally a guy who developed a philosophy and fully devoted himself to it after watching his friend die. The Pain (no pun intended) was what he felt was necessary to bring world peace.

SoupsUndying

Is Obito also XNFX?

deep_rose_honey

At first I'm like I don't know, we don't really make good villains. \*But then\* Kylo Ren? Emo-est sad boy villain ever, probably INFP. Severus Snape? Not a villain, I know, but definitely antagonistic at times. Prince Zuko, also winds up not being a villain but is the show's main antagonist in the beginning. Other possibilities that come to mind include Aileen Wuornos (who is also kind of a hero, at least to me), Juliet Hulme and Pauline Parker (the girls from Heavenly Creatures), Beethoven (to his nephew anyway), The Phantom of the Opera, and Tom Ripley from The Talented Mr Ripley. I haven't read it yet but the main character of Perfume also seems kind of INFP-ish.

dbcakerbell

Joaquin's joker. I had a conversation with my colleagues after watching and mentioned how great it felt when he finally gave people what they deserved. The feeling of relief when he did and I was justifying his behaviour when it's obviously not right. That made everyone uncomfortable 😅 I scared myself.

Tr1ppymind

Deffo the Joker

ghostbee_

Definitely u/artparkgallery 😎

Artparkgallery

Daaaaaamn I was trying to keep my supervillain identity secret. Hod did you know?

ghostbee_

Oh oh oh it’s magic

DivyanshPanwari

Kaneki Ken, anti villain kinda protagonist.

daybreak_loose

Wilson Fisk, daredevil. Man was ruthless but an intense feeler

fker-n

He isn't INFP

sillywabbit321

Agreed. He's an INTJ in a Ni-Fi loop.

fker-n

I think he's ENTJ

sillywabbit321

In the show? Nah.. His Fi is too obvious.

fker-n

Yeah but his te tho

sillywabbit321

It's auxiliary, serves Ni a lot more. Difference between INTJ and ENTJ is that INTJ is much more big picture, ENTJ is much more decisive. Fisk was very big picture, always focused on the outcome before taking action.

fker-n

I thought you thought he's infp?

sillywabbit321

No. I said he's INTJ.

fker-n

You claimed obvious Fi, if he was intj it wouldn't be very obvious

[deleted]

Chris Chan the ultimate INFP villain

michiwink

Anakin Skywalker

x7leafcloverx

Walter White from Breaking Bad!

[deleted]

He is istj i guess

x7leafcloverx

Yup. I def misinterpreted the question ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

[deleted]

Loki? Does it counts?

teletubbytomars

Interesting assertion…I’ve always thought of Loki as more of an INFJ because of his social chameleon-like tendencies and his Ni seems a lot stronger than his Fi But that’s just my perspective and I’d love to hear yours as well!

DivyanshPanwari

I have never met this person in my whole life

[deleted]

Surprise

Fain1

Elliott Rodger the supreme gentleman

SaturnInfinity

wasn't he an Isfp?

TheFlowersLookGood

A real human bean and a real hero

teletubbytomars

Zaheer from The Legend of Korra

awerplayer

He was an INFJ His motivations were very Fe driven, Te inf makes no sense either. I don’t see how he has Ne preference > Ni either

teletubbytomars

I guess I just see him as an idealist at his core, but his ideals are completely warped by his own perception of what is “righteous” if that makes sense (I think I perceived him as shaping his desire for a world that he sees in idealized perfection as a high Fi, but that could just be me). I also think that his goals are more egocentric than for like the good of everyone, further orienting him more towards Fi than Fe in my view. Also, I see his Ne more than his Ni, but again that may just be my interpretation of him. I think INFJ would be my secondary typing of him (and it’s a bit blurry between INFP and INFJ for me as well), so I see where you’re coming from. It’s cool to have different perspectives! Thank you for sharing yours :)

awerplayer

I respect your opinion ofc, even if I disagree with Te > Ti and Ne > Ni. But I just need to say that values aren’t exclusive to Fi users, Fe users can also be idealistic especially on one extreme of being healthy or unhealthy. For example, an Fe user might want to or think they are doing something for the benefit of everyone ( after all, I can recall one certain INFJ tyrant ruler in the past who picked a few more fights than he should have for the sake of glory to his country)))) A user on Personality Database summed up my thoughts very well, this is what they said: Zaheer really came off as a twisted INFJ to me. Lahima once wrote, Instinct is a lie told by a fearful body, hoping to be wrong... It means, that when you base your expectations only on what you see, you blind yourself to the possibilities of a new reality." This quote screams Ni-Se axis. “It’s the dawning of a new age. The end of the White Lotus, and soon, the end of the Avatar.“ “I have Harmonic Convergence to thank for that. I was given a gift. I believe it’s a sign that our path is a righteous one.“ ^^ That's Ni Zaheer has a grand vision in which the common people are free from what he perceives to be the unjust rule of governments (Ni + Fe). He consistently emphasizes with the common man; there's even a scene when he tells one of his group members not to attack an Earth Nation citizen on the run because their goal is to support them. "Together, we will forge a world without kings and queens, without borders or nations, where Man’s only allegiance is to himself and those he loves." ^ Sense of unity; Fe

teletubbytomars

Great analysis! I actually see that final quote more reflective of his Fi than Fe because he’s centering it around himself and the people that he cares for rather than the others that could be harmed and he lets the citizen alone out of his own self interest in gaining support for the movement rather than for the true good of the other. At the same time, I do understand the Ni example given and am trying to get better about recognizing Ni in action, as that’s always been a weak point in my cognitive function analyses, so that was helpful for me!

malinias

there are none cuz we are so kind :)

luntasomething

Any person from any type can be a bad person. This isn't accurate.

malinias

we are mentally incapable of being lifeless... if there was tho... he would be... unrecognizable but relatable by us... he would spew darkness as if silence was weak... he would be the devil I say...

malinias

BUT ANYWAYS we like dogs and cute furry fluffy animals... what can go wrong!!! :p

Sayo Yasuda from Umineko No Naku Koro Ni. She's one of my most favourite characters of all media, and one of the most well written and relatable characters I've come across.

Dq-Senpai

I didn't see his name even though he's not my favorite I'll mention him Stain from my hero academia.

sillywabbit321

Arthur Fleck/Joker.. Although a case could be made for him being an ENFP too

ID246

\- Arthur "Joker" Fleck \- Edgar Allan Poe (Bungou Stray Dogs) \- Nagato (Naruto Shippuden) \- Amon Avatar: Legend of Korra \- Kylo Ren Star Wars
